    I read the instructions twice. Nowhere does it state how to change the pressure - the top just says "Push - Lock". I pushed. I twisted. It wouldn't move. I was on my way to get a pair of pliers to force the knob (figuring it was stuck), and decided to check YT first. And at 1:21 you say "Lift up - Turn - Push down". THANK YOU!!!!

      You are most welcome. SOME stuff is well made in China but let down by the sheer lack of instructions!

    Ta - the regulator lift and turn may be standard but that was not in the instructions in my box - and as first compressor I did not know the standard - so thank you as without this I wouldn’t be using it at all.

    Wow this was just what I was looking for. I have recently bought this compresssor and a Badger Patriot 105 airbrush - and I simply cannot find out what hose and adapter I should use to connect the two. Can you help out? The screw thread on my airbrush is 4mm.

      Hi. The easiest option is to purchase an adaptor kit like this one: KKmoon Professional 7pcs Airbrush Adaptor Kit, just search amazon for it. You can "stack" them to end up with the desired conversion. Hope this helps

    • @ModelMarvels
      @ModelMarvels  5 лет назад +2

      HI. Yes, its really simple (on/off switch and pressure regulator). The only thing to bear in mid is that you don't get the air hose (or airbrush) with it as there is no "standard" fitting. An airbrush fitting kit connector set is a must - unless you already have the correct hose. We have used it to spray a 1/72 model, both halves of Uss Voyager (once in black, once in silver and four times in white!) plus some other little jobs and so long as it not used constantly for hours at time it will be fine. You can then invest in a good airbrush, which is the important bit of the system. I use a Badger Universal - had it for about 10 years now, no problems. It is expensive but it works as a gravity feed (cup on top) or syphon (glass jar underneath). Hope this helps.

    Hiya i know this is late but im just getting back into miniatures and painting in general. I now want to give a go at spraying my bike frame, and i also have a small old radiator i want to base coat and air brush. Do you reckon this would do or do i need a bigger compressor/tank?

    • @ModelMarvels
      @ModelMarvels  4 года назад +2

      Hi. This would work as the unit charges the tank continuously until full pressure is achieved. It will however take a long time to spray if you are using an airbrush. Just let the unit cool when using it for prolonged periods.

    • @ModelMarvels

      Hi. You need to adjust plus or minus until you get the desired reading on the gauge. I'm not sure what the min and max settings are but turn it all the way down with an empty tank, switch on and you should get below 2.5bar

      Hmm, just had a look. Ours, the button moves easily. It would probably be easiest to unscrew the trap from the compressor (when fully empty of air) and tipping it up to see if it will drain. You may need some ptfe tape to put around the thread when you reattach to give a good seal.
