Gayle, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the inspiration your videos give me for my own projects. I am seventy years-old and live by myself. I don't drive so I search for things to fill the time. I read and I do paper crafts. You and Nik the Booksmith have steered me into my turning from scrapbook pages to making what I refer to as booklets. I do not do collections of images like most people do. I have no talent for design. But, I am good with words. In May I started my fourth "booklet". When I make these, each has a story theme. My first was a Christmas book where I wrote my personal Christmas memories throughout my life augmented by illustrations I found online. My second book was about essential aspects of growing up in the fifties: the polio epidemic, drive-ins, local establishments that defined my childhood like the neighborhood mom & pop store I frequented. I was so lucky because I found a photo of this store taken in the fifties. My third book had a Halloween theme. I intended to bind the pages together but I made a mistake that prevented this from being possible. So...I saw you create a file folder in which to place pieces of ephemera. So, I took the pages I created and tore the edges so they looked like they were "found". I made a file folder like I saw you do and decorated it so it looked like it was a dossier of criminal activity in a dangerous area of some city. It had a file name and a file number. I placed the pages into the folder and this became my "booklet". Watching your collage efforts and how you make your own ephemera, I experimented making a booklet page with ephemera pieces I created. I use a Cricut machine to cut out images I find. I use Cricut software to remove backgrounds and isolate images like a flower or a bird or something like that. The page I made was very nice. I was going to use it in a non-themed booklet. But, the next night (a lot of my inspirations come from dreams I have), I dreamed of making a booklet whose story was that of a young lady just graduating high school in 1918. The booklet would be her story with the backdrop being World War One and the Spanish influenza. While I made this booklet, I watched more of your videos to see how else I could be inspired. What happened was I did not get inspired by what you created. Your style is different from how I "see" things. But - and this is so much more important - the fact that you were always challenging yourself to create something from what you had at hand did inspire me to push my boundaries of what I could do. You do not "follow the leader" in your projects. You have ten objects at hand and you experiment with the creative possibilities of how to use those ten objects in a pleasing manner. This is what inspired me. Rather than take the easy way out, I challenged myself to make a booklet as perfect as I could make it. As a result, I learned how to use the Cricut Design Space software, Paint 3D, and Photoshop in ways I never used them before in order to create my pages. All of this was because of your videos. I don't create what you create. My tastes are different. But, where I found inspiration in what you do is that you are always finding ways to create something that appeals to you from a diverse collection of objects. That's what true creation is all about. It's not making your journals look like what everyone else is making. I finished my 1918 Diary this week. I learned how to create the pages in an electronic format before I started printing, cutting and gluing down. This helps me with trial and error creativity. I create an electronic model of the page before I ever make the page itself. For this project, I made a pact with myself that I would make each page as perfect to what I see in my mind's eye as I can before I make the physical page. I have still found a couple of things I want to change before I proceed with the physical creation. Interestingly, I already had the ending of the story plotted out before I even started the booklet. When I wrote the final diary entry, the plot I imagined was used. But, as I wrote the entry, my voice was taken over by the voice of the unnamed young lady the diary belonged to. I do not know if you have ever used creative writing in any of your projects. I have written creatively for decades. As I sat down to write this last diary entry, I found myself having this girl's story dictated to me by her. There was her voice in my head that told me what to write. As a result, the tone of what was dictated was completely different from what I imagined. Yes, the plot was there. But, the psychology of how the events of the plot impacted this character was not what I imagined. I've had times when this has happened before but never to the extent that it happened this time. So, please be aware, Gayle, that what you are doing with your channel goes beyond helping someone learn the mechanical way to create a journal. Your approach to individual creativity and holding true to that approach does make its way into the approach some of your viewers latch onto. My booklets are created for me alone. I am not a merchant. I have to admit that my friends have no interest in what I do at all. Some have even told me they find paper crafting boring and a waste of good time. But, I pull my projects out from under the bed from time to time and look through them. It makes me happy. One day I will stop apologizing to my friends for "wasting my time". Thank you, Gayle, for your inspiration.
