    A valuable use of glutamine not mentioned in this 66-second video is to reduce, and even eliminate, cravings for alcohol or sugar. It does this by fueling the parts of the brain that alcohol or sugar fuel, and without causing a blood insulin spike. That sounds like a pretty valuable use to me.

    I found glutamine great in my experience as a rugby player, specially in the pre-season trainings. Hey PictureBro. Is there any difference between Glutamine and L-Glutamine?

    • @cg3703
      @cg3703 Год назад +7

      glutamine comes in levorotatory (L-glutamine) and dextrorotatory (D-glutamine) enantiomers/versions, depending on the orientation of the structure which polarizes light either clockwise or counterclockwise. Generally, levorotatory molecules are biologically active so any amino acids you'd be taking are (hopefully) the L- versions rather than the D- versions. When people talk about supplements like glutamine and don't specify D- or L-, it's generally assumed that they're talking about the L- version

Plus, the research on Marijuana and fitness is all over the place. Going to take a when for me to compile the information. But please stay posted!

      Not necessarily, whey already has bcaas, if after a certain point extra bcaas don't help with muscle growth or recovery then you'd be wasting money taking both. And even if it does is it a big difference worth the money or a small difference not worth the price of stacking.

      First of creatine is a different type of amino acid, and a lot of times we aren't getting the amount of glutamine we need just from foods alone. Some need 20 grams of glutamine a day and I can guarantee you that it's difficult to get all that from foods alone
