Kenny Wayne Shepherd is definitely up high on the blues rock legends list too, but SRV opened the gates for KWS with his genius. Going to see Kenny finally in a few months. It's interesting how many better songs than "Pride and Joy" Stevie had, but that's the main song you hear places more than any other front him

I often hear people talk of how Stevie played his soul. Truth is he played our soul. He had a way of plugging in a Strat and with his unreal tone, skill and a gift only known to God of laying it down to our soul. I'll never not miss him. I'll always believe that the Angels needed him for a gig.

There are other versions of this he's done for like 13 minutes where his shredding is insane. I love this one because of his vocals! Goosebumps from head to toe.....I am with you. I will never not miss him as well. Thankfully we have all his songs & some great videos to console us a little. I appreciated your great response! 😊👍👌
