      @Rosalee Smith Not always the other guy talked about in the video was on his 11th year and counting but he was freed on year 11. But Child rapist seem to get the fewest years for some stupid reason. It all depends on the Judge I believe. Some judges can give you more and some can give you less seems to be the trend. I don't think they're a consistent number for how long you can go to person for x crime. All I know is that crimes with a lot of publicity get more years too just cause everyone is watching. Like Harvey Weinstein. I'm pretty sure there are people just as bad as him not serving the same sentences.

    • @vegasjack60
      @vegasjack60 3 года назад +42

      It really wasn't a "line up". They reviewed pictures the policy conveniently place so the person they want to be identified is identified. You need to physically walk people in so the victim can see the height and build of the person. The person may look identical to the perpetrator but the height and/or build may be off. Police are corrupt and nothing will change until the Police Chiefs and District Attorneys decide to get rid of the dead weight...starting with themselves. We have power at the ballot box to get trustworthy DA's in office and get the bad apples out.

      I wonder what would have happened if both of the men had been on the photo line up. Would the victim have picked the right one? I think he had a good chance of being arrested and convicted anyway because his supposed doppelgänger was evil. He was probably no angel himself because I think that people with similar faces tend to have similar minds. How they're raised makes the difference.

    • @pgoddard803
      @pgoddard803 2 года назад +3

      @@plantmaster3339 Is this man black? He looks like a multiracial person to me. And whilst I'm not saying that the police were right, the reason why the "innocent black men" are in the system is because the black men who did the crimes allowed them to be by failing to confess when an innocent person was arrested and by committing the crimes in the first place.
      I'm not sure why you're being so racist as if there are absolutely no black people in the police force and as if other races (because again this man doesn't look black to me) don't get shafted too. Acting as if black people are the only victims of racism or injustice is racist too. Do you realise that?

Thats about the shittiest piece of comment that i v heard thus far.I mean, there is no fucking amount of money that s worth 17 years in prison for.Only a fucking junkie can come up with these kind or type of thoughts man.This guy could of been killed or could of been placed within a situation to actually have to kill someone to survive within that shit hole.I mean, are you realising what you are saying ? Spending 17 years confined to a cell with no space for ten million dollars its good and your also stating that hr probably wouldnt have made that amount in his entired life.I mean, being in the streets with your freedom, he had a better chance of making 100 million dollars as opposed to 10 millions dollars then he does or did in prison confined to a very small space, and last but not least-freedom doesnt have a fucking price.You will realize that once you are in there, but people who havent been through shit in life couldnt possibly even begin to comprehend or understand the concept of what it is like to be free and without any problems, and therefor are likely to take their stipulation for granted as opposed to being appreciative.
