    I'm making these gloves, but I wonder why you bind off the wristband.
    I don't. After I turned my work inside out I did a sls and 1ch to bring the yarn up and went right along with sc in the top stitches crocheting around the tail as I went. And it looks absolutely fine.

    Mine came out huge for my hand. Guess I have to undo it all and do less than 30. Thank you for a very easy to follow video.

    Thank you for the great pattern and tutorial! I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong in my first row of single crochets tho. I keep ending up with two extra singles crochets for some reason. I had to adjust to 24 rows for my wrist band and ended up with 26 single crochets 😂😂😂. I mean... It still works out ok but I can't figure out where my mistake is. Either ways, I ended up with great results and I had a lot of fun working on them. Even as a newbie I can follow along 🙌🏻

      Interesting...did you notice the increase in the first row or does it take a while for you to increase by two stitches? It's great that you were able to notice the problem and come up with a fix...that's creativity at its finest :)

      +B.hooked Crochet it was basically in that first row of single crochets into the cuff. before starting the puffs. I was having some difficulty distinguishing where exactly i should put the stitches. Thankfully I always ended up with an even number of singles so it worked for the puffs :D. I did figure out what I was doing wrong, I was a little mixed up with finding that first space next to the seam.

    mine came out huge...do I need to go down a hook sz or 2. Or maybe do less than 30 rows to begin.

      Deborah Breaux In another video I was watching, the lady only crochets 22 rows... ??? And her hands looked normal! Now, I'm confused.

      Mine did too. I have a small wrist I could fit both my hands in it lol. Did making less than 30 help??

    I love this pattern, so thanks for that! I love tighter fits for gloves though, and I have small hands, so I only made 6 rows of puff stitches, but it still turned out too big. lol :P

    • @bhookedcrochet
      @bhookedcrochet  9 лет назад

      Uh oh :/ It could be a gauge difference from the puff stitches.

    • @Starrifyx
      @Starrifyx 9 лет назад

      B.hooked Crochet It could be actually, thanks for that! I'm rather new to crochet and I don't even have a gauge ruler yet. :P

    I feel like I can make them! Thank you so much. Watching you in the vidoe has been very helpful. What size hook and what kind of yarn?

    • @bhookedcrochet
      @bhookedcrochet  9 лет назад

      That's great! They work up quickly and easily. I am using a size 5mm hook and Vickie Howell Sheepish Stripes yarn. You can find these details and the written instructions here:

    I can use 4ply yarn right? Would it turn out smaller by a lot? Because it's the only yarn I have on hand now!

    • @liyaneepops
      @liyaneepops 9 лет назад +1

      You can use different yarn if you check gauge. You probably need to adjust the size of hook.

    Hello i was wondering can you yous 8 ply yarn a nd 4 mm hook to make the fingerless gloves

    • @bhookedcrochet
      @bhookedcrochet  9 лет назад

      You sure can! You will need to adjust the pattern a bit though. Using a smaller hook and yarn will make a smaller fingerless glove if you follow the same stitch counts. This pattern is pretty easy to adapt. Just try it on as you work :)

    Why cut the yarn after joining the cuff? Just leave it and keep going.
