I also talked to my aunt and she said she knows how to crochet, she's made dresses, skirts, scarfs, and tops for my cousin before. My aunt also said next time i visit her i need to bring the materials and she will teach me how to crochet! I'm so excited!

For the ears, have you placed 2DC in every stitch? You chained 3, slip stitched, chained 2, then DC until you formed a semicircle. Then you chained 2, and did 2DC in every stitch? E.g. If you had, let's day, 4 DC on the first row, you would have 8DC on the second?
This is so cute and I wish I could make these things for my friends. I just can't get used to the handling of the yarn and crochet stick, so everything comes out too tight in spots and just wonky looking T^T
