This(for me) was the peak of F1. A perfect blend of old and modern. The cars still sounded great, were still loud, raw and a hand full at times. They were relatively small and tight compared to todays F1 cars. Yeah they lacked H pattern gearboxes, but they made up for it by being more difficult to drive in other ways, with blistering acceleration and crazy Gs in the corners. Very powerful and mean sounding. I miss the screaming V10s.
Agree 100%
I aree but I must say narrow track and grooved tyres really suck
I agree. Today's cars are more like moving computers rather than actual cars.
@@carlogiacometti1996 I disagree. More power, less grip. That's a perfect combination.
This.
This onboard cam rocks! What a high speed lap
BMW delivered, Williams didn't 😆
Imagine if Sir Frank had sold the team to them....Sauber never had the personnel to challenge early on in BMW ownership and they still managed a win.
@@alhemmings8554 williams had tje powerful bmw engine, and two legendary pilots but the team dont enough for the vicror6
Hmm kinda, didn’t BMW have several blow ups in 2003? Certainly I remember one at Austria.
2nd in constructors, car was a monster
Montoya the best
Imola and magny cours have to be bring in f1 calendar!
Done
@@santifernandeznabal7426 we still need magny cours
@@chadchadison2591 true :(
@@chadchadison2591 I love Magny Cours but I think nowadays would be almost impossible to overtake in such a narrow track
@@chadchadison2591 better than Paul Ricard
It must be unnerving for any Williams driver to go through that same corner that killed Senna in his, ahem, Williams, so many times during the race.
great camera setting
Montoya could have be champion in 2003
He made too many mistakes. He spun in Australia and Canada whilst in great positions. He took out Rubens in USA. He had the talent but lacking in other areas.
@@weallfollowmanutd he never had a car able to win the title
@@javiergarrido6088 yes he did. In 2003, mid season it was the best car.
@@weallfollowmanutd only in that time. Williams never reacted like Ferrari and McLaren
@@javiergarrido6088 The williams was the best car. Montoya just made too many mistake
Bring Imola back to the F1 calendar !
Why does everyone want it back? The track sucked year on year. Several years had less than 5 on track passes for the whole race. Its scenic and all, but it was trash as a track.
Barney Ward I’m your 15,038th subscriber! I love formula 1 besides basketball. Basketball is my favorite sport and so as watching more about Formula 1.
Right.
Senna only lived a short life at 34. He was so young to this day in formula one. ESTABLISHED IN 1994.
ñao ñao amigao so what? It’s a great track
it's back!
That sound of that V10 is like hearing your new girlfriend fart in front of you for the first time... Sobering!
💥💥💥
21 years later... and Williams is slowly but steadily waiting for its demise, Imola another pain in its path.
This was one of the last good years in F1 to me. They still had the awesome V10, and its right before the teams started tacking on a lot of winglets and making the cars ugly. The cars were still relatively sleek and clean.
But traction control and autogear
The 07 cars are my favorites
Montoya was driving well then something went wrong with his fuel tank I think.
But Kimi drove like a demon in an inferior McLaren this race, holding off Rubens to the line.
Is it full automatic?
Semi automatic
@@Emperor_Ultra in this case, automatic downshifting, manual upshifting
Parece que a cada volta ele tá tentando o suicídio...!!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
L urlo del BMW V10 e' da paura
He drives like verstappen
He can fight Verstappen!!!
