I was scrolling through videos and up popped one from 4 years ago. FOUR!!! Wow! This was so fun. I think I like this no sew method of making a Junk Journal. Another thing to add to my growing list of things that I want to try. Lol. I really enjoy that you showed us the whole process even though you thought you made some mistakes. So we could learn from them. I love that about your videos. If you never made any mistakes, if everything was always perfect, I’d probably give up. Lol. I like that you show us the way you fix things. This was fun!! ♥️♥️♥️

This is such a gem, thank you for posting! I've been looking at a way to create my junk journal WITHOUT having to sew because I'm just not jazzed about having to do that. Plus, this is an awesome way to add additional pages if I need or want to.

Katie S kind of like unwanted animals at the pound, the sheer number of unwanted books set for destruction makes it impossible to adopt, care for, and save them all. God knows my book rescue is filled to capacity 😂 I do, of course, have old books that I will never repurpose. However I have let go of the guilt that I cannot save them all.

It is really hard for me to see books torn up or cut up or whatever. But I do understand that sometimes a book is either in the wrong language or outdated or just lying there even though it has a pretty cover or spine, taking up space but no one can read it or use it. So after this introduction and accepting how much the spine separation hurt as well, your finished journal is very beautiful and I really liked the charms you have used. The more the prettier I think in your case, they add a nice colour effect to the covers' and spine's dulled colours. Thank you for sharing!📚📏✂✏🙏🏻

Hi Bobsi, This journal turned out gorgeous! The cover is stunning and the charms are so fun! It will be interesting to see how you like working with this new binding method. I love that you were daring enough to do this type of binding for the first time on camera and that you were able to figure out ways to turn around those small mistakes. I think that helps people be daring too. I really admire how open you are . I don't think you know how much that really helps all of us. Have a fabulous day my kind friend. :)

This is such a pretty way to go ahead and You have another option to wrap in your signatures. I've stopped sewing in my signatures because I found that doing the twine binding method by doing the wrapping on the outside of the spine it looks so pretty with a tied bow on the outside I just love it and I love that flexibility of having to be able to add more papers as you journal or just if you want to add some more artistic flares❤