Thank you so very much for sharing your creative life with me! It all sounds so very interesting! I especially loved the way your heroine wrote her own ending! I do understand that...there are times when I feel like a journal just makes itself. My hands just happen to be there helping the process. I absolutely love that creative conduit feeling!! Thank you for taking the time to let me know that my videos have added something to your creative life. It means the world to me! I love doing videos and feeling like I have a bunch of friends crafting along with me. I will do it as long as I can and as long as people are interested. By the way, feeding our souls through creativity is never a waste of time in my book! Grateful hugs to you! ❤️
This is fantastic Southern Biscuit!! You are amazing and God has gifted you with wonderful gifts!! I feel we are self publishing books every time we create and write in a journal. Keep it up and thanks for inspiring me to keep creating! Our life experiences are WONDERFUL stories. Everyone's store is unique to them. Someone somewhere will benefit by reading it someday! Keep doing what you love...it gives life joy ...it fills you with anticipation for another day! ♥️♥️🤗
I Love this! I had to chuckle when you said you were 70. I though, sweet - she's still doing... and then realized that WAIT, I'm 73 and cannot see stopping ever! I love your story! I am grateful that you have given yourself permission to let your imagination go and not let yourself be dictated to by your friends. I cannot imagine how boring life must be when you have no paper or other craft/art supplies to work with!
Wow, you are talented. I’m not a writer, I’m more visual so the art journals and mixed media appeal to me. I’ll be 70 next year and I really like your idea of a journal about growing up in the 50s. Whenever I go to estate sales or thrift stores I’ve been finding a few books about my local area and the town I grew up in and basically lived my entire life in the same area. I found lots of old photos of old buildings and places around town, lots of memories, I think I’m going to do that. You were talking about the polio epidemic and I remember having to have the shot and right after I had the shot they came out with the sugar cubes. I got the sugar cubes too I remember lining up at school and everybody getting one. And the air raid drills lined up in the hall with you on your knees with your head against the wall and your arms over your neck like that was going to save you from a nuclear blast, it’s really quite funny now.
By your channel name are you in the South. I live in Georgia have other journal friends that we get together from time to time. We live a couple of hours apart but you are invited to join us. We are all in our 60's, but we still giggle and laugh a ton. Keep doing what ever makes you happy!
I could watch these type all day. I learn from watching your thought process is determining what goes where. I love your sense of humor. That frog idea, was the BEST.
Just a heads up .... the more craft room you have the more treasures you will fill it up with . Started out with a closet in the extra bedroom . Took over the whole room , now hubby built me a 20x20 craft room and it’s bursting at the seams. But I have a reading space comfortable chair and lots of book shelves.
Oh Gayle... I just love the joy you are emanating while you are finishing these journals!!! I think that last fabric flip is one of my favourite flips I’ve seen!!! Sooo gorgeous!!! I look forward to watching you finish these beauties!!! Big hugs, Sharon 🌷💜
A goal to maybe work towards is a separate table specifically for the project your working on that's not for storing supplies but just a lovely big space for your making process. Filming might be easier too. You are so generous as a RUclipsr. So much sharing of your time, skills and stories. I spend a lot of time alone and it's nice to listen to you in the background when I'm creating. All the best planning your work and storage spaces. xo
You speak about being vintage...then that makes me about ancient. My craft room is 12x14 and 3ft to 4ft deep from floor to ceiling covered with stuff. Bless your hubby for suggesting you branch out. I have taken a portion of another room already, soon to take the second room completely. If I take on another craft that causes me to collect more, I really will be in trouble. Glad there are ,ore friends like me. LOL
Good morning. Was at the grocery store this morning getting camping supplies and told my husband I am missing getting my Gayle fix. So I had to watch it later. But these are turning out great. Thanks again..Hugs ❤
That frog card-perfect, "you HAD to do it!" lol. Can never go wrong using a Mr's Cog images, that's for sure. loved seeing you use one of my little stamped bunny images, i really want to do some image stamping on tissue and tea bags to add those to one of my ephemera folios, if you hadn't have done it, i would have forgotten about this fun DIY supply we all can make ;) i had that same set of Ol Maid cards too. The essential oil, wish we had "smellavision" so we could sniff what "Focus" smells like ;) your really moving along on these cinch journals gayle-well done! will be watching for them to be listed :D thanks for sharing and inspiring.
