Hi! I don’t know you and it’s random that you are in my algorithm but I am watching and praying for you. God bless you and I’m so sorry you are going through this ♥️
Morning Seth : Did you mention if docs gave you anti nausea meds ? I didnt want any meds ( at the beginning) I thought , nope I'm strong , I can hack it. Wrong . The anti nausea meds were/are a life saver . My nausea was and still is ( from time to time ) a killer . You're learning and you are a strong person , along with your chemo team and family to guide & vent or any questions to help you on this journey
I do have a couple of anti-nausea meds and take them when I need to. I'm finding that staying busy and keeping my mind occupied and not focused on physical discomfort really helps.
Nothing wrong with sleeping, I think I slept the whole last six weeks of chemo, no energy, bored, feeling like shit everyday, at least sleeping you did not have to suffer, and you are right, I don't know how women do it, I think if there was nothing to repair, or no grass to cut or bugs to kill, my wife wouldn't need me at all.
I still work and that really helps. I just have to double-check everything I do but it's teaching me to be more deliberate in what I do. My third cycle was significantly better than my third and I've yet to figure out why.
In pregnancy the only thing that helped my nausea at all was ginger capsules. They only took the edge off but when you’re so sick all the time any relief is helpful.
They serve rosehip tea in the hospital where my mother comes for chemo, a bit of relief. Also Ondansetron was prescribed, but I can't recommend that without medcare specialist's consultation.
I did get some but my nausea was managed pretty well by the meds. I'll try them if it get's bad this time. My lovely wife has bought so many ginger things I'm not sure what we have. Funny thing before all this happened we bought some organic ginger from the store and planted it and now have three ginger plants growing.

Also I only had one baby because the 24/7 nausea for months was debilitating. Don’t wish it on anyone!
Thanks for your kindness. To your other comment I have way more respect for women and what they endure.
