I own the Paradym X 5w , Paradym Heaven Wood, and the Paradym 9w. So glad that you produced this video and gave a smart analysis. I am now very comfortable with my lineup and see no reason to switch. My 5w beats the new 5w because it has only a slight draw bias as opposed to the new one that has much more of a draw bias. My HW is my fav club. And, well, a 9w is ,well, a 9 w , can’t be much difference there can it. Thanks again for putting me at ease.
If you've gone this deep....try the 11wood. I'm 6'4' and strong, but was in a car accident that has slowed my swing speed down drastically. I can choke down on the 11 and hit it 160 or full swing 180. Gave up hybrids for woods. DJ using a 9wood should tell you it's "ok" for lesser humans to hit 11 woods. I encourage others at my club to hit a few balls with it....and now there's a bunch of guys with it in the bag. I use the triple diamond FW's, but switched to the X on driver for the slight draw bias.
great video. Would be interesting to compare the Smoke to older Callaway fairway woods maybe 5-6 years old to see how much performance normal golfers who do not change clubs too often are, or possibly are not, missing out on
I have the Paradym diamond and I like it better than the smoke version of it. Smoke has a harder feel off face. I'll stay with mine for a few more years.
True but on their price list Paradym is actually dearer than Ai Smoke! You will only get a deal if a retailer chooses to sell at a lower price to get rid of stock
I’m a Titleist brand snob, but I just had to put the ai smoke fairway in my bag, so so good

@@jherl8307 Depends on the green, but yes, just like a lofted hybrid. I prefer the woods because they are more forgiving.

I think the rogue at max 3 wood was a phenomenal club. Not as good looking at the paradym series but prob felt the best

I moved “up” from an 11 to a nine, very little difference and Callaway’s 11 is quite similar to other brand’s 9 anyway .