You deserve to have a big space Gayle!! I understand your hesitation but if you take it slowly it would be a great blessing. My current craft space is in our shed. I ran out room in my small craft space in our bedroom. We are a family of 5 and every room is designated or taken. We even homeschool in our dining room. I took a chance and set up a craft space in our unfinished shed. It has been the best decision ever. I may not have interior walls or a ceiling yet; but I have space. It wasn’t an easy transition but it was worth it!!
Happy wife, happy life......(Mr A!!) This was a happy video, and a joy to watch, those frogs were soooo cute, they were made for that space, and your giggle was sweet. The fabric flip was inspired, and the dangly lace bit gorgeous. Just think of the space when this journals go out into the world that you will have in your craft room!!! TFS 😻x
I loved the chinch video. It took me three tries before I was successful. The 3rd try was such a happy dance moment. I just received my cinch today. I purchased the chinch from Amazon.. after two deliveries I finally got a working cinch. The first one came broken. The second chinch was delivered to the neighbors. That was fun. Thank you for the tutorial . I watched several tutorials but your tutorial identified the problem that I was having. The back goes on the bottom. Too cool. I enjoyed laughing with you. lol
Hi Gayle: The progress on these journals is so much fun to watch. I love how you use all the playing cards, tally cards, etc. in "just the perfect spot." Maybe you should hide your bunny stamp off camera so it's really a surprise for the lucky new owner to find (chances are good that they're watching your videos). Thanks for sharing your creativity! Donna From the Jersey Shore.
Oh My, I can really relate to the vintage books conversation! I have YET to create a journal with one, but I continue to SEARCH for wonderful books! When you share a unique book, I begin my search for it! Thank you and I hope to ACTUALLY use one SOON!
I do my crafting on the dining room table - heh, small house. I would love one of those "she-sheds" where I could do all my playing out there. Anyway, love these journals you're working on, and especially love the unique ways you use fabric. :-)
I do love and watch all. your videos and am always amazed at the amount of ephemera, lace, ribbon, envelopes, etc., you have! Blows my mind ( I'm jealous ).
I stated watching this in the tub, not a place I can take notes in! LOL! Soaking in hot water is excellent for pain and for watching YT! I love the idea of moving your books and covers to the other room! That way you can go shopping without leaving home! I have always noticed that the most efficient and wonderful studios (YOU HAVE A STUDIO!) are those with lots of storage, making the working area much more pleasant! I would keep your TV where it is so you can more easily craft with your hubby without having to drag things all over the house. That never ends well! LOL! LOVE your Cinch books! I have a Zutter binder and I love it - except that I cannot pick and choose where to punch my holes. I did, however, get mine at Tuesday Morning for under $30 several years ago and it works well. I would love to have round holes though.... and there I go dreaming again! LOL! I as in Hobby Lobby yesterday and they had a Cinch for $79, which was almost tempting - but it had the square holes. LOL! Easier to walk away from. YOU have my Old Maid! I still have my old Old Maid and Authors cards minus the Old Maid. I converted one of the other cards to an OM... I found them and my Jacks in a little wicker basket when we were cleaning out my folks place. I am NOT the only one who holds onto thing in my family!
