Great build! Only critique is you've installed the radiator upside down. Any air in the loop will settle at the top of the radiator, right where your inlet and outlet are located. Not sure if you could even mount it properly with those fans in push/pull because of the PSU shroud extending so far. IMO it's just better to mount radiators to the top of the case, even if you can't mount fans on both sides.
Thanks for the video. at 26:15 you calculate 35-40dB ambient room noise plus the PC noise to get 45dB. That is not correct. An increase of 3dB represents a doubling of sound level because dB (and human ears) are logarithmic. 2 42dB noise sources will produce 45dB, for instance. So if the room is 40dB, the computer is putting out about 43-44dB of noise, not 10dB. That's still quite impressive, though.
Thanks for the demonstration. We're really planning to buy the ProArt Z690 along with the highest hardware for Dental processes in our Clinic Antalya Turkey. Your video is very helpful..
just so everyone is aware, double stacking your fans on your rad in push pull configuration is cool, i myself like to do it just because im a power user, but thats about all that it dose... the rad dose not restrict fans ability to push air THAT MUCH and at most 1-2c it will lower your temps, it snot much and with the noise sometimes isnt worth it. and if you have the fans going at to much of diffrent speeds it can and will actually hurt airflow because the fan pushing air wont be able to push air through the pull fan
I can't believe you just stuck on 65k & not reached million subscribers. It's been a year I guess since I comment you'll reach million sub but hard work never fail hope you'll get million soon
Hi Mate Thanks for an always beautiful production. Did a build fairly similar to yours a few years ago... 9900K, 2080ti Strix, Samsung NVMe in the P600S. I can only agree to your comments regarding the case... Extremely easy to build inside, very intuitive routing using the clever harnesses, and the build quality is just top notch. I used an 280mm AIO and 140mm Noctua iPPC 2000rpm fans(also push/pull) everywhere they could be fitted, which have proven very effective. I've taken both the front and top panel off, to increase the airflow. Noise is what it is.... I don't mind the current level. I later switched the GPU to a RTX8000 and added a 3090 Strix. Upgraded the PSU to a "Shut your face" Sith Lord 1500w, which is a solid gem. Sadly, the MoBo and P600S combination yielded some fairly high temps on the 3090, as it is very close the "psu shroud", so I've just upgraded the system to an Alder Lake and switching to your Threadripper build case... Fractal Torrent. I hope this will provide more air to the GPU's. Anyways.. thanks again for your awesome videos! I only have 1 gripe, and that's the orientation of the AIO tubes (up). I understand that it may not be an issue for that specific AIO, but it could be causing the fairly high temps on your CPU. Arrgghhh... 2nd gripe... Did you not find/mount the GPU ANTI-SAG BRACKET that is included with the P600S!?!? ; D Take care, and all the best... DD
First of all, thank you for the valuable information. I built the same computer with the ASUS ProArt Creator Z790 and the i9 13900KS. Tell me please, are the 6 fans in the front all connected together or is it 2 times 3 fans connected? And where do they go on the motherboard. CPU_FAN and CPU_OPT for each 3 fans and the AIO pump in on the AIO_HEADER... I can't see the activity of the 6 fans in the BIOS even though the fans are spinning... What can be the reason? Since the wiring was not moderated in the video, I have no idea how you did it and I just connected all 6 fans together. Before I dismantle the whole thing to separate the fans, I thought I would ask you first. Thank you for taking the time to answer.
Hi, i want to ask why are yoj using pcie nvme ssd and why not sata ssd. Using pcie nvme m.2 will reduce pcie lanes ( meaning cant use max out on graphic card). Correct, if i am wrong.

