Fractal knocked it out of the park with the North and the fact that the pro art boards make a great combination visually even to someone like me that doesn't really care about that kind of thing pretty much says it all. My only complaint is it's sometimes harder to find the mesh panel version of the North (at least in black).
Absolutely gorgeous build! You really can't go wrong with that Fractal North. I built with it back in March of this year using the ProArt Creator Wifi Z790 with the I5-13600k and the Zotac RTX 4070ti. I used a top mounted Cooler Master ML240 Illusion cooler. All the RGB is set to match the gold on the motherboard like you did and the gold on the Zotac matched well, too. I vertically mounted the GPU give it more of a "creator" look and less of a "gaming" look. It's all worked out well and the ML240 keeps it plenty cool.
Hey mate, the reason why your AIO is making more noise is because you have the pump/block too high specially having the tubes going down, air will get trapped either in the pump or the top region of the rad ( btw you said 35gb sticks xD )
I'm more likely to build a system into one of those old eMachine "NEVER OBSOLETE" cases. They can still be found in the closets of many homes today. Nobody would want to steal it either. Comedic value is what I plan on but that is one VERY clean looking system. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and to me, this one screams class. First word that comes to mind is whiskey (I don't drink anymore).
1) You should have the radiator in/out above the pump always ! 2) You make priority cooling to CPU with radiator in front. With gaming, you must fix it in the top to make priority to GPU !

Nonsense. The top of the radiator is still higher than the pump block. This is the ideal orientation when a top mount isn't possible. Flipping it can work fine but increases the likelihood of air getting pulled thru the barbs, especially as fluid permeates. The effect of the lines being below the pump should be negligible. In either orientation, one line is either pulled or pushed against gravity which a typical AIO should have no problem with. Now there is always the chance of air getting caught in the block regardless. You could manually move the block around to get it out before mounting. Rotating the pump block so air can escape into the outlet could also be beneficial but you'd still want the tubes at the bottom of the rad. TLDR: Avoiding air accumulating in the pump should always be the priority.
Tubes are supposed to go at the bottom, because the opposite part has the air pocket, which should always be above the pump... I also don't understand why that would put more strain on the pump, the amount of water that needs to be moved is the same and the fluid must be moved (in height) by the same distance in either of the two vertical orientations (this is a situation where the fluid is in a state of constant speed). So, the only difference would be when the pump needs to accelerate the flow of the fluid, and I'm not sure if that would even make a difference

Pretty sure he did something similar.. might have been the 4090 though. The XTX got stunted on in the blender benchmarks. Like the Nvidia was 200-250% better. Everything else was like 5-10% difference, which I could live with given the price difference, but that Blender score, the gap was just too big. Pity too, because I was looking at the XTX because of DP2.1 for the 32" 240Hz 4K OLEDs coming next year (ASUS, AW and Samsung have announced some).
I will be doing a full pro art build when the 5000 series Nvidia cards come out. I want something that looks like this. You make the best looking pc's.

I just upgraded from 9th gen (9900KS) with DDR4 to 14th gen (14900K worth it for my situation) with DDR5. Bought x2 32GB DIMM kits for 64GB System ram and discovered you can't run XMP with 4 sticks with DDR5. Ram drops down to 4000MT/s with that much RAM installed. My old GSkill Trident Z Royal was overclocked to 3600 MT/s. So, I'm technically faster than my old DDR4. I don't know how much of a difference 4000 MT/s would be to say 7800 MT/s using DDR5. I may send these kits back and try to find x2 32GB sticks but the new build seems to be snappy and fast enough for my music production and 4K gaming needs.
@@groenevinger3893 I've been looking for 2 stick DRAM kit that have 64GBs of storage and they are pretty rare; and the ones that do exist have MT speeds near 4800 anyways. Does anybody make a temperature probe that you can put in line or on a water block to see the true water temperature? And also if you’re doing a custom waterloop why can’t you just put two radiators at the bottom of the case where they can’t be seen and configure them in a push pull.

There are some y cables that would have saved you on that last fan on the back. It may be looked clean but that's an important fan place...
I chose 2x32 64gb 6000 on 14900k for my first actual l creator pc. However I would have done 13900k but they were sold out so I said just get it over with. I bought 990 pro also for my project drive.
Currently building my first PC thanks to your channel! Im using a Gigabyte z790 aorus master X with an i7-14700k and two 1TB SSD's, one a gen 4 Cardea z440 and the other a gen 5 T-force z540 with a Gigabyte RTX3060 12gb gpu. My question is this, the manual for the motherboard says if I use the 5.0 M2 slot it will reduce my pciex16 to x8. Should I put the SSD there or in one of the other M2 slots? I am learning CAD and 3d modeling, will not be doing any gaming on it.
While AIO coolers obviously look amazing it's worth noting you can air cool a 14600K without issue since it's well under 200W. Even a mid spec air cooler like a Dark Rock 4 will effortlessly cool a sub 200W CPU and be more quiet at it too. Anyway, just something to note, beautiful build though!