So I am talking along with the video, truly might be losing it. I said, "Yep, Gayle I start to panic just a little when I start hitting the stash too hard." I find myself "saving" things. Really, scrapbook paper form the 90's? Love the journals they are turning out super cute! Glad you are having fun. So nice of your hubby to offer up more room, that means a lot even if you don't move. It's the thought that counts!
Gayle, the 'crafting space' struggle is real. I am a hand spinner/fiber artist/soap maker . I took over a downstairs bedroom and grew out of it in short order. This spring my husband bought me a vintage RV. OH MY! I moved my bulky equipment for fiber out there. He hooked me up with AC, and a cozy chair and refrigerator and now I can do the messy dying and carding and washing fibers out there. I may video some tutorials out there also. I doubt I will use it in the winter though. If you have the outside space it's an idea for you too;)
You're a woman after my own heart! So many times when you're chatting I nod my head and go... Yes! That's me!! Although I don't have a craft room....i have 'crap everywhere!' 🙄
I love love love the frogs.!! I need frog inspiration to giggle. What our world needs now is more giggles. I'll stop now but this will stay awhile ..... rolling around on the inside looking for an escape. Gray haired lady at Safeway giggling while waiting in line. Yep that's me. Thanks ❤❤❤❤😂🙄😉
Ysa I'm sorry I didn't respond to your question sooner. I was just deciding how I wanted to answer this question. There's a lot of different ways to use journals some people use them to Art in. Others write in them like a diary. Yet still others like to glue things in them. Some people put pictures and use them like a scrapbook. Place to keep memorabilia and how you felt about those things like movie tickets going to Disney with family hanging out with a friend. I guess what I'm saying it's a very personal book The people each use in different ways. If you look on RUclips and you put in what is the junk journal for you'll get a lot of videos with a lot of different information. I myself don't use mine for a lot I just like to have them because they're pretty and I enjoyed their beauty they're a work of art. Some of my own I do write in like a diary but the ones I collect from others I mostly put on shelves to display. I love the idea that a lot of these books and pages are actually books or pages that would have been trashed if someone hadn't saved them most of the books that I collect to work with I get from the library just before they're ready for the incinerator. I love to recycle and I love the feeling that we're saving something special. I hope that someone answers your question. Keep watching Gail it's a good place to learn a lot about what we do in this awesome crafting community.
I enjoy watching these come together. It is satisfying to see you get 'er done. I am not accomplishing much myself but when I go thru depression I cannot get 'er done, lol! Hugs
I think we all have the book problem?! lol Nature of the beast & all that. :) Yay for more craft room space! :D Seems easiest / most logical to put the shelves in the new/ expanded, craft room? Save time, energy & all that? Also easier to look & get what you want or need , when the time comes? Just an idea. :) Love those frogs!
I have the same problem, I can’t stop buying books!! I just love the way they look and feel but same as you I have no space for them!! My crafting has taken over my whole house 🤪
Move the books, that's what I have done, mine are all up on shelves in my huge closet. Easily accessible. Then you'll have plenty of room to spread out a little. I just moved and I'm still organizing and arranging. It's coming along though. I have a muchbiggeroom now. Love these journals.
I’m a vintage book hoarder, I mean collector too! OMG, you had me laughing so hard with the frogs...I love it and I’m glad you put them in there. What a fun video...had me constantly smiling.
Crafting Police Officer: Just cut this page straight for me, please, Mrs Agostinelli... 🤨🤔 Gayle: I promise, Ociffer Crafty, I’m not under the influence, I’m jush very focussshed! 🤪😬
Take over the basement! The biggest room in the house should be used for where you spend most of your time! That’s your crafting room. Move the Tv upstairs (it’s only adding cable and some blinds) which is a small price to pay for your happiness and well being! Go to ikea, get done Billy bookshelves & Kallux shelves ( or a second hand store) and set your room up so you love it and have space! Life is too short to be cramped! I would be moving my stuff before my hubby changed his mind! LOL Liz (who turned our dining room into my sewing room...best move l ever made!) Go for it!!!
