I've had mine for a few months. I'm 60 and I told the sales woman who was about as old as me does this have good bass. She turned it on and said what do you like with a smile. I said Yup that's what want. Lol I bought a new TV and I said I'm not skimping on the sound. Why go halfway. Lol
Sound bar came in. Have had it for a week now and this thing rocks man, I have a bigger living room and it is more than enough. The sub could have a little more bass but the sound bar itself is insane, especially for movies
it has one critical flaw: when you watch something and theres a short pause of audio in movies or commercials the soundbar goes into somewhat like sleep mode and as soon as the audio comes back it goes back on again, the result: everytime you miss 1-2 seconds of audio. Extremely annoying that's why I returned mine.

I agree with you about the surround sound Kosher,you can't get proper surround sound in a 2.1 system. I have a 5.1 Philips Home Cinema System that's six hundred Watts RMS. That's the true way of getting proper Surround Sound and not simulation surround sound.

I bought the Polk Signa S2 last night & it’s definitely not what I was anticipating... It will be going back to Best Buy in a few hours lol... I’m gonna exchange for this 1... I’d rather have the sub speaker facing the floor (Signa doesn’t) & you were correct on your review of the Polk Signa, not having a UI display sucks.... I appreciated your reviews.. Thanks
KosherTech Update; I ended up going with the SamSung R550 2.1 320w... So far so good, even tho the sub speaker isn’t facing the floor it has way more bass than that Signa S2 had.. And it allows you to change the Bass & Treble

Subscribed. So I was looking at the Polk Signa S1, S2 & MagniFi Mini and now this JBL 2.1. You just seem so much more excited about this JBL. I think my mind is made up - between all of these I'm leaning towards the JBL - what say you Sir?
The woofer for the JBL 2.1 if I buy the 10-in woofer it's compatible for the 2.1 conversion the base bottom is a 2019 or 2020 JBL woofer the wireless one

That's is a tough one. The JBL does come with a sub and the Yamaha is also a standalone beast. IDK it depends on the $ u got. Either choice will be good.

I haven't reviewed the Polk mahnifi mini. The Yamaha Yas is a beast soundbar. If u can try to get it with the Sub I believe the Yas 208 comes with the sub. The Sub will always add more of the BOOM 😊

Damn just paid 300 for mine. I enjoyed my logitech 5.1 but the controller went out. I could have ordered another but I wanted to try out the soundbar. While not the bass my logitech had, it was made for gaming and the cords were short as hell for some reason but I'm pretty satisfied. Especially the clarity and plenty enough bass for me now. I'm happy with it.
Don't buy this sound bar. After getting my LG soundbar stolen I ordered this from Amazon for just over $200. I just received it today with great anticipation. Fyi, I did extensive research before deciding on the JBL. Upon setting it up I immediately noticed the difference in sounds. The LG, which I had for 4 years is much better sounding as it packs more punch and the sound is a lot more balanced. I am highly disappointed with the JBL and I'm going to return it. The sound has no depth, mid range is almost non-existence. It's like having some tweeters in front of the TV and the base coming from the sub. The sound is so harsh no matter what you do with the sound setting with the remote. As I increase the volume the sound is more unbearable. Just imagine bunch of tweeters blasting in your ear. I paired it up with my phone and tried using the equalizer in the phone to find the right sound but it's just not possible. I really miss my LG soundbar. JBL's quality has gone down significantly over the years and this sound bar definitely shows it.
Ohve yes, you can google it many people reporting that. Thats why I returned mine months ago. I got Samsung MS650 instead and this issue is not present. Also it sounds way clearer and has a centre channel for movies.
Looking to purchase this same soundbar but first of all, I wanted to see a great detailed review. You definitely came through for me. Is this compatible with Samsung smart TV? Seen several reviews on Amazon where a lot of soundbars aren't for whatever reason.

I just got mine 3 days ago. It plays for 30mins then it turns off. Then back on by itself after 1 min. Then turn off again after 3 mins of playing music. I dont know whats causing it. Help please.

To recommend HDMI arc input or Optical input
If HDMI arc is possible use that of not optical will be 💯 as well

Might be an odd question, but when turning the soundbar on, does the volume change or does it keep the volume it was at last time it was on?
Good question I believe it keeps the volume at the same level which it was kept on.

Solo 5 doesn't come with a Sub. If u want that extra boom go with the JBl.

Don't buy this sound bar. After getting my LG soundbar stolen I ordered this from Amazon for just over $200. I just received it today with great anticipation. Fyi, I did extensive research before deciding on the JBL. Upon setting it up I immediately noticed the difference in sounds. The LG, which I had for 4 years is much better sounding as it packs more punch and the sound is a lot more balanced. I am highly disappointed with the JBL and I'm going to return it. The sound has no depth, mid range is almost non-existence. It's like having some tweeters in front of the TV and the base coming from the sub. The sound is so harsh no matter what you do with the sound setting with the remote. As I increase the volume the sound is more unbearable. Just imagine bunch of tweeters blasting in your ear. I paired it up with my phone and tried using the equalizer in the phone to find the right sound but it's just not possible. I really miss my LG soundbar. JBL's quality has gone down significantly over the years and this sound bar definitely shows it.

JBL 2.1 or Anker Soundcore Infini Pro ? Price difference doesn't matter... Sound quality matters... I specially want it for Movies
JBL 2.1 only cause is comes with a Sub.

Ohve yes, you can google it many people reporting that. Thats why I returned mine months ago. I got Samsung MS650 instead and this issue is not present. Also it sounds way clearer and has a centre channel for movies.

The sound quality compared to Polk is horrible. I got the Polk, the one with much better sound quality.

I just got mine 3 days ago. It plays for 30mins then it turns off. Then back on by itself after 1 min. Then turn off again after 3 mins of playing music. I dont know whats causing it. Help please.