We have been waiting for MANY years for an EXPERT creator video blog like this one !!! Congrats !!! Bravo !!! Really appreciate the Premiere Pro rendering, editing, and output stats because most of editors use Premiere Pro so we can really learn how to optimize our systems in order to work smarter and faster. TIME is the factor in video editing. With HUGE gratitude for ALL your hard work, serious thought in planning, and finishing with "GOLD CLASS" :-) Keep these MEGA great vids coming in 2020 please. This is also so so good to bring Intel back into the game and keep competition high between AMD and Intel which will benefit us consumers in "bang for the buck" tooooo :-) 🙏🙏👌👌👍👍🌈🌈😊
1:15 Thanks for mentioning this, since I'm not into video-editing, but seriously thinking about this for music production for years to come. Without ghe graphics card, of course, since I don't need that for audio. Yay!
I'm putting together my editing machine with Intel i9-13900KS, ProArt Z790 motherboard and Asus RTX 4090. The Gen 5 PCIe slot is taken by HighPoint 7540 NVMe RAID because it requires all 16 lanes to perform at top read/write speed. This will force me to mount the 4090 onto the Gen 4 PCIe which only has 4 lanes. Yes, 4. Is that going to be enough for this card to run at all? How much performance power will it lose?
Love the details in this video, is it safe to use Air Cooler on Core i9? I building a new setup of Core i7 14700K and everyone is telling me to use AIO 360 ??? Please explain why are you using Air Cooler?? Thanks
Thanks man, I’ve been looking for a pc alternative to the max studio m2 max or ultra. Looks like I can get this setup for under 4k. Does anyone know if this will be faster than an m2 ultra studio? Not the most tech savvy person here. Mainly use premiere pro, ableton, izotope and Lightroom/photoshop
Does the power supply not need its fan airflow? I've purchased the equipment you've used here, and it's clear the Thor's fan will go up against the case "floor" if oriented correctly so the display shows. Is that not an issue?
Hi, great configuration and fantastic video. Just a technical doubt: may the three M2 socket be ready for thre seaparate OS boot? Usually I install my machine with independent operating systems available, Linux distro, Win OS , sometimes add a Hachintosh builded too. Thank you in advance.
Sorry to bombard you with yet another question but I finally got my hands on a set of 3 Phanteks t30s to put on my glacier one that's mounted up front exactly like you have . Question is would you recommend I have the fans on the inside of the radiator or on the outside? Right now the 3 noktua fans I'm replacing on my aio is outside the radiator (closest to the front of the case) blowing air through the radiator.
Is Corsair HX850 power supply a good choice with 1 - (Asus ProArt Z690 Creator ) motherboard 2 - RTX A4000 Corsair and Corsair 3 - iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler?
Wow what a build and especially for video and photo editing in which mine would mainly be for. How has this build stood up against others a year or so later? Would be very interesting to see. I’m in the process at the moment to build my next one to support more video later
Question, I have noticed this AIO is making a strange howling wind sound. The fans themselves are quiet (using 3 chromax ones) and I don't hear the sound when I stop all three fans. Once they go there is a subtle oscillating wavy sound. Almost like the sound of wind you hear from an underpass of howling wind off and on when the wind is heavy outside. Any clue as to what can be done to minimize it? The AIO is front mounted like you have, but the fans are on the case side. I had a local computer company build for me and it's great other than this subtle wind noise.
Hi, I've been following you for a long time, I want to ask you two questions, the first question is why don't you install nvme on the fourth nvme slot and put it in raid0 with the third nvme? The second question is if you install the nvme on all slots and on the first pci and ex the GPU, there is a loss of pci lines or the processor manages the first slot and the first pci slot for the GPU and the other slots for the nvme manages it the Chipset?
SSD question: First time builder here. Great videos/channel! I’m building this almost to spec as you have it for use to video edit/motion graphics/3D graphics. I chose to use the Cardea SSD and just one FireCuda (for now anyway). I ordered them and just realized that I ordered a different FireCuda than what you are using. I’m now thoroughly confused of the difference and if it’s worth returning what I ordered and paying an extra $200. 1) (what I ordered) Seagate FireCuda 530 ZP2000GM3A013 2 TB Solid State Drive - M.2 2280 Internal - PCI Express NVMe (PCI Express NVMe 4.0 x4) - $350 2) Seagate FireCuda 530 2TB Solid State Drive - M.2 PCIe Gen4 ×4 NVMe 1.4, speeds up to 7300 MB/s, Compatible PS5 Internal SSD, 3D TLC NAND, 1275 TBW, 1.8M MTBF - $530 They both say speeds of up to 7300MB/s, so I’m lost as to what would be more preferred and why. $200 difference is a lot! Please help me wrap my head around this because references I find to help me understand tend to confuse me as they pertain to these 2 specific drives. Does the more expensive one have a longer life span? Why the major difference in cost? Thanks for the help!!