Love these Cinch journals Are you going to do your next DT project this way? Would love to see a start to finish using a specific digital kit. Enjoy watching you. Always amazing! Thanks
So excited for you. Just remember, the more space you have, the more you fill it up...at least that’s been the story of my life. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. P.S. the frogs were definitely the right choice in my estimation.
If you have time t read this, I have a thought....maybe hubby would like to be able to watch tv more. Maybe that’s why he suggested the tv go upstairs! 😉😃. Wanted to tell you, I took three days to totally clean and organize my entire work space while listening and occasionally watching you during breaks. I finally feel like it’s somewhat under control...not that it will stay that way! Ha! Glad you’re working your way through the UFO’s. Good job!
I know I don't have to tell you this, but your hubby is a keeper!! That was so nice that he was thinking of you and your crafting space. I wish we lived closer. I'd volunteer myself to help figure out book storage for your books, but since we don't and I don't know your set up. Is there a place to put the wall shelves that mount on the wall in the studs and you add brackets and boards? I think they aren't the best looking shelves, but they can hold a ton.... When or if you sell the cinch journal with the etiquette and frogs eating. I hope I have a fighting chance to buy that one. That just tickles me so much!! Whoop Whoop one done!! I never get tired of watching you decorate since I am crafting with you!!
Love all of your videos and enjoy listening to your stories. Just my opinion, I think it would be much less expensive to get new blinds and cable than to move!lol When I started journaling I had no clue how much "stuff" you can collect up and have to put somewhere!
I have a terrible time going back to a project once I've gotten away from it. My mother used to say you don't die until all of your projects are completed...….she should have lived to be 1000 yrs old. lol I have a really hard time decorating the front cover of journals. Could you please add that to your list? thanks Gayle.
Hi Gayle,. Can you show us how you made the pockets in the cinch journals. I am loving the swirl look of them. And I just notice that they were a double pocket. Thanks!!
Moving your books out sounds like it would help solve your space issues. I have space issues too. My daughter told me I should get rid of the things I don't use. haha and what would that be ?
I don’t know your exact layout, but if you move the tv upstairs, will it make working while you and hubby watch tv at night a bit more complicated? You would be pretty much limited to what you can take upstairs, but in previous videos you have mentioned several things you already do while watching tv. It will take getting used to, but if you don’t like it, things can always be moved back since you will already have the cable hookup.
Gayle, you're really moving along with these journals and just think.......you'll have a big empty box where once your unfinished projects used to live. Would love to see a tutorial on making our own dangles for the art glitter glue bottles?? Hugs from Linda
WOW!!!! How exciting....getting the whole basement!!!!! What a sweet offer, but getting more room period will be a great first step!! Is there wall room in your den that you could put up bookshelves for all those books and the stuff you don't use as much? And not take away from watching TV in there? The journals are turning out lovely and I really do like how easy it is to turn the pages and how flat they lay! I am fast learning that it is almost imperative that you have lots of already made-up ephemera ahead of starting to finish the insides of journals.....that probably means that I should, really should get started on that, right? ha ha Oh, and thought I'd let you know I Still can't access your website for some reason. I turned off my computer and restarted it, I deleted cookies and cache (whatever that is) and also checked if Google Chrome needed to be updated and it was OK, so.....who knows? But, we will figure it out somehow!!! Hugs and XOXOXOXO
Thank you, Nancy! I tried and I can’t get in either! So, I’ve called my son who built the website. Hopefully, he can figure out what’s going on! Thanks a million for letting me know there is a problem!! ❤️
Nancy Kirk I couldn’t get onto the website today either, but I was able to the last time I checked. The last time I was on it I couldn’t get the Amazon links to work but on the next day they worked, I think there’s always kinks with tech.