I bought the same MB ProArt B760 yesterday, but I bought an i9 13900k and the GPU was a ProArt RTX4070, my question is, does this card and Motherboard support an i9? Excellent video thank you very much!
You have to match Ram Speed, not only for the Motherboard but also for the CPU you using. You using an older CPU 6000mhz ram will probably be to much as why it crashes
noob question, if i use it for gaming, and im talking max settings gaming, and content creation will it lean more on the creation side in terms of performance?
I'm planning on building something like this after Arrow lake/ ZEN 5 comes out, with 15900K/8950x and Z890/X770e Motherboard, 96gb DDR5, 4070 ti super and 2*2TB Solidigm p44 Pro the 1KW dark power 13 That I have and custom cooling for the CPU with copper pipe, gold-plated fittings and the EK-Quantum Velocity² Lignum Edition. ps. The custom water cooling makes sense for what I do.
Wish they made an itx proart mobo. Ended up going Asus B760-I. Funny booting it up and seeing an rog logo but for a photo editing pc. We also got that exact proart 16gb 4060ti and really were not sure if that was the right move.
I recently made my first PC using components what you had used in one of your video. And it is was awsome experience. My current issue is I want to turn it ON/OFF remotely using my cheaper laptop because the PC uses alot of energy. Is there any tool so that we can able to turn ON/OFF our computer remotely? It would be awsome if u also make one video about it :)
@@landkart7233 Then we probably have completely different ideas about what “quiet” means. My trinity is louder at min rpm (1000) than my AIO at 100% CPU load.
@@BBFPV something has to be wrong with your trinity or maybe rtx 4080 super variant is different? i could not even hear the gpu and i am sensitive to noise too
@@landkart7233 It's only a 4070S, I had one from Gigabyte now and the Trinity is already the second one, the first one had a defect. Both had at least one fan with a cracking bearing but you can hardly hear it. Both have badly balanced fans which makes the whole case vibrate slightly. But I managed to solve this with tape. But in terms of pure air noise, all the graphics cards are louder than my AIO and the case fans together. This could have been improved with better fans and probably a little more distance to the cooling fins.
Wow I'm building a new machine right now to run Linux Mint, OBS and DaVinci Resolve Studio. This video is very helpful and I'm planning on the Z790 but now have to re-think it. Before yesterday I didn't think you could buy anything that's not geared for gamer's especially NVIDIA. Nothing against gamer's but not everyone on the planet is a gamer so I was amazed to see a MB for Creators! So I love the memory sticks you show but on Amazon and they have the size options but not sure how to sort the Styles? Does that have something to do with when you say don't go for the fastest depending on your setup?
Is there any possibility that 14th gen will be able to run 4x16 Gb at 6000 Mhz with a bios update? I know it's on the IMC to keep those speeds, but AMD somehow managed...
@@ommenerd3793 Well just from watching other videos and reading the comment sections, mostly the reason people seem to ask about 4 dimms is either a) aesthetics or b) thinking brought over from DDR4 and DDR5 is a different beast. You can run 2x32 and 2x48 at 8000MT or close to, on the right Z790 board. Go check Frame Chasers or Buildzoid's channels for info on that. You will not get that performance with 4 dimms at this point in time and performance over aesthetics any day. Since my next build will be on AM5 that doesnt apply (there is no real world performance gain between like 6000 and 8000 on AMD, buildzoid has the explanation for this) and I am looking on running 4x48 anyway.
Now there is a thing, this is almost the pc I have just built. 14600k 64gb 6000 g skill, gigabyte z790 elite AX X an the 16gb 4060ti 16gb. I think the 4060ti 16gb will have better resale value (time will tell)

Sorry, won’t try to change your mind. I just bought the 4060ti Pro Art GPU. It is stunning. ☝️☝️
Just wish these things come in ITX and/or low profile form factor.
You have to match Ram Speed, not only for the Motherboard but also for the CPU you using. You using an older CPU 6000mhz ram will probably be to much as why it crashes
I learned the hard way. Installing a WiFi 6e m.2 card into a z790 lightning d4 without WiFi. You can easily break the wires.
noob question, if i use it for gaming, and im talking max settings gaming, and content creation will it lean more on the creation side in terms of performance?
Is the 4080 pro art a silent card?
any 4080 is silent i believe, i am running zotac white rtx 4080 super, and its mega quiet even on 100% load (150 watts)
@@landkart7233 Then we probably have completely different ideas about what “quiet” means. My trinity is louder at min rpm (1000) than my AIO at 100% CPU load.
@@BBFPV something has to be wrong with your trinity
or maybe rtx 4080 super variant is different?
i could not even hear the gpu and i am sensitive to noise too
@@landkart7233 It's only a 4070S, I had one from Gigabyte now and the Trinity is already the second one, the first one had a defect.
I was waiting for that cooler to fall over on top of your motherboard. Glad it didn’t!
Cooler pump will die pretty fast ,,TOP ( tube connect) MUST always be higher than pump head
The matchy-matchy looks sweet. Next you need to get into hard tubing and venture away from AIOs. 👍😎
The pump needs to be the lowest point of AIO... I/O should be on the top of the case, not at the buttom
No Xforma case?
Can we install intel i9 14th gen on asus proart z790 wifi creator? Cause on website they mentioned only 12th & 13th gen that's why
@theTechNotice why not using an X670E or Z790 with two 4060 ti 16gb ? Seems like a great dual GPU solution with a lot of vram for designers? :)
Is there any possibility that 14th gen will be able to run 4x16 Gb at 6000 Mhz with a bios update? I know it's on the IMC to keep those speeds, but AMD somehow managed...
4x16 for DDR5 is silly. If you going to have 96GB or less run 2 sticks, always. It's just better.
@undefwun2135 it's a matter of initial budget, if the person could do it from from the start this wouldn't be a concern
I don't think you can get the same data in the ddr4 format.... They look very different
Now there is a thing, this is almost the pc I have just built. 14600k 64gb 6000 g skill, gigabyte z790 elite AX X an the 16gb 4060ti 16gb. I think the 4060ti 16gb will have better resale value (time will tell)
Why on earth add the 2nd 8pin for the gpu if it’s never being used?
Did you not see me explain this in the video? :)
@@theTechNoticeso I believe it’s because you didn’t have time to get a new cable. But my question is, that dual cable that used to - can’t the 2 8pins be separated?
Another question if you don’t mind, does that dual cable have a 16pin cable comb on it? If so, where did you get that?