Thank you I build it and I love it... great machine Im using NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1070 Ti and it work great I took your advice, at the time the cost a litle over 3grant

Total greenhorn here, Q on fans. Are all 6 radiator fans daisy chain together and then connect to one header on Mobo? Or are they 3 front rad chained and 3 rear rad chained and connected to 2 separate headers on Mobo? Are 2 fans top/1 fan on back all daisy chained together or all separately connected to Mobo? Thanks for any help, first time build!

@@theTechNotice Wow thank you for your superfast reply, infact that's exactly what i want to know because in the last comparison between the ProArt and Aero Motherboard you shared that Aero was better and so i got confused cause Adobe CC subscription is not our priority now... Why do you opt for the slower ssd to not be the os? I am just wondering because I know you said the latency is slower otherwise. I am building this exact pc because of you.
Hi there, did you ever have any overheating issue with the Asus Thor PSU in combination with this case? I bought both and I am worried that when pointing the Fan upwards to see the LCD Display, that it will not get cooled properly enough. What are your experiences with your build?
I purchased all of the same components and I am building the same system. I have a question. On the case there is a PWM fan distribution block that is powered. Do you recommend using that for all the fans? Or do you recommend plugging the fans directly into the individual PWM fan headers on the motherboard?
I can see your concern and I had it as well, but there is about an inch cap between the top of the PSU and the case and the front fans for the radiator will blow cool air underneath the PSU shroud as well, so no problems there. It has a 0 RPM mode as well that you can switch on/off :)
The fan will turn on automatically when it needs cooling down even with 0 RPM mode. And yes usually PSU is faced down, but then our display would also be facing down. 😉
Would you recommend 6 Noctua NF-F12 fans as a replacement to the stock fans on the Phanteks Glacier One? I can't find the T30s at the moment unfortunately.
I plan on doing almost the exact same build but with the Fractal Design Define 7 XL case. Do you know if the Phanteks cooler and it's six fans on it will fit with this case and MB combo? Thanks!
I just tested my first build ever, thanks for your videos, LianLi case with LianLi 360 Galahad AIO UNI FAN SL Edition, 12900k, 32Gb DDR5, use my "old" Asus RTX 2060 Super, (Samsung 980 Pro, Seasonic TX Titanium 1000w) . The reading in Multi was 26,458pts and 1951 in single core. In multi core the temperature was +/- 55~60C at the peak of the test. and 35C in single core. Idle is 20~22C. Compare with your test here I think mine is alright. I'm zero tech and very happy of my first ever build. Thanks

Not sure if you could even mount it properly with those fans in push/pull because of the PSU shroud extending so far. IMO it's just better to mount radiators to the top of the case, even if you can't mount fans on both sides.
Doing it the other way means that air goes into the pump instead and destroys it. I'd rather refill the rad than that...
Awesome build! Only remark is the GPU sag. Might want to find something to prop up the GPU.
Amen!
Just finished my build. It's incredible! I'm use to work on a Mac Pro, but this!! Thanks goes to you Tech Notice...
😉😇
Hi Mate
Thanks for an always beautiful production.
Did you not find/mount the GPU ANTI-SAG BRACKET that is included with the P600S!?!? ; D
Take care, and all the best...
Thank you for taking the time to answer.
can you make a video on how you connected all of the cables to the motherboard. Your videos are giving me confidence to build my own pc.
yes.i hope the same Tech Notice can show how to connected that all cables , try to build one same like him but dont know how to connect all that cable
Isn't the AIO pump should be at the bottom instead (tube side down) ?
