Akio Toyoda is just awesome. He's probably most passionate person to run top car company. His story is just great.
Akio Toyoda really create a significant change on Toyota & Lexus cars since he became the CEO of the group.....He proved that mass produced car manufacturer can make fun driving cars for car enthusiast...

He does say (subbed Japanese) "end of the year [for lbx]... this one next year [*points->morizo edition]" I assume filmed last year as the standard lbx is available in some markets. Likely end of this year going by the video (officially no confirmed release iirc). V cool.
What an awesome video. Mr. Morizo seems different in that he just loves driving and that he wants to keep that passion alive. To celebrate other brands truly shows that he is serious about this love for car and driving. Makes me hopeful that he will keep the car alive and not just go along with other brands pushing for microwaves on wheels. I am proud to be a Toyota and Lexus owner.
Please bring this to Europe!

Dear Mr Toyota, my name is Ed and live in New York. For the second time in my life I own a Toyota product, and I can thank you for that. Going back to 1996, I was fortunate enough to buy a low mileage 92 LS400 as my first car (an odd choice for a young man I kno lol). And what a first car it was, it set expectations moving forward til this day. I am very thankful to say in the years since, I have own many different types of cars/trucks….from an e46 m3, to s500/550, RRs, jeeps etc etc, and currently own a manual r8 and bronco raptor. For the second time in my life, I recently bought that second Toyota product, a GRC……and have fallen in love again, and remembered vividly why I loved that LS400 the way I did. As an American, we sometimes become jaded w marketing jargon and whatnot. But I can stand here and proudly say, the takumi is in fact, a very real thing. You feel it when you drive your cars. The one negative personally is that I have been driving my other cars less and less. lol. And I don’t feel like I’m missing out, by leaving those cars at home and driving a COROLLA!!!! In a million years, I would have never imagined those words coming out of my mouth!!!

Every great executive has his reign, but the absolute best does what he did….get the house in order and hand the keys to a person that was vetted by them, like the previous gentleman said. In this day and age, to be thankful for the head of a global company like he was…..it’s very rare. As they are typically loathed. lol.
The fact that his vision about ICE is that it still has and serves a purpose so I hope Toyota continues producing cars with ICE and doesn't go 100% electric.

Please bring this to America Akio Toyoda! I stumbled upon the lbx on accident when I saw it on the lexus Australia website and thought that looks sooo much better then the UX. Now a morizo edition this has to come here
CEO and President of other car companies, are not Toyoda Akio. They only can wish to be like him, but none of them can imitate him.
I wish they sold this version of the LBX in the states! Maybe they make a UX F?

Good looking exterior , only one issue , Center Console Digital system unit should be on the top or high mounted , and HVAC system should be down so use of GPS etc can be easy .

Of course it had to have a Lexus badge so they can price it higher than it needs to be. Another disappointing move from Toyota.
you can always get the Yaris Cross, or the GR Yaris. It's not that surpising that to get the "best of both worlds" they've reserved it for their luxury brand.
@@Ericthefilo I live in the U.S. I think we get the Corolla instead of the Yaris. I was hoping Toyota would put that engine in a Corolla cross or something bigger like a RAV4.
@@John_Doe3 ah that's a shame, I would've assumed the US would get the widest selection of models given the size of the market. We get the Yaris and Yaris cross suv as well as the Corolla / cross.
