I'm saying this as a Parra fan, I'm not gonna sook about the Parra directed insults, they're our local rivals, they should take big pride (and even some ego/sledging) in beating their rivals to that major honour especially in the fashion they did, both in the actual GF game as well as how they dominated the season. Watch European Football (soccer) and see how rivals clubs and fans give it to eachother. The part I thought was bad was Korisaus jab at the Tigers purely because he's going there and he should respect the club he's signed for.

As dogs supporter i always had a great deal of respect for panthers and the way they carried themselves..... until now.. unfortunately tigers dont have the luxury of being able to tear up his contract but its deserved. What has seperated us in the past from Americans in sport was our modesty and gentlemanly sportsmanship in victory. Im a Parra fan, full credit to Penrith, they came to win, unlike Parra. But some of the calls from the ref were mind boggling and inconsistent. I dont know what Parras game plan was but it was a piss poor effort. They deserved to lose.

It's sung at just about every sports occasion there is nowadays. They were singing it at the FA Cup final in London ffs. They sing it at the end of a day at the races. But Kent hates Penrith so if they sing it it has to be sinister. Kent is just a nobody who is livid that his team didn't win. In my view the Panthers did not ruin anything in fact they made it more interesting. Next season will be one to watch cause if they win it again then yep they are pretty much an immortal team. On the flip side if they bow out it would a fall from grace. This journey is definitely one for a future documentary like a last dance type series.

I thought JFH comments were fine. Local rivals and beating them in the final gives you a sense of pride. APIs comments were quite disrespectful though. They are pretty bad winners though. You didn’t see roosters in 2018 and 2019 when they went back to back carry on this way

At the press conference after the game, Gutho said that Penrith players had consoled the Parra players after the game and told them that losing their first GF was what motivated them. Wow, what disrespect - not. The incidents that Kent is trying to stir up come after the players had been drinking for 12 hours then someone shoves a microphone under their nose.
