- This was at the DMV in Woodstock Illinois. Local police and state police were called cause I was exercising my rights.The Sgt threatened me with arrest,and state Police barred me from the entire state of Illinois.(which is extremely illegal)I went to the police department and filed a complaint with Deputy Chief Pritchard. Even when normal people join law enforcement for the supposed right reasons they’ll become tyrants real quick or they’ll have no upward mobility and can’t get promotions and they will ultimately be shunned by their peers and have to quit or they will be fired. They’ll need to lie on reports, lie on the stand, and most importantly, always put the “thin blue line” and their “brothers in blue” above all else! Then they start having more and more contempt for the constitution and citizenry they swore to protect as their uneducated, ignorant, arrogant, small minds become more and more inflated! A few bad apples? Does anyone really believe that? Seriously🤬. The hate in their eyes when questioned in any manner says it all. It’s a serious problem and has serious, negative implications for anybody that crosses their path and doesn’t bow down to their imagined authority. I’m not a “defund the police” moron or a BLM activist because we obviously don’t want to live in a society where the “law of the jungle” reigns supreme. We want criminals to have something to be afraid of and we need thieves, murderers, rapists, violent lunatics, etc to be locked up but why? Why? Why? Why can’t we have law enforcement officers that actually know the laws and don’t give meaningless directives while they simultaneously hope and pray to lock anyone up that doesn’t praise them and do as they say when they have zero authority or dominion over you unless your committing a crime? Unfortunately, no cop will ever read any of our comments because the “head in the sand” approach enables them to keep their fragile egos intact🤬

He is very sarcastic and provoking. I guarantee you their are normal ways to explain (not entice) why he is doing what he is doing. I have been watching several constitution rights channel and agree with the principle but after a while I notice they do this (mostly) to make money on RUclips the risk of embarrassing and humiliates
anyone he catches off guard.

Exactly. Eyes can’t be trespassed and anything your eyes can see, you can record. This is all law backed by the supreme courts.

I’m out here in Chicago, Illinois and when you doing an audit, you need to remind law-enforcement and public workers what you doing is exactly on the civil service exam test if they pass the test, they would’ve known that you have a right to take pictures and film in public

Decades ago, when I went to the DMV in Illinois I watched many parents taking pictures and filming their kids getting their first licenses without ANY issues.

The Naperville DMV found a way around 1st amendment audits by requiring an appointment to even enter the building..there is literally someone that stands OUTSIDE to ask if each citizen if they have an appointment to enter the building..I would LOVE to see an audit attempt there! Love your work TTA!

When the Sergeant said "A 11th circuit ruling said you can't film in a government bldg" that would mean the 11th circuit overruled the SCOTUS's precedent of Glik v. Cunniffe. Lol Federal trumps state law.

The LAW says you can film “anything” you can see from a place you’re allowed to be, even personal information. If you can see public information from that place, which is all non restricted public spaces, including inside public buildings, it’s the fault of the entity holding the information. James is doing a great service, educating public servants on this common misconception.
This video ought to be shared with "That Surprise Witness." I follow her channel and she does wonderful work reviewing videos like this and provides her commentary in support of the auditors. She has reviewed several Long Island Audit videos.
Let's all send this to her. I think she would be interested in reviewing this one, especially after what utter nonsense I heard these officers say regarding a so-called Case Law regarding the private level of DMV facilities in Illinois.
