I don't know where to single crochet after lip stitch. Do I make it long or short? Every time I single crochet it doesn't expand. Help?

Too complicated. You didn't show us how to do what you were doing therefore this isn't for beginners. I'm not even a beginner and I got lost.

Angel Cake When did you get lost? Honestly asking. I just figured out how to crochet, and I can see how maybe you would consider it not for beginners. Maybe it's because she doesn't explain what the chains are or what single crochets are? Idk. I want to honestly know, because I'm able to follow along (granted I need a larger hook.)
Honestly, looking back on this I'm not sure where I got lost either. I've don't a few projects and I'm better at crocheting now and I thought the tutorial was pretty good. my comment was 3 months ago so I thing I just didn't know how to do enough to figure anything out

so cool , I've been trying to make gloves ,I tried using the traditional weaving way but it wasn't as neat
Love these gloves !! I have made 4 pairs with the messy bun hats .. and i am still crocheting them !! I have been using " With Love " Yarn works great and has some stretch to it , for some whom may have a slightly bigger hand . I have made a few pairs with just the super saver red heart yarn as well :) They come out beautiful as well , but slightly tighter stitch , even using a jay hook . .. Either way i am making these for next year for all the cousins friends, and nieces !! Thank you for Sharing !! Happy Hooking !! :)
