With the Clearys together and their fantastic youth policies Penrith will be up there with the best teams for years.
Until cleary goes to union in a couple of years
Bro he won’t leave
@@monkishmean277 then why did he say he might?
@@enterpassword3313 when was this. Most of the stuff you hear is the media hyping everything up. Why would he leave when he knows he has a spot in anyteam he wants and if he goes to union his just gunna have to start over and get/keep his spot
Go Panthers go get that 3 peat.
Most Kiwis have a soft spot for Cleary, ex player coach.
Go Panthers.
I think the fact they’ve lost capewell Staines Burton naden kikau momorovski korosau and are in the grand final is incredible. I think losing salmon and crighton next year is gonna be challenging but keen to see how far they can push history
Surely Turuva goes to centre since May will be coming back from injury.
@@godemperorofmankind3.091 great point
The guys in the eighties would get folded today
They lose both Crichton and Spencer to the Doggies next season
@@QLDdontget13v13 no spencer is going to the roosters. Salmon and crighton are going to the bulldogs
Honestly want to see a 3-peat - let's go Panthers! But can see the Broncos challenging for the next few years, kind of like how the Panthers had to lose to the Storm in 2020 before going on this run
When Smith, Cronk, Slater, Inglis were playing for Melbourne (saw them beat Manly in a GF, think at homebush) Imo they are a team which has an argument for claiming the greatest modern day era team.
Maybe the 2021-23 Panthers, 94 Raiders or 98 Broncos would have beaten them in a grand final if they were in the same era , but i seriously doubt even if they did lose that they would have got smashed off the park.
You don't have to like the Storm to recognize they were one of the great teams of NRL.
Storm actually sort of did better without Slater than with him.
2019-2021 was a Storm golden age in terms of being basically the best team in the league, hardly losing a single game.
@@godemperorofmankind3.091 Well hey if you just take the actual team into account not the changing roster - i would have to say Melbourne has to be in the NRL Goat team picture.
Eels were one of the best. Sterlo was the goldust behind the three in a row. He should be an immortal!
Kenny's a rock. Under the radar workhorse.
Go Panthers 🏆
should be a cracking game. best team will win.
I think its definitely possible. they are the benchmark now and the team to beat.
Broncos are one of the few teams who can truly rival them however.
Penref Panthers
Panthers got this ☝️☝️☝️
I don't know about re-writing history, but they will definately win this sunday
They haven't won this year yet guys, we will see on Sunday
I think they are the best team I have ever watched. Them or the storm of old with Inglis and Folau
Nice Video
Ivin Cleary for Blues Couch next year
Panthers are gonna win!
"LET'S GO BRONCOS"
Gallen just parrots things so cringely . The Panthers will be good for years due to their development program. 🤦
Yeah most have come through the system.
@@jameslovering9158 missed the point
What new record? You do know the Dragons won 10 in a row, right?
very different game now, cant compare
Very different game to Parramatta's 3peat too @jamesdavis9737 So if you want to say Dragons don't compare, then you must also say Parramatta don't compare. Which makes the aforementioned segment null & void. But Gus & Gal say it is comparable. As such, I stand by my statement. What new record?
@@MicahBell_1860 that's your opinion dude
No . That was your opinion to cloud the facts @jamesdavis9737
@@MicahBell_1860 if you think the game hasn't changed since 1966 then that's your problem
I certainly think the mighty Broncos will be in for a 'Surprise Win' 😊
GO BRONCOS
Penrith too experienced. Broncos got no gf experience enrith been there done that an will do it again. You gotta lose one to win one. UP THE RITHS. Even though you oumped my storm. Go get that 3peat.
I knew we'd beat Storm and Warriors, and we'll beat the Panthers too. Going to be an epic game.
Both teams beat those same two teams to get into the final just in opposite order. Panthers all the way 💪
You sure about that? LOL
Was a fantastic grand final hey. One of the very best ever. @@powderskier5547
The Panthers don't deserve 2 let alone 3! What an absolute farce! Doesn't anyone remember how the cheated their way into the premiership in 2021?? They shouldn't have even been in the 2021 Grand Final 😂
🐴🔥 Horsepower
Keep them onside and the Broncos will destroy them.
Dream on, the Broncos will win the Premiership.
He gets the chin from his Mum if you were wondering
Cleary is an average player, at best. When he was out injured or suspended & replaced by Jack Cogger & Sean O'Sullivan, PenRef, didn't miss a beat. And I find it oddly strange that Ivan Cleary's coaching record before the previous 4 seasons, struggled to win 45% of his games. But from 2020, his record has shot up over 75%. And his & PenRef's fortunes have changed dramatically to coincide with the 6 again rule introduced 🤔. And tbh, really couldn't give a rats about who wins on Sunday.
So you think Penrith make 4 GFs in a row if Cleary was never born?
@@godemperorofmankind3.091 They still would've made the G.F's, if Panthers had Luke Brooks as their halfback.
@@BigMan.270 Every grand final winner since 2006 has had some kind of elite level halfback or at least decent, guiding them around the park.
the last five have been cleary, hughes, cronk, Townsend (with James Maloney at five eighth) and Thurston. Clearly in 2021 became a part of a very small but special club of halfbacks who took their team to a premiership.
the entire top 8 had halfbacks that were at least decent. no Brooks or Sexton there. and when a team was lacking in a halfback, they had an elite five eighth to pick up the slack. i doubt sharks in 16 and broncos in 06 win without Maloney and Lockyer.
if you don't have good halves, you pretty much can't win. thats what history says.
@@godemperorofmankind3.091 Then why does he & his mate Boombox, go MIA in origin? It's a case that when teams are defending against Panthers, the refs have them standing anywhere between 12-15m. And when Panthers are the ones defending, it's anywhere between 8-10m. You don't get that latitude in origin.
@@BigMan.270 they didn't. origin is just a different level and qld in general outplayed them. no player is completely invincible and they can't do everything.
up the wahs
This is what Brisbane dosnt have...... culture.
Every player at Brisbane is worried how they look to the public, how big they're banks are etc.... they're selfish.
Penrith players only care about themselves, they're area, they're club and theyre families... and that's why they are unstoppable
yes good point, panthers all grew up together, they are brothers and they play for each other, raised as panthers
broncos bought their fullback and halfback, they care about their salaries more than anything else
Mate I don't think u have brains to say Broncos don't have a culture. What is culture btw?
