    To answer further questions:
    1. Yes you can mix creatine with your protein shake for even a better absorbtion, or any other drink of your liking.
    2. Yes you should take your creatine and Protein even at your rest days, especially rest days are the days where the muscle growing starts happening.

    I started the gym again a few months ago. The preworkout I’m taking everyday has 5mg. I don’t workout every day (2-3 time a week) . I just consume it slowly throughout the day as an energy booster.
    I noticed I had phenomenal last reps strength. I could give another two reps no problem. Now it’s dying down on me. Perhaps I should up to 10mg a day as you mentioned.

    Comprehensive and concise - thank you very much! I do have a couple of questions however:
    1. In the case of taking it before a workout, how quickly is creatine absorbed and available for use by the body? In other words, how long before a workout should it be taken? This is connected to my second question which is…
    2. If creatine stores are used up during exercise, shouldn’t it be taken afterwards to replenish what was lost - which would then make taking it before the next workout unnecessary?
    Again, thank you very much!

    • @donaldkasper8346
      @donaldkasper8346 Год назад +1

      I bet cellular absorption is very slow in terms of days to weeks, and so timing around workout consideration is pointless. If it was absorbed in one day, you max out in one day, and go bench 30% more tomorrow. But, that does not happen. Since you eat it, it is going into the blood, and then all around to cells over time so as your cells use it, they get more from your blood. What they don't say it you take it loading up for a week because you pee most of it out. Otherwise, 20 grams, a vast amount, is enough for your body immediately, I would presume.
