@@jenniferedwards6782 yeah thats so sad to know there are innocents out there behind bars, in Islam there is no difference between a black and white person, God only looks at our hearts and deeds ❤️😢
@@islamispeace3919 that's true but in America the system was geared against the Black in particular. In 1641 three indentured servants ran away.. Two ""White" and one "Black". When they were captured the judge sentenced the two 'Whites" to an extra year I'd servitude, but sentenced the "Black" to life. In 1656 a Slave woman named Elizabeth Key Grim stead won her freefom in court because although her mother was of African decent her father was European and under their law the child's status was based upon the status of the father and not the mother. The other thing in her favor was that she was baptized Into Christianity. After that ruling the legislators began working to change the laws and put new one in place over the next several years. One law was that claiming Christianity would no.longer be a passport to freedom. Another stated that if you were from a non Christian country and that if you were Molatto, Negro, Moor or Indian that you could be enslaved. And you were legally viewed as property and could be inherited just as if you were land or cattle or whatever kind of property left by the deceased. They also passed laws stating that the owner could not be held liable if he damaged or even killed his property. In 1857 the courts ruling on the Dred Scott cased made it clear that those of African origin were not, never were, and never could be a citizen of any state in the Union.( Keep in mind that was prior to the civil was in America). Later after the war discriminatory laws were put in place that were geared against Blacks in particular. Especially the Jim Crow laws in the South. Keep in mind that while Europeans came to the Americas on the May Flowers Enslaved Africans were brought over in chains in Slave ships. And because Slavery was legal, an entire group of people found themselves selves at odds with the law just by refusing to submit to an unjust system. In the Qur'an ALLAH swt says that oppression is worst than Slaughter. H.Q.2:191 also Muslims are told to fight oppression until it is no more. The two main reason to fight is against Aggression H.Q.2:190 and Oppression H.Q.2:191-193. And although the Religion of Al-Islam does not support racial discrimination. There are still ignorant people who call themselves Muslim s yet they still practice discrimination based on race and color and class etc... Prophet Muhammad pbuh had to deal with it during his life time and so do we today. As Salaamu Alaikum!!

I see alot of ppl saying ''he should be compensated for his time in prison'', however that's probably Not gonna happen...the way the law's written is...you can Only be compensated for wrongful conviction, if you can prove malice or something illegal was done in your trial...when you have a trial, they present the evidence they have and from That evidence a jury finds you guilty...then you Can't be compensated no matter the length of time you served...the Most you can get is...Exonerated or Pardoned...I know that's totally Unfair, a person Should be paid for sitting in jail for yrs, but we're talking about the US Government...they're Always gonna find a way to protect themselves...

Freedom isn't enough. This man deserves compensation and a free home with free utilities
Wow this is heart breaking, I can't imagine the anger that would be going through me
I hope he sues the pants off those responsible. I'm so sorry they did this to you. I wish you all the best Sir.
Most likely a waste of time. Doubt he would get the money even if he won. Good thing for the fundraiser
Don't feel sorry for him he's one of GODS chosen but you need to feel sorry and pity for your race if you know who GOD is and what he is planning to do to the white race its not good pray for your people sweetie because 🕙 time is ticking for the white race to be judged as an nation by GOD may u have favor just saying goodluck
“Pardoning him would not be a priority”. There’s so much ill in the American Justice system. It’s ridiculous.
Police and the court system Can never truly admit when they are wrong. That’s why they won’t compensate him.
@Dirty News you have no soul bruh. anything for views and likes smh.
👍I applaud the county prosecutor, Jean Peters Baker for standing up for what is right. Bless her.🙏💝
I live in missouri... she's trash for real... she did do good on this issue tho... so i give credit when it is do.... not onlydo i live in missouri i live in the county (jackson) where she holds office... kansas city... go chiefs...
@@malcolmkeith816 👍Thanks for the info. I can only imagine the two sides of the coin / two faces she has as do most of us. I don’t know anything about other than the good she did in this man’s case.💝
No I don't applaud no politician. The cream " being toffee on crime" but close there eyes when innocent people are locked up. And do nothing for years! That's not somthing to applaud.
This is so sad. The thought of so many innocent people locked up for so many years. This breaks my heart😢 Then they get out to nothing to live off on. 😢😢
This is so sad. I feel so bad for him and the loss of years he will never get back. Such a broken system
