I love nopalitos. Reminds me of my Nana Fita and my childhood visiting her on her Rancho Grande in Queen Creek Arizona. Nana was always in the kitchen cooking up big meals while Tata was out tending to the horses ,cows, and chickens and working the ranch. Good memories.

U can also make them with pork meat... I like them just like that alone with red sauce and I add queso fresco. Also u forgot the beans if ur gonna make them with meat, it makes everything 10x better. Beans and Nopales go hand in hand.

Corn tortillas have a lot of carbs don’t they and sugar? I was told to stay away from those and flour tortillas. My A1C #s are 5/6 so my doctor said stay away from carbs and sugar. Aren’t you diabetic?
