    The "Frankenstein" wrister would be awesome over a wrist brace! Honestly I need my left glove to HAVE your massive wrister. I have serious nerve damage in my left wrist, And I am in a wheelchair so my wrist needs the support of a wrist brace. And I have found that it is hard to find gloves that go over it or are comfortable enough under it without my fingers freezing! I can use this pattern to customize my own lopsided fingerless gloves that I can wear my cheap stretchy gloves underneath my brace and gloves! This is why I love love love making my own things, you can customize your project to fit your needs! I have been crocheting since I was 7 years old but my mother didn't know how to make anything except blankets, wash cloths, dish cloths, scarves, lopsided hats and very very uncomfortable sweaters that didn't fit right unless you held your arms out like the letter "t" all the time. So I am determined to learn many different projects and to do everything correctly, so they look good and function the way they are suppose to.

    I actually started on these wristers last week since I wasn't entirely sure you were gonna demo how to make these, and had to put it down cause the cuff part wasn't coming out right. I didn't go far enough up to the whole five inches I think. I'm gonna go back and try them again. Thanks for the demo :D I make a new pair of wristers for myself every year along with a scarf its like a crochet tradition

    Do a hamburger fold instead of a hot dog fold. That's the American logic haha. It works though. These are nice! I'm going to make a pair for my boyfriend since he can't stand the cold.

    Around 16 Minutes shouldn`t ist be 2sc in the first AND LAST stitch of the round?
    The patterns says: "2nd to 4th rnds: Ch 1. 2 sc in first sc.
    1 sc in each sc to last sc. 2 sc in last sc"

    How can I make these small enough for a toddler??

    • @conniestone6251
      @conniestone6251 5 лет назад

      I stopped at about 4 inches long (for the diagonal) and so far this looks fairly right... then doing fewer rounds for hands until it looks good... actually not a lot fewer. We'll see how they turn out??

    why are you using a 5mm if you called for a 4.5mm?

    • @Aranur
      @Aranur 8 лет назад

      +Samantha Blake (LowerThanL0W) he may crochet tight or that's the hook that gets him the gauge he needs

    • @samblake1746
      @samblake1746 8 лет назад +1

      well, by the looks of it to me he usually crochets looser than me haha maybe so though

    • @Aranur
      @Aranur 8 лет назад +1

      +Samantha Blake (LowerThanL0W) I had to switch the hooks myself cause a 4.5 mm was to small to work with so I used the 5mm came out so much better. course this was after I had the derp moment cause I wasn't seeing the rectangle, and didn't realize I just had to turn the curved triangle at that time on its side and book point rectangle XD

      +Samantha Blake (LowerThanL0W) , I see what you are saying. I wondered too which I should use. Never making fingerless gloves before, I don't what will fit my hands. I am going try the H-8 5.00mm and hope that it fits the hands I am making it for. Christmas is just around the corner and I have other projects to do.

      @Aranur 8 лет назад

      +Christiana Shiflett if you use the 5 it should be fine, they fit my hands fine. but like mikey said the pattern is easy to customize so for my arm 5 and a half inches for the triangle was fine.
