STFU!!! These guys are just trying to build narratives after the fact. QLD were probably the weakest they've been in recent years with the absence of Cameron Munster a massive blow and a lot of the Broncos players really down on form at club level. Along with relying on ageing players in Kafusi, Gagai and Capewell it was primed for NSW. Comparatively anyone could see this was NSW's most dangerous side in years. Maguire/selectors picked all the right players. Latrell Mitchell played his part, Lomax who has been deserving of a start for a few series was finally picked and was brilliant, while Edwards was his typical go forward, error free self at full back. BUT despite all that QLD still put up a valiant fight at home, as they typically do. This NSW team with all that advantage should have won far more convincingly so let's not kid ourselves. QLD did nothing for 80 minutes, barely got into striking distance and yet managed to stop NSW for 60 + minutes from taking the lead. If Freddy had been in charge he would have won this series with that advantage. Let's not forget that in 2022 NSW with 2 minutes on the clock were attacking QLD's line and if not for the Hunt interception perhaps score and win. Madge deserves to be commended for what he has achieved, but he didn't do anything particularly unique or special with the media or the players that got them over the line. It was simply more fortunate circumstances that favoured NSW. Careful not to big him up too much, he may just disappoint you next year.
Qld had their best team on the field. It wasn't weak to be honest. Maybe the weakest or worst Qld team was in the 2020 series. Qld had youngsters like Beau Fermor, Trent Loiero, Dave Fifita but opted for Capewell and Kaufusi trying to recreate that 2022 series win.

I hate qld
Careful not to big him up too much, he may just disappoint you next year.
no is reading that trust me. QLD suck
@@PabloEscobarMedellini just read all of that lil bro bro
Fittler should have won 5 series in a row with the talent her had, he was a rubbish coach after 2019
Qld had their best team on the field. It wasn't weak to be honest. Maybe the weakest or worst Qld team was in the 2020 series. Qld had youngsters like Beau Fermor, Trent Loiero, Dave Fifita but opted for Capewell and Kaufusi trying to recreate that 2022 series win.
@@maccaspope2275Origin isnt just about talent🤡 And i think Ponga, Munster, DCE, Hunt are decent spine players too. The forwards will die for Queensland. Any team like that has a chance to win
nsw was not a better team, it was the strongest team... for a while... teams with big, strong, fast players have won competitions on a regular basis... the bigger, the stronger the better,,, athleticism solely is no longer a winning formula,,, that is where Qld failed.
If it wasn't for Klein in game 1 it would have been 3-0
Qld would of won if NSW didn't get penalities from knock ons. LMAO, gift em one this year. Let's see if they can actually start a streak 😂😂
Qld lost because they don't have any forwards to get them in good field positionbto attack. Cope you loser
Penalty from knock ons? You mean penalty for tackling with out the ball... 🤡
You need tissue 😢
