I’m taking my MSF Beginner course next week. 6’ tall, 189 lb with 34” inseam. I’m thinking the 310 GS is a possibility. Great warranty. Due to my height so many bikes “for beginners” have low seats and therefore not great choices. Many taller bikes are too heavy or powerful for a beginner like me, or are too focused on off road. Thanks for taking the time to describe all that you did (and opening my mind to what can be done).
Nice work. I have this bike in rally Kalamata. I just ride paved roads so no upgrades other than the puig screen and extension and givi plate and top case. I think it’s a great bike no matter how it’s used. It rides country roads and highways here in middle Tennessee really nice and is a lot of fun. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it on the trails. Good video.
I too have a similar G310 GS build. I like the parts you have added. I have added the following: PUIG Windscreen, Barkbusters handguards, Rox 2” Risers, Denali Light brackets under front fender, with Thumper Jockey Lights, SRC Headlight Guard, Radiator guard and Kickstand guard, Hepco and Becker lower engine guards and skid plate to keep bike slim, similar brake pedal pad, pivot Pegz, GPS Bar with Garmin 396, ABS Off (switch from Tusk) mounted on handle bar, Rally Raid Suspension (+2) with rear adjustment and reservoir, Rear Rack and Spoked/Tubed black wheels (I prefer tubes and have a black bike), Bridgestone AX41 Tires, Scorpion Exhaust, Mosco Moto Reckless 10, bags with Rhinowalk 10l tail bag, R& G Kickstand Extender. Still to come: Atlas throttle lock, Tusk small tank bag, EMP Shield, shift lever extension. I hope this list may help some others looking at similar parts. Again, I really like your build!
Im thinking this bike and doing the rally kit conversion. Im a shorter rider and I like the seat height on these gs310! Question… how much is the maintenance on these bike? Thanks!!

Could you please tell me where you tapped for the switched fuse box?