I'm relatively new to your channel, but I love love love how you've organised those books into storage of images.... Do you have videos of how you made them etc... Do you have a link? I'd love to try and organise my stuff like that too!! ☺
Your choking on the Focus essential oils! 😂😂😂 Oh Gayle you crack me up! I'm loving the videos on your cinch journals. May I ask how you made the pin Bobby thing that goes in the tip of your glitter glue? I want to make one for my glitter glue bottle before I open it when I start my first journal.
Hi Gayle What is the purpose of the vintage playing cards? Is it simply for decoration purposes? I found some vintage fabric cocktail napkins, and some books today best find of the day Famous Women of the Bible by Henry Davenport Northrop,D.D. It’s very old but not a first addition. It has beautiful illustrations and words. Can’t wait to get going on a new journal. Thank you for all your inspiration
Hi Nancy! Yes, just for decoration! The journal’s new owner could back them with coffee dyed paper if they want to use them to journal on. But really it’s decoration and a little gift of something vintage. ❤️
Hi Gayle, I'm busy making my first Cinch journal. How many base pages would you say should I use with a 1inch coil? I'm using my old scrapbook papers and would like to add the same amount of decorations and interactive elements as you do in yours. I don't want it to be too bulky when I'm finished journaling in the end....
I usually do about 25 pages. Usually only a couple of them are scrapbook paper and most are notebook paper thickness, so if you’re using more scrapbook paper, you might want to put in fewer pages. Hope that helps! ❤️
Maybe start small and move your books out and clear off the big table if possible. Work with it for awhile and see how it goes. You can always take your time and move TV out later if it still doesn't give you the room you want/need. I am going on 4 years in my craft space and ready to make some more changes - one day it will be perfect!! Adding cable line upstairs shouldn't be that difficult, I've done it myself before. You will know what's right for you!
Hi Janice! I have some Beginner Tutorials on my channel. I have a playlist called Tutorials where you can find them easily or search Gayle Agostinelli Beginner Tutorial and you should find them. 😁❤️
Gayle, when you first started saying that your husband wanted to talk to you about your crafting and RUclipsing I was so scared, I thought he was going to tell you that you need to cut back in order to spend more time with the family. I was so relieved when he offered you more space, yay, you have a good one apparently.
On the page right around 19-20 min in the video, what about a little bit of dry brush gesso so you can still see the cool lettering but it’s writable too?!?!
do you have a y.t. on how to make storage stickers or the notebook that has ribbon to hold close. that holdes ephemra think i can't find it . Thanks and keep it up .
OMGosh, Gayle! You're husbands suggestion is exactly what I suggested to you a little while back. Great minds and all that. lol Jump on that, Girlfriend!
Gayle, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the inspiration your videos give me for my own projects. I am seventy years-old and live by myself.
I would love to see a whole new series on this binder system. Starting with choosing and or making the covers. I am loving this so much.
LOL
That final fabric flip is so beautiful! It looks very boho, too. These cinch journals are all so awesome.
Good morning. Was at the grocery store this morning getting camping supplies and told my husband I am missing getting my Gayle fix. So I had to watch it later. But these are turning out great. Thanks again..Hugs ❤
I really love watching you create! If I only have time to watch one video, yours is the one I always choose. Thanks for being such an inspiration!
The deep maroon fabric flip with the other fabric and lace is so yummy! So elegant.
Too cool. I enjoyed laughing with you. lol
I'm never tired of watching you decorating journals 😍❤
Gayle I absolutely love this cinch journal, right up my alley. Tfs
Oldie but definitely a goodie, thusfar Gayle. Bunches of smiles, Carol
So fun!! I think that decorating the journals is my favorite part! Making the fabric flip in particular was soooo satisfying!
I do my crafting on the dining room table - heh, small house. I would love one of those "she-sheds" where I could do all my playing out there. Anyway, love these journals you're working on, and especially love the unique ways you use fabric. :-)
Really loving the experience of watching these evolve! Thank you for the inspiration and techniques!!!
