- We found a hidden canal and it was absolutely loaded! Crazy how the smallest spots always hold fish like this.
This tiny canal surprised me with how well we did. I need to make another trip here soon! Cannot beat canal fishing in Arizona!

You should've cut up that Bluegill. Put a chunk on a hook and weight it so it sits on the bottom. Then you'll catch your Catfish. 😎👍

You need to use some UK floats or bobbers as you call it, you would have more control than the big bodied float you use

I have watched your videos and you are fishing in very confined areas where fish are easy to catch. I would like to see you do more videos on a huge lake.
fish in confined areas are not always easy to catch. They often get pressured the most much more than big lakes. I have various big lake videos out ranging from lake havasu to lake pleasant, and a few others up north

Have you ever hit the canal @Lyndsay and Queen Creek area? I started to fish the Higley & Germann canal and realized it was posted. I had to leave and there were a bunch of fish just ready do be caught. Apparently that isn't an SRP canal.

Aberdeens are amazing for panfish, long shank is preferred imo, makes it easy to unhook the micro catches, I use 3 at a time for max exposure of bait, I just found your vid by chance….(algorithm)……good job dude..😊❤

Query - Would it be possible for you to share some of these locations so that your viewers don't have to waste time (and precious gas) roaming the city to search for them ? Phoenix and it's surrounds cover a HUGE area, so some guidance would be so greatly appreciated. Some of us are on a fixed income; gas is expensive now (though it didn't used to be), and wasting it is cost prohibitive ! This latest location looks interesting and I would like to try it, but looking for it on my budget isn't at all feasible !
@@alphonsenormand9552 Unfortunately people don’t treat the areas with respect when I have done that in the past. Blasting a spot like this to a lot of people has its drawbacks. As far as the gas goes we’re one and the same. I too waste precious gas looking for new places to fish. Sometimes it’s for nothing. That’s just all in the game of fishing. If you want garuntee fish you have to fish in the urban ponds close by, or any pay to fish pond because fishing is a game of ups downs, and exploring and sometimes you just miss 🤷🏽♂️

@TheFishinMagician20 When I was 10 to 12 years old the lower lake was open to the public, it actually had a beach and was great for over night camping. The cats and bass were huge and gathered in the runoff of the dam divers said that cats were as big as humans. The lower lake has been closed for decades after the lake was made into a boating destination. Would be interesting to see what's in the lower lake.
