Idk why ppl put down the yellow livery. I think Spirit’s use of the color yellow is incredible. Their cabin feels nicer because of the yellow highlights in the back of the cabin. The livery itself stands out and looks pretty cool with the black logo and all. Definitely my favorite spirit livery, and one of the best ways yellow has been used in aviation.
12:50 Fun fact for those who didn’t know, but at Boston Logan international airport, they have american flags on two gates, these two gates are where American flight 11 and United flight 175 departed from the day of the attacks. The gates that have american flights on them are gate B-32 which Flight 11 departed from and Gate C-19 where flight 175 departed them. Your plane parked in terminal B, next to B32. So that American flag you showed is from where flight 11 departed from, rip to all who died that day 😢

Great video! I think one of the (many) reasons people dislike the ULCC airlines is sticker shock. You buy a cheap fare but then the add-ons cost you an arm and a leg! But you get what you pay for with these airlines and they don't shy away from that.
Yup. But inform yourself and all will be well. Like you said. Get what you pay for. When I fly ULCC I have certain expectations. When I fly mainline, I have others. I have no problem with them whatsoever. Fortunately, we have choice.
JetBlue will be a huge base in Fort Lauderdale once the merge is completed with Spirit
For $10 plus applicable taxes I would buy the seat next to me as well.
The applause is typical on a drunken charter flight to the Caribbean and in-flight entertainment is usually the screaming baby behind you.

Re: aisle width is not really abnormally wide...thats the huge diff between the 320 and 737!! It's what an aisle should be!!
Correct me if i'm wrong isn't terminal 4 basically new at FLL?
I finally had an opportunity to arrive in 4 and was really pleased.
As for Spirit..I've become a late comer fan..just be prepared for the experience!!

Another great video, thank you sir! I’ve flown Spirit several times lately and had no problems with any of it. But… wait for it… no one was going crazy at boarding because their carry ons wouldn’t fit in the sizer boxes and had to pay dearly, seemed folks were aware of what they paid for. Now, once upon landing at SMF when everyone got up to get off, my fellow Sacramentans loudly communicated the N word with each other on their phones. Disgusting!
did you check in a bag on spirit airlines. Were they strict with the weight and the personal item size? How much did it cost for the first peice. How was the experience? How much did they charge

Yes when dark out. They supposed to match the ambient lighting conditions so your eyes have minimal adjust time in case of an evacuation. Windows blinds should also be up for take off and landing so people can see the environment.
At night, lights off for take-off and landing. I prefer less light during the flight for sure. I must not forget to get eyeshades

Southwest Airlines snack mix is better because it's a diff things vs American's only containing mini pretzels and Sprit buy on board