I’m so happy you chose that frog card!! I love tongue in cheek. Take the whole basement Gayle! 😁💜👍🏻😘
I do love and watch all. your videos and am always amazed at the amount of ephemera, lace, ribbon, envelopes, etc., you have! Blows my mind ( I'm jealous ).
Yippee! Love the finished journal. And the frogs eating in bed - what a hoot!!🤣
It is so fun to see what you are doing with these cinch books. Glad your having fun catching up on unfinished journals.
These are very nice journals! Yes I can tell you are having fun! It’s fun seeing you get so excited! Thanks for another great video!
Oh my goodness Gayle, say yes! Cable and new blinds are such small adjustments and the result would impact you in such a positive way every day!!!
Great journals Gayle. Yay, you used the frogs!!!!!
ᒪᗰᗩᔕᔕO
Gayle I love these cinch journal videos. You’ve inspired me to make them, I found a used Cinch machine on eBay and am so excited to get creating!
Awesome you finished one and it turned out fabulous. Thank you for sharing this process.
I have the book collecting affliction too! These cinch journals are turning out great :)
I would jump on the idea of expanding your space by moving the tv upstairs! Such a gorgeous flip at the end and as usual, beautiful journals!
This was a real blast! The frogs made my favorite journal even better!!! I couldn't get tired of watching anything you do!!! TFS ❣️📚🧵💜🐸
Please can you tell me what journals are for? It's very pretty but what do people use them for?
Laughed so at the frogs in the bed with the etiquette, that's so funny! :D
Gayle!! You crack me up! Seriously tho... I need to borrow your diffuser & "focus" lol -- I am right there with ya!! 🤣🤗
This is so much fun! I say go for the expansion; it will be so worth it. Think of how much time you spend in your craft room. 🤗 hugs!
I adore that fabric flip!
I enjoy watching these come together. It is satisfying to see you get 'er done. I am not accomplishing much myself but when I go thru depression I cannot get 'er done, lol! Hugs
Sending you big hugs and lots of love, Patricia! ❤️
Awesome as always Gayle. Have a blessed day. Shirley
Thank you for the inspiration.. Love the frog. I have a cinch but have never used it
This was fun! I even got a few things done while watching. Thanks for sharing!
THANK YOU GAYLE FOR YOUR VIDEOS-I LOVE YOUR IDEAS.AND YOU ARE JUST SO SWEET-HUGS/BLESSINGS
I think we all have the book problem?! lol Nature of the beast & all that. :)
Yay for more craft room space! :D Seems easiest / most logical to put the shelves in the new/ expanded, craft room? Save time, energy & all that? Also easier to look & get what you want or need , when the time comes? Just an idea. :)
Love those frogs!
I have the same problem, I can’t stop buying books!! I just love the way they look and feel but same as you I have no space for them!! My crafting has taken over my whole house 🤪
The fabric flip came out very elegant
Love it! So inspired by your work.
Hello how great your journal they look amazing. Your ideas are really good. I will try to make the journal. 😁
Gayle: I promise, Ociffer Crafty, I’m not under the influence, I’m jush very focussshed! 🤪😬
😂😂😂. Oh my gosh, Jeanette, you just slay me! You should be a stand up comedian! 😂❤️
Gayle Agostinelli Oh my gosh, I’d die a death! I’m a hopeless introvert! 😂😘
Beautiful journal! You had me laughing at those frogs, they are perfect!
LOL
Liz (who turned our dining room into my sewing room...best move l ever made!) Go for it!!!
God bless the husbands of crafters! I have a keeper also.
Amen!
Love these Cinch journals
Are you going to do your next DT project this way? Would love to see a start to finish using a specific digital kit. Enjoy watching you. Always amazing! Thanks
Oh these r coming up lovely gayle..love the frogs in bed..lol...🌷
Thanks for the inspiration Gayle! Hugs...til next time. ;-)
Good job!
Good morning ☀️!
