What equipment do you use?
I have a Canon 700D with Rode VideoMic Go, a Canon Powershot S120 and a GoPro Hero 3+ Black. I edit on my Acer 8GB RAM laptop.

How did you learn to edit?
I taught myself. I downloaded Premiere Pro and began to figure out how to use it through trial and error. My videos were pretty bad at first but eventually, and with the help of many tutorials, you start to figure out what works.
What work are you doing?
Right now I am running this video blog while doing freelance web design and video editing to supplement my travelling lifestyle.
How do you meet the people in your videos?
Hostels, guesthouses and conversations! You meet people so easily while travelling. Just open yourself up and you will meet all sorts of amazing people.

I heard Pulau Bidadari is the pretiest among those islands. Pulau Tidung looks awesome too. Btw, you should check Pulau Belitung (in East Sumatra), Jord. It's heaven.
nahhh pulau bidadari is not that nice compare to pulau macan or pulau sepa or pulau pantara. cos the more far away the island, the more clear the water.
belitung is so beautiful and not really crowded. its cheap too. please check visitbelitong.com for any further information!

Kepulauan Seribu is so underrated. It is so beautiful and accomodations are affordable. What else do jakarta residents need?
You should go to labuan bajo. Try live on board for 3-4 days. They will take you to good spot for snorkeling

I have been there about 4 years ago for me time n really want to go back soon but now i think the price is expensive.. i have to pay double price for single guest. Well pricey but worthy..

I remember going to the thousand islands for the first time. I was promised it would be beautiful and charming and nothing like the rest of Jakarta. When I got there it was covered in litter and the water was so dark and murky.
Glad you got to go to a better island, but I don't think I'll be going there again.
Try again. Jakarta is so much cleaner these last few months. I can't promise anything, but most places in Jakarta are so much cleaner and civil now, thanks to the new and strict governor. It takes time to fix all Jakarta after so many years ruined, but they are getting there. At least some of Jakarta rivers are very clean, so that people loves to swim there. Something that had not happened in years.

Highly recommend not to go there this time of year. The weather there and back is too unpredictable.
4 years ago, caught in a storm on the way back, had to 'detour' hugging the mainland (as the boat crew looked seriously worried about the conditions) as there is no serious rescue services on the way back.
Took over 4 hours to get back which is normally a 1.5 hour trip.
But in the summer Highly recommended. Lovely place.
