I know right? Sooner and later, they will soon face their own demons for sending a innocent person in prison for crime he didn't commit or do anything dangerous. I feel sorry for him.
I can’t even imagine spending one day behind bars for something I didn’t do. But 20 YEARS?!?? Bless him. He seems to have a positive outlook for his future and I’m here for it .
This is amazing but the truth is there will never be justice for cases like this one. Nothing will ever never be close to making it up for 19 years in prison.
Guys just imagine how strong he is !!! Imagine knowing that u didnt do it , and ur still in prison . He is strong and positive af ! God bless him and his family

how about at least 10 times this. Just saw in the news that 2 women were emotionally scarred a few years and received 75. They were not in jail. Their families not without them.
“All I wanna do is move forward, and get my life back.” Not bitter?? I’d be ready to sue and get some compensation. But I’m so proud that he is level headed and ready to reclaim his life. At least he’s only 36
Imagine being 16 and wrongfully accused of murder with a 19 year sentence. 16!! And they say in North America it’s “innocent until proven guilty.” (Especially for a case this big like wtf) I am in no way whatsoever trusting that statement anymore lmao💀
Like Eddie Murphy said “Seventy-five years. That's how much time you get if you're lucky. Seventy-five years. Seventy-five Winters. Seventy-five Springtimes. Seventy-five Summers. And Seventy-five Autumns. When you look at it like that, it's not a lot of time, is it? Don't waste them”.
Right? Sooner and later, the DA will soon face their own demons for sending a innocent person in prison for crime he didn't commit or do anything dangerous. I feel sorry for him.
That's nice, and I wish the best for him and his family. Also, I feel like when you're found innocent, after wrongfully being accused ,they should give you one million dollars for every year you're in prison. Money isn't everything, but this should teach them to get it right the first time.
Hope he can live a happy and healthy life with his family going forward. Lucky for him he is still only 36. He’s still young and I hope he’s living the best life.
May the Lord release him from the animosity that he may harbor because it can win over you if you let it.... also may the Lord richly bless him in a law suit of the grandest scale. 🙏

Literally I wanna see the evidence to this man being the accused one, like if they have that kind of proof then why not use it to find the actual culprit?
Sooner and later, the DA will soon face their own demons for sending a innocent person in prison for crime he didn't commit or do anything dangerous. I feel sorry for him.
Glad to see that a wrongfully convicted innocent man is finally released from prison but it’s still a shame that he was wrongfully convicted in the first place especially at just age 16.
When will this stop being wrongfully convicted? No amount of money if he gets compensated will amount to the time he and others has done for being wrongfully convicted.
being ACCIDENTLY convicted is ONE thing, being INTENTIONALLY targeted by corrupt DA is another matter altogether
Let me guess, the description was "black" 🤨
I know right? Sooner and later, they will soon face their own demons for sending a innocent person in prison for crime he didn't commit or do anything dangerous. I feel sorry for him.
@@sonicgalaxy27 that is me ! I DID commit a crime ! Contempt of Cop, LOL
Every conviction is deliberate, the standard of proof is without a reasonable doubt, and, the police and Prosecution lied to meet it.
Hope he gets some kind of compensation for this. Completely awful, happy he’s free!!
He probably will but no amount of money will take away the time and tramua of what happened
I can’t even imagine spending one day behind bars for something I didn’t do. But 20 YEARS?!?? Bless him. He seems to have a positive outlook for his future and I’m here for it .
I hope he sues the living daylights outta them . 20 years unbelievable

@@joshuavang5449 But much, mate.
The bad news is what did prison do to him because we know it changed him mentally!
Now the person that convicted him should spend 19 years in jail. Sad thing is this happens all too often and there is no consequences for the DA.
I know right? Sooner and later, they will soon face their own demons for sending a innocent person in prison for crime he didn't commit or do anything dangerous. I feel sorry for him and I bless him so much for his release.
And the real criminal is out and about
$10,000,000 settlement! This man did not deserve this. No one does. My heart breaks for him. God bless him.

Now that the radical corrupt left controls the Justice system, it's "Guilty until proven innocent."
So sad.. nothing can buy time.Thank God hes out♡

Ok that's good but what about the person who accused him?? What punishment will they deserve?? 🤔
Police should investigate to arrest and not arrest to investigate
They did. It’s the court system that failed him
Most Times its always guilty until proven innocent