Crafting time, breakfast grilled cheese and lots of coffee ☕️
I was so hoping you’d ick that lace for the fabric flip wowwww
PRECIOSO!!! 😍😍😍😍ASI CON MAYUSCULA. Mevhe quedado enamorada de las telas y puntillas que tienes♥️
You bet, Linda! ❤️
Hi Gayle,. Can you show us how you made the pockets in the cinch journals. I am loving the swirl look of them. And I just notice that they were a double pocket. Thanks!!
Coming up in a future video...the swirly double pockets! 😘❤️
🤣🤣🤣 the frogs! Love it.
Thank U for your wonderful videos!!
You will be very happy with your own space. Take the plunge!
Gayle, you're really moving along with these journals and just think.......you'll have a big empty box where once your unfinished projects used to live. Would love to see a tutorial on making our own dangles for the art glitter glue bottles?? Hugs from Linda
Tracie Fox has a video on making the dangles for Art Glitter. I haven’t made one as I’ve received the ones I use in happy mail. ❤️
I am fast learning that it is almost imperative that you have lots of already made-up ephemera ahead of starting to finish the insides of journals.....that probably means that I should, really should get started on that, right? ha ha
Oh, and thought I'd let you know I Still can't access your website for some reason.
@@LynsAlteredArts Thanks Lyn....yes,the cyber world has it's imperfections for sure!!! I'll go check again!!!
Gayle, you are so adorable......,I loved so much your vídeo, you have un genial carácter!!!!!!!
Congratulations on 25k subscribers!
I'm relatively new to your channel, but I love love love how you've organised those books into storage of images.... Do you have videos of how you made them etc... Do you have a link? I'd love to try and organise my stuff like that too!! ☺
Hi Louisa! I think if you search Gayle Agostinelli Ephemera Folio, you should find the videos where I created them. ❤️
Love love love the cinch journals, did you list them on Etsey ?
I did, Ginger! 😁❤️
I didn’t make it but received it happy mail. I do know Tracie Fox has a tutorial on making your own glue pin dangle. ❤️
Gayle Agostinelli Oh my, I hope I can find that video! Thank so so much Gayle!
Another great video 🥰
Oh, also, glad you zoomed in a little.
Love the banners
Hi Gayle
What is the purpose of the vintage playing cards?
@@gayleagostinelli_ct thank you so much it does help a lot 🙏🏻
Maybe start small and move your books out and clear off the big table if possible. Work with it for awhile and see how it goes. You can always take your time and move TV out later if it still doesn't give you the room you want/need. I am going on 4 years in my craft space and ready to make some more changes - one day it will be perfect!! Adding cable line upstairs shouldn't be that difficult, I've done it myself before. You will know what's right for you!
Hi Gayle love your channel I just got interested in junk journals how do you make them or even get started
I was so relieved when he offered you more space, yay, you have a good one apparently.
very cool journals.
Where did you get that little bunny stamp on the tissue paper or what brand is it?
The tissue with the bunny stamp came in happy mail, so I don’t have the stamp or know the brand. So sorry!! ❤️
On the page right around 19-20 min in the video, what about a little bit of dry brush gesso so you can still see the cool lettering but it’s writable too?!?!
Your "layered" pockets are lovely. Do you think the energy spent has a return when you sell? Just sayin"...
do you have a y.t. on how to make storage stickers or the notebook that has ribbon to hold close. that holdes ephemra think i can't find it . Thanks and keep it up .
I believe their are three videos. If you search “Gayle Agostinelli ephemera folio”, they should come up for you! ❤️
It's so funny how color really does determine almost everything ....
OMGosh, Gayle! You're husbands suggestion is exactly what I suggested to you a little while back. Great minds and all that. lol Jump on that, Girlfriend!
I totally remembered that!! Thanks for planting the seed in the universe! Haha! ❤️
@@gayleagostinelli_ct I totally believe we need to plant all kinds of wonderful, positive seeds all over the place. xx
