I think 99.9% of us can clearly understand you with your accent. I'm from UT so I'm not exposed to southern accents usually and I understand everything you say. Those that don't should watch those without an accent, no need to leave comments.
I’ve never seen this type of binding before and I’m so glad you showed it to us! I really like it and appreciate the no sewing. Thank you for sharing it with us.
What a beautiful journal. Thank you for sharing this "no sew" method. You explained every little detail so well and I can't wait to get started on mind.😊❤
I just wanted to say, I love that you don’t speed up your videos! There’s so many others who do and it’s so frustrating because I can’t figure out what they’re doing. I really appreciate that you take the time to explain things and show us how to do it before speeding anything up. Yes, it means your videos are long but if I can’t watch it all in one go, I’ll watch it in multiple sittings. I suggest the complainers do the same. So this is just to say, don’t change. You are my favourite crafter and I’ve learned so much from you! Thank you ☺️
Oh it is so good to see you (both) thriving and just getting ready❤ I got my son at age 39 and vividly remember struggling with car seats and such. I was surprised by how much “easier” it was having him in my stomach as opposed to carrying car seat, bags and so on afterwards😂Mind you I was by then alone, so a bit more work. But the absolutely greatest thing to happen in my life. And every age has its own great moments and you grow with the role as your Girl grows. Wishing you the best and just enjoy every day😊
This has to be one of the best tutorials I’ve ever seen explaining this technique. The best hack was using the scoreboard to cut the slits! This video was the first time I’ve seen anyone do this! Thanks!
Wow! I’m so pleased that you liked my accordion spine idea! I did a few of these back in 2019 and I’ve seen a couple of journal-makers who watched my videos lately do them, too. I like your take on doing the spine shorter. Very nice! Blessings, Judy 😘🤗💕
This style of binding is reminiscent of tab binding but I love the way this goes together. Can't wait to try it for a journal I have been making pages for! Thank you so much for a wonderful, easy to follow demonstration! 👍🏻
Your instructions were perfect and I love show and tell it's the best way to learn. I haven't made a spine like this in a long time, I needed a refresher so thank you. I love the look of sewing but I get tired of always having to run to the other room to do it. This is such a great change. TFS
Thank you Edith! I love it. I was thinking of making one for me elderly Mother. Put pictures in it of her children, grand/great grandchildren and my Dad who has been with Jesus for 19 years now. This would be great for newlyweds and new parents etc. God bless you. P.S. I love your "southern accent" and you are easy to understand for this Northern Michigan gal.
I love that kind of biding, it is so easy and it looks gourgest! Thanks for sharing. I like the way you always say: "you know me" and then laugh 🥰you're so sweet 🤗. Greetings from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
I love the hinge way the best! Just learning about all this and collecting papers. I do have a lot of stash from card making. Plan on doing this during the summer while I recoperate from a knee replacement.
That's was an amazing tutorial, I have been trying to find a decent tutorial for journaling as I am a beginner, and thanks too you I have completed my 1st journal. Thank you.
This is the best construction of a binding that I have ever seen!! I absolutely love this! I cannot wait to make one! It's awesome for any size journal! Great tutorial as always ❤👏
❤️❤️❤️ the construction of this journal!!! Never seen this before either. Thank you for explaining why you didn’t glue the sections of the accordion together, it made absolute sense and definitely allows much more room to add things to the pages without getting too bulky. I might even add a ribbon closure just in case it gets nice and full so that I can hold it together just a bit more. Love this project!!!
Thank you so much for the great video, I have never seen this method before but I LOVE IT!! and I had no idea the eraser would work on white glue or ink! thank you for the tips!
Love watching your videos I’m a beginners and the way u teach is so easy to follow please don’t fast forward to much I’d rather watch 2 videos and see how udon it or do u have a start to finish beginner video thank u for sharing love your stores to
I made one Loved no sewing. It was fun. At the end I made a small mistake by putting the cover paper on the front cover before glueing down but managed to sort it out. I've made this very first journal for my granddaughter in Durban South Africa. Thank you❤
Thank you, Eve, for this excellent tutorial! I have made quite a few since viewing this and the results have been consistently professional. One thing I have added is to glue a strip of lightweight cotton muslin/fabric to the inside of the 4" x 18" accordion hinge for extra reinforcement, in case the hinge folds crack or become compromised with time & use. These finished journals are works of art & labor and deserve many years of use. Beautiful!
Just discovered your channel and already a big fan! I appreciate the speed of the video as I usually need to step by step process shown to me. For those who want a faster video, you can always adjust the speed in you tube settings. I'll be trying to make this journal soon. Thanks!
WOW! Beautiful journal! I like the binding and how you made pockets out of the binding tabs... genius idea! Can't wait to see what you do to complete your journal! Thanks for a wonderful tutorial! God bless!🤗
Another brilliant tutorial thank you. Brought back memories making mini journals/notebooks like this out of toilet roll centres 😍 You can add stiff, patterened cardstock or decorated skewers into binder mountain loops to lock pages in place ... looks super cool if you reverse the way you push 'mountains through page slits and create a decorated spine 😀
This is the first time I’ve seen this type of JJ being constructed. Very cool! Not sure I am up for it now, so I have saved it because I know I will try it at some point. TYFS, Edith! 🌻🌻🌻