Exactly. They got so much to learn.
20 years... thats crazy... good for him he endured life in prison
Hope he can live a happy and healthy life with his family going forward. Lucky for him he is still only 36. He’s still young and I hope he’s living the best life.
Now make this man a millionaire
😢😭😭 Bravo Marvin! Sending lots of love from South Africa. 🙏🤗😍😘😘🥰
Everyone in the footage got their hopes up and now he’s gonna spend time with his family for Christmas.
What did his criminal record look like before he went to prison?
No different to yours.
He looks like a Good man.. a strong man with a Lot of Wisdom.. I wish him the best. I'm sure he will make the most of the rest of his life
*20 years later*
Courts: "Oops, my bad"
all those years down the drain. thats just awful
Glad he has so many people who believed in him and waiting for him on the outside. You can tell they still kept up with him in prison. ❤
Agreed. At least some people like his friends and family got much kindness and compassion unlike the DA.
Dude has strength and the courage to succeed the rest of his life.
Wow what an incredible story he has a good heart most people would have went crazy after that🤔
SMH. Hope he lives a long life.
So you waste 20 years of a man's life just to tell him he doesn't look like the guy in the description
Happens a lot, people going down although they don’t match the description.
The most shocking thing is that this could have been solved on the same day he was wrongfully convicted if they actually looked at the evidence
I don’t know why they take eye witness testimonies to heart when people’s memories aren’t reliable
May the Lord release him from the animosity that he may harbor because it can win over you if you let it.... also may the Lord richly bless him in a law suit of the grandest scale. 🙏
Criminal how this happened
19 years, damn

Yes he comes out and finds a advanced world , with new technology etc . I hope he gets along with it
Imagine the amount of other people who lost years of their lives over crimes they did not commit. Scary.
Imagine what his mom first thought when she saw her 16 year old boy as a grown man.
What a smile, man doesn't even seem upset about it just looks happy that hes finally free
The state should pay him 19 million dollars, $1 million dollars for each year that he spent in prison 🤔
I'm so sorry, brother. We all failed you.
1:12 this part goes crazy
He should get a MINIMUM of $10 million for each year he was there but not even that will bring back the time he lost being away from his family.
Just terrible. Glad he’s finally free.
Dude, this is gonna be his best christmas ever.
I feel this happens way more than it should
This guy lost his entire life...he will live with this trauma forever. How horrible.
One word: give me my moneyyyyy😂😂😂
God Bless Him!
I just realized for every innocent conviction there’s someone who got away with a crime and living free….
Literally I wanna see the evidence to this man being the accused one, like if they have that kind of proof then why not use it to find the actual culprit?
@@thedman7305 the evidence for conviction is usually the witnesses who give the final push
"We put a man in jail back then. Oh he's out already? Eh, either way we get paid"
Omg thank God he's free. ❤ that's so sad he lost so many years 😢
This man has been in prison for more years than I have been alive. That is freaking scary!
150k for each year he was wrongfully behind bars. So 150k x 19 is 2.8m (no tax) since this is from state
He's not innocent he just got lucky they found a loophole like other people do this case is nothing special
You sure got that right ! Be nice to See some "street justice now."
Sooner and later, the DA will soon face their own demons for sending a innocent person in prison for crime he didn't commit or do anything dangerous. I feel sorry for him.
Live your best life, Marvin!!!!!
Sentence those detectives to 20 years in prison
He's getting paid i guarantee that
im19 cant imagine having my whole life behind bars
It's not a gift, it's an INJUSTICE!!!
I hope that he gets compensation for time served. I am so sorry sir for your wrongful doing. Congratulations sir on getting your freedom back.
20x year of his life wasted and he is still grateful!
He was just a child. Damn, he lost his entire life.
"Challenged the eye witness testimony" ? They could've done this 19 years ago wtf
19 years hellll nooo you better pay that men that is correct the judge needs to go to jail for 40 years
Judge down the line should do 19 years
Fantastic hes out deeply sorry he had to go through this
Wish the state was held responsible for this
Sue!!!!!!
God Bless 🙌 🙏....
19 years serving someone else's sentence 😢
Pls tell me that the state will re-compensate this financially for every single day and night he had to spend imprisoned !
Thank god!

This happens far too often... but people still wanna boot lick no matter what! smh
One of the reasons i wouldn’t wanna be a corrections officer is having to work with corrupt coworkers
Bless him!
God Bless You!
Did they ever catch the real murderer?
They must pay this man at least $20 million dollars
I hope he can adjust to life outside prison. The world has changed a lot in 19 years.
Psalm 33:5
The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.
The DA should go to jail for 20 years now.
Sad sitting in prison for so long being innocent
PAY THAT MAN!!!
I'm going to say something about this guy hopefully he finds peace after getting out of jail.
He pretty much served the entire sentenced since they didnt have solid proof
should pay this guy 19 million dollars
When will this stop being wrongfully convicted? No amount of money if he gets compensated will amount to the time he and others has done for being wrongfully convicted.
19 years in the slammer...that's a long time !
What a shame !!! Only in Murdersota !! Convicts set free and cops prosecuted !!!
Hes so positive ❤❤
My entire life this man has been locked up. May the best be upon him
God i truly pray that you continue to guide this man through life....🙏🏽
this man was in prison longer than ive lived and thats shocking.
Horrible
thats just wrong
Can you imagine if he actually did it and one day he got out and was like ohhhh shiet LOL
20 years wasted
That’s unbelievable Praise god to his release. Wow
That's like 40% of your life gone... And you only have one
