  • These Chunky Fingerless Gloves are quick and easy with chunky yarn such as Bernat Bargello Yarn. Bargello is in the discontinued list for Bernat and may be hard to find in the future. Just know this pattern works for yarns requiring a 10 mm, Size N Crochet Hook in order to do a pair for yourself.

    Thankyou so much for this pattern. I love the gloves I made! I did adjust most of the pattern to fit my small hands and my yarn choice. I used a chunky yarn, Ice Cream Deluxe by Lion Brand. Beautiful, soft yarn. But I did alternate between slip stitch and single crochet. Well, I started that way, but I wanted things to go quicker. I frog that one, and alternated single crochet and half double crochet, didn't do as many rows for the cuff or the hand part.
    However, my gloves fit me perfectly!

    Hi ya Mikey.......thank you for yet another amazing tutorial....you really are a gifted teacher.....I haven't been crocheting for that long and I don't really know much...but...if when finishing the cuff and slip stitching it together, you turned it inside out before starting on the wrist part, then wouldn't you be able to see the "knitted" part of it??????? Which was perhaps the propose of the cuff stitching anyway?????
    Anyway thanks again.....love from Greece...❤️

    if you use a smaller hook with less chunky yarn would it still be the same amount of stitches

    • @dawnscott7266
      @dawnscott7266 3 года назад

      No, it would not. But you can adjust things to fit the yarn you have and size of your hand. Just be consistent. If you need a base chain of 20 chains, just continue each round with 20 for your cuff and so on.

    Do I have to use this yarn? What is another yarn that can be used with this pattern?

      Brandie Bro Brandie you can use any bulky yarn that calls for a 10mm size N hook. I check the label to see what size hook is recommended. If you are using scrap yarn with no label you will have to do the dreaded gauge swatch on the pattern. I hate doing those but sometimes you have to. 😀 Hope this helps.
