Now, just bring us a Surface Pro 8 with eight-core Zen 3 mobile processors and Thunderbolt and it will be the perfect tablet PC.

The batter is 16.67% bigger and the processor more efficient should definitely result in 2-3 additional hours of battery life

That's correct. The LTE Advanced models use the Core i5 with passive cooling (fan-less). The Core i7 models have active cooling.

The physical SIM slot is behind the kickstand under the removable SSD cover. ESIM doesn't have a slot.
