      @@loufrost824 If the last two expansions in RL heartland have created absolute trash teams, who's gonna take an expansion in Perth or Adelaide or New Zealand seriously in the future? Have you ever met a Titans supporter? I haven't. Why would people turn out for those teams if there's a track record of new teams sucking massive dong? Who's gonna want to play for those teams? It only makes attracting star players harder in the future, which makes generating excitement around the club that much harder. Even in RL heartland this happens. It is better for the sport if new clubs get a boost early on to generate some hype, because public perception is the name of the game when starting out.

    Reese Walsh was being talked about for weeeks by Media, even when he had 2 years left on his contract. "Done Deal" Dolphins can't just poach players. Then an opportunity comes along where Walsh is going to Brisbane and the Dolphins cry because Warriors have a deal with the Broncos. Don't blame the Warriors, the deal may have been before Walsh signed with Warriors, that they get first dibs if he leaves Warriors. Also a player swap was part of the deal, Dolphins can't player swap anyone.

      Correct.
      Walsh said he wanted to go to Broncs as it wasn't about money and he has always really been a Bronc's lad.
      One of Dolphins first moves was to poach supposed recruitment guru Peter O'Sullivan from Warriors so don't expect Warriors to do them any favors in return.
      Warriors likely to get TMM and Arthars from Broncs for letting them take Walsh which is a win for both clubs.
      END OF STORY even though Anasta now claims Bennett and the Dolphins are some sort of "threat" to other clubs who are supposedly "afraid" of them at present which is so far fetched it defies belief.
      Vonny obviously has some sort of interest in Dolphins which clouds her comments.Hell she doesn't even know how employment contracts work.

    Reece didn’t want to go to the dolphins ffs
    He’s come out and said he wanted to go to the broncos and he loves the club.

    He is always ANGRY and talking over people!
    HE has some serious anger issues.
    Which is not a great look for footy fans like me.
    Who just wants an even discussion on the events of the rugby league day.
    There is never a positive feed on here about him🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️TOSSER!!!

    When Reece Walsh said couldn’t live in NZ the Warriors said he could negotiate with the Broncos.
    When Matt Lodge said he couldn’t live in NZ the warriors paid him out for the rest of his contract (700k) and he was free to negotiate with any club.
    Your clowning yourself If you think Reece choose to solely negotiate with Broncos. Hella petty move by Warriors management.

      Being A bit unfair on the warriors they gave Walsh a start he was playing reserve grade on minimum wage the warriors Spring boarded his career. They didnt have to release him but cleary they nagotiated with the Broncos for other players so it makes alot of sense. Don't feel sorry for reece 350K a year at 19?I'm sure he will do just fine.
      As For the Lodge debarcle what a Joke totally screws there cap for next year.Why would they then want to help o'sullivan and the Dophins??

      @@Phyic18 The Warriors management having an issue with O'sullivan and the Dolphins shouldn’t get in the way of an individuals (Reece) decision to negotiate with another team. Again as my first comment shows, the hypocrisy from the Warriors is astounding.

      @@cloudy-daze8858 The walsh and lodge situation are completely different walsh was signed for the 2023 season lodge had a option in his favour which he choose not to take up.....but still got paid out for how does that work?

    • @Phyic18
      @Phyic18 2 года назад

      While in part I agree it would seem petty from warriors management but the Broncos were offering them players in return for releasing walsh. Dophins were not. Are you saying if u were warriors management u would have said no to the Broncos player swap deal and just let Reece break contact and go where ever?

    • @cloudy-daze8858
      @cloudy-daze8858 2 года назад

      @@Phyic18 The deal is Reece to Broncos 350k a year. Its misleading to state in your previous comment “Why would they then want to help o'sullivan and the Dophins??” And not grasp the fact that, that is the basis of the deal.

    Fox.flogs getting the story wrong yet again. Reece Walsh told the Warriors he wanted to go the Broncos so the Warriors agreed to release him if he negotiated a deal with the Broncos. That's fair seeing as they could of said no way we will not release you. Get it right you muppets.