Is there any way you can describe or a link to the cablemod set you used in this pc built ? Many thanks for a great build !
Hi, i want to ask why are yoj using pcie nvme ssd and why not sata ssd. Using pcie nvme m.2 will reduce pcie lanes ( meaning cant use max out on graphic card). Correct, if i am wrong.
Does putting an nvme ssd drive in slot M.2_1 steal speed from the GPU x16 express slot? Should we put the system nvme drive in slot m.2_2?
Does chipset or audio codec have any effect on quality of audio recording in a professional recording studio. Pl. explain in details.
Nice selection of PC parts. Nice curation of words.
Very good video, I enjoyed it. Thank you.
edit: 6:22 "With DDR5, there's a lot of initial platform adoption issues."
Thank you for identifying that.
Opps. Sorry I meant 2022 :-) :-)
😄
1:15 Thanks for mentioning this, since I'm not into video-editing, but seriously thinking about this for music production for years to come. Without ghe graphics card, of course, since I don't need that for audio. Yay!
You are the "Marco Pierre White" with tutorrials.
Straight to the point and no clowning arround!
😇
Great work 👍
I'm putting together my editing machine with Intel i9-13900KS, ProArt Z790 motherboard and Asus RTX 4090.
I am still waiting on the Phanteks Glacier One 360MP, but I was wondering does it come with the CPU mounting bracket?
In a year or two I will definitely be making a gold and black water cooled build with this product line
Is Corsair HX850 power supply a good choice with
1 - (Asus ProArt Z690 Creator ) motherboard
2 - RTX A4000 Corsair and Corsair
3 - iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler?
yeah!
Thank you for including music composer's in your review
Wow what a build and especially for video and photo editing in which mine would mainly be for. How has this build stood up against others a year or so later? Would be very interesting to see. I’m in the process at the moment to build my next one to support more video later
Isn’t this configuration will pull hot air as there is a radiator in front?
Question, I have noticed this AIO is making a strange howling wind sound. The fans themselves are quiet (using 3 chromax ones) and I don't hear the sound when I stop all three fans. Once they go there is a subtle oscillating wavy sound. Almost like the sound of wind you hear from an underpass of howling wind off and on when the wind is heavy outside. Any clue as to what can be done to minimize it? The AIO is front mounted like you have, but the fans are on the case side. I had a local computer company build for me and it's great other than this subtle wind noise.
Does the glacier one come with lga 1700 bracket or you order it online?
Do you recommend using the PWM header on the motherboard for the AIO pump? Or should we use the AIO header on the motherboard for the AIO pump?
Hi Tech Notice. I've build this one. Which NAS driver would you recomend? Do I need to think about I got DDR5? Can't spend to much at the time.
Hello, thank you for your videos, they are very informative, I only wanted to know if this motherboard can be used without a GPU?
can you game with that card also? I'm scared to get to powerful a card or to weak a card
Many Thanks
Great Work
I watched this video many times
helpful, useful and wonderful
SSD question: First time builder here. Great videos/channel! I’m building this almost to spec as you have it for use to video edit/motion graphics/3D graphics. I chose to use the Cardea SSD and just one FireCuda (for now anyway). I ordered them and just realized that I ordered a different FireCuda than what you are using. I’m now thoroughly confused of the difference and if it’s worth returning what I ordered and paying an extra $200.
1) (what I ordered) Seagate FireCuda 530 ZP2000GM3A013 2 TB Solid State Drive - M.2 2280 Internal - PCI Express NVMe (PCI Express NVMe 4.0 x4) - $350
2) Seagate FireCuda 530 2TB Solid State Drive - M.2 PCIe Gen4 ×4 NVMe 1.4, speeds up to 7300 MB/s, Compatible PS5 Internal SSD, 3D TLC NAND, 1275 TBW, 1.8M MTBF - $530
They both say speeds of up to 7300MB/s, so I’m lost as to what would be more preferred and why. $200 difference is a lot! Please help me wrap my head around this because references I find to help me understand tend to confuse me as they pertain to these 2 specific drives. Does the more expensive one have a longer life span? Why the major difference in cost? Thanks for the help!!
