    Hell Yeah, the judge actually held up her end of the bargain. That cop still needs to go to prison. They need to go back and investigate all the arrests he was involved in, and also check the files of the accused.

    Sue the cop for false imprisonment. Officer like him that can't admit they got it wrong should not be police officers. You were wrong. Move on.

    • @shena1256
      @shena1256 2 года назад +6

      @@angiejorah I'm saying that cop knew he had nothing new to add to the case.. He stopped a court proceeding with old evidence which left him locked up longer. That's false imprisonment. He should sue the officer for that

    • @rowynnecrowley1689
      @rowynnecrowley1689 2 года назад

      Cases like this don't really happen cuz someone "got it wrong". They happen cuz lazy racist cops and prosecutors don't care about solving cases, just closing them. Doesn't matter if they arrest the right person. And they're more than happy to take advantage of a victim by telling them who to pick out of a line up. I'd wager out of everyone locked up in prison, only about 20% of them are actually guilty, and probably 80% of those are in there for non violent drug offenses.

      he should sue whoever he could for everyday he was in prison (something like back pay)

      Hopefully this man is compensated for the last 15 years of his life.. Because it won't be easy to transition into society for him.
      It's amazing to me how 2 women pick him out of a lineup out of multiple people. Makes ya wonder if the cops weren't pointing fingers for the 2nd girl to identify him after the first one was wrong.

  • @rowynnecrowley1689
    @rowynnecrowley1689 2 года назад +18

    This man lost 15 years of his life because this cop failed to do his job properly. And why the hell wasn't DNA tested 15 years ago? Everyone involved in locking him up needs to be fired and put in jail themselves. See how they like spending 15 years in prison.

      Even the people that was supposed to double check should be in jail also... When one officer minipulates to not test the.... You would think that when the man says Hey someone is lying about my dna needs to investigate... Whoever was supposed to investigate as a team should be held accountable too why would it take 15 years... I'll tell you why.... Because a lot of other people weren't doing their job also.... The ones that should Have been investigating the officer..... That was claiming the guy's guilt... Any overseer office that was supposed to look into this to see if the cop was right or not should be held accountable also..... We need to start holding the ones that are supposed to hold the cops accountable.... We need accountability for the overseers....

During the most important yrs of his life? When a man is young enough to earn the most money, he was in prison for a crime he did not commit.

    Terrance Calhoun should pursue a lawsuit and further investigation into the officers history and the history of that office and he should sue the girls for identifying him as well as the department of corrections for the years of trauma he has been put through and the missed opportunities he has had and he needs to write a victim impact statement. That officer should face charges of wrongful imprisonment for the last week of this man's sentence and should lose his badge his gun and his name should be publicly released to his entire neighborhood and all of his previous cases should be reviewed by internal affairs. That's justice that isn't blind ⚖️i bet my opinion won't get read on air. The news stations would never want to disrupt the flow of wrongful imprisonment for the department of corrections now would they.

    Justice… uuuum how… what compelled this man to plead no contest in 2007… ? Was there some type of coercion or threat by the government? What type of legal representation allowed him to make such a plea… why? This does not scream justice after 15 years when the evidence to prove guilt or innocence (DNA) was available in 2007… did anyone check the DNA back then if so why didn’t they share the findings to counsel and if not… why not? This is a very messy result and it doesn’t seem like justice to me…