Hhmmm, now I'm seeing that both on Amazon have the same product # (ZP2000GM3A013). So maybe they're the same?? But why such a large cost difference?
One has heatsink for ps5 compatible one doesn’t
Thank you I build it and I love it... great machine Im using NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1070 Ti and it work great I took your advice, at the time the cost a litle over 3grant
Is this a good build for gaming and cad drawing (revit, autocad and inventor)? any other motherboard recommendations?
Hi I just finished build a PC following your list of components. I am running on Windows 10. However, i got random lockup from time to time, mouse and keyboard no response, had to do a hard reset. Try resintall Windows but no luck. May i know if you also experience the same problem? Anything i am missing here?
Will Seagate Firecuda 530 with a heatsink work on this build? I have not received the part yet and wanted to know if I needed to cancel it.
Thanks for all of your videos, you do a great job.
I'd return it and get the non heatsink one, no need to pay extra for that.
any problems with the ddr 5 ram compatibility on that motherboard. I'm thinking of getting that motherboard
Thank you for your videos. I was researching for what custom PC to go with and your content was a massive help for making the choice.
12900k
RTX3090
128GB DDR4 RAM
SEAGATE FIRECUDA 530 GEN
Corsair 5000D Airflow Case
I do a lot of video editing in after effects and am now making 3d content with blender. Very happy with the performance of the PC. Needed the upgrade.
I'm doing a similar build, could you share what motherboard did you go with?
Which creator build is best for professional studio recording+ music production ( + 120 tracks). X570 creator or Proart z690 creator. Pl. suggest.
Have a look at my DAW build :)
Ok guys I have a problem. I have bought 6 t30, can I chain 3 of these in one pwm header or I need a fan controller? (All in performance mode, so 0.36x3=1.08A it will be ok?)
How often should you disable the system in clean your fans? Very green horn just getting into the pc building.
Depends on your house/room.... Once a year?
Thanks for providing nice informative videos. i really appreciate you to keep going....
What system requirements needed to go live streaming through zoom meeting software?
I have 4k logitech brio webcam, obs, i5 laptop (my laptop model no : dell latitude E7270, intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6300U CPU @2.40GHZ, 2501Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical pr.....

But I'm facing streaming issues.
1) My streaming time will be atleast 2-3 hours, so after few minutes, black screen and video keeps switching.
2) webcam quickly heating

4) video flickering issue, I switching 50 hz, will resolving this issue.
So pls help me
DAAAAM, I was all set to do a white built, I think I need this board. I suppose I can do a black+gold+white build.
I jsut ordered this motherboard. Will it work with the new IP 13900k?
That's a massive case! Got the same one for my old TR system, can certainly hold a lot of fans. Nice to see Intel making a comeback, now to see what AMD delivers next.
Indeed 😇
can you recommend a gpu for that motherboard that's cheaper than $2000? I'm trying to build my first build and I'm on a budget.
FanTASTIC! Thank you. I have a 3080FTW and I may use your case, supply, 12900K etc. also. Very good, beautiful build!
Answered it on the upcoming Q&A vid
@@theTechNotice Great, thanks for the reply. I got the answer, just as you said. Love the your vids, subscribed!
Nice presentation. I am running large number of virtual machines in Vmware Workstation on my desktop. Can you suggest CPU mobo combination in a budget of $1600. Does GPU help in anyway in virtualization?
Why not SaS for the HDDs? Twice the R/W speed for the cost of the PCIe board?
Your work is Amazing!! I built this build with the RTX 3080 OC ROG STRIX/ 2 x32 Corsair Vengeance Ram . I went with the Samsung 1TB SSD OS Drive. Adding a 2TB Project drive. Was wondering if you would you put your programs (Adobe lightroom/Premier Pro) in the OS Drive or the Project Drive? Do you have a process for transferring your project files to the "Archive Drive." to make space on the project drive? I was hoping you had a video on your storage process recommendations. Thanks!!!
Can we use air cooler instead of liquid cooling?
So the i9 won't overheat when apply heavy programming applications or premier pro?
Great video guys! Love it! Triggers my interest on building my own PC again. Good job! 😀👍
How much is that hole computer and do you sale them already built?
This is great stuff. I purchased almost exactly the same parts to build this! One question, how would one setup a cache drive ssd for this setup? Thank you so much!
Would it even be POSSIBLE to cool the APU withOUT an AIO? Would, say a: "Scythe Mugen 5 Rev.C" heat pipe fan assembly work/fit? Thanks for a great build and tutorial! Would love to build one of these for myself (someday... still need both my kidneys at the moment) and a little jittery with water around my electronics! Thanks again! Just Super!
looking for those Exact Same Colors for my system. Do you have a link? I reached out to Cable Mod but they have a bright yellow, now Gold. Any suggestions?
You have to select PRO cables and the upper choice of colours then you have gold available:)
@@theTechNotice OK thanks. I'll try that now
How come you don't show bios settings because some 690 motherboards and windows 11 or 10 and M.2 are not showing up? You have to change it to UEFI from legacy or something that of nature. Do you have any videos on that particular topic?
Hi how does the Asus ProArt Z690 compare with the hardware specs of Gigabyte Aero Z690 (I have seen the Older Aero model review but not found your take on this particular comparison)
I've got a video coming out about the Aero D, but they're very similar, but in terms of Features Asus Z690 Proart has more.
@@theTechNotice Wow thank you for your superfast reply, infact that's exactly what i want to know because in the last comparison between the ProArt and Aero Motherboard you shared that Aero was better and so i got confused cause Adobe CC subscription is not our priority now...
I am making a Creator Video Editing Premier Pro & After Effects PC with a good scope for any future upgrades
So willing to invest in a 12900K + 64GB DDR5 with good Creator Motherboard and decent GPU. Dont want an AIO for either the CPU or GPU so was also wondering if it will create any problems
So far no problems, there is actually a gap in between the top of the PSU and the case.
wow, that was insane. Thanks for this!
Good quality videos 🔥.. subscribed
I purchased all of the same components and I am building the same system. I have a question. On the case there is a PWM fan distribution block that is powered. Do you recommend using that for all the fans? Or do you recommend plugging the fans directly into the individual PWM fan headers on the motherboard?
Both are fine:)
I use a x299 asus 4x m2 hyper drive and I get 13000 read write for davinci 17.
Does more cores and more remake better for photo and video and music?
The psu is placed with fan pointing up and the case hasn't holes for air intake. Could it heat? Is the fan set in always on or in hybid mode?
I can see your concern and I had it as well, but there is about an inch cap between the top of the PSU and the case and the front fans for the radiator will blow cool air underneath the PSU shroud as well, so no problems there. It has a 0 RPM mode as well that you can switch on/off :)
@@theTechNotice Usually you want the PSU fan facing down
@@theTechNotice So, bottom line, do you suggest turning on PSU fan or might front flow be enough for the power supply?
The fan will turn on automatically when it needs cooling down even with 0 RPM mode.
And yes usually PSU is faced down, but then our display would also be facing down. 😉
@@theTechNotice Oh yeah. Kind of a design flaw. Great PSU, but if you can't have it upside down might be bad
Would you recommend 6 Noctua NF-F12 fans as a replacement to the stock fans on the Phanteks Glacier One? I can't find the T30s at the moment unfortunately.
Go for the NF-a12x25 fans from noctua.
@@theTechNotice thank you!
I plan on doing almost the exact same build but with the Fractal Design Define 7 XL case. Do you know if the Phanteks cooler and it's six fans on it will fit with this case and MB combo? Thanks!
Yep, will fit no problem.
Thanks
got video? will like to see your pc maybe want to build one
Hi! Cool video. And what have you finally done with XMP profiles and 4 sticks? You left them on defalut or what? Or it worked with XMP and 4 modules of theese 5200s??
Nope doesn't work with 4 sticks, XMP is off ;) running at 4000MHz for now.
Great stuff as always! Thanks!
