What is your favorite 300 blackout? I’m thinking about the Banshee 300 blackout. THANK GOD you guys went over the 223/556 cause the first gun I bought moving to Texas was a Daniel Defense 556 VII. I put a lot of money in the gun and hadn’t heard about people having success with it. Can you guys post more 223/556 videos killing hogs on your channels. Thanks

I just shot a boar at 40 yards with a 12 gauge sabot slug and the darn thing ran off into thick woods. What the heck? I know I hit the damn thing. The only thing I can think is bad ammo because my nv was sighted in still. These darn hogs are absolute tanks!
I don’t think it’s the scope or the ammo….it’s like you said, they are just tanks! 😬
I know this is resurrecting a dead thread, but have you any info on using subsonic ammo? I see lots of videos with people using supressors but with standard ammo. Only hog I have killed, or shot at, was with a .44 mag pistol in western NC.
What are your thoughts on using AR-15 chambered in 7.62x39? I've been using an Aero Precision AR 15 with great results.

7.62x39 is great for hogs. My go-to is a bolt action Ruger American in that caliber. Super accurate rifle and has no problem dropping them with proper shot placement. I like plain old soft points but a lot of people use hollow points as well. My shots are almost always under 75 yards but I would not be afraid to go out to 250+ with that particular rifle if I ever had the chance. Actually just killed a boar a few nights ago at 75 yards and dropped him right in the corn pile he was eating.
Been thinking about getting a ar15. My set up is over bait site. 50 yards or less. Could I get multiple hogs if the shots are lung shots after the first shot.
It depends on how far it is to the woods or cover. If the cover is 30 yards away you’re going to have a hard time getting follow up shots. Those hogs are going to scatter like quail when you shoot and it takes a few seconds to get back on the next hog. You need some open ground to get multiple hogs, but the closer you are for the first shot, the better luck you’ll have. If you shoot the first time at 100 yards it’s going to be harder to make a running follow up shot if the hogs are running away at that kind of distance.

so which 223 ammo are you using now? I thought you said you were using a Hornady 62 gr boattail hollow point but I can find them. Can you clarify that Hans?
Yes sir. In the Hornady I’ve used 50 grain Full Boar and also used 62 grain bthp in Remington 👍🏻
Cool ..thanks Hans..my Dad is coming in from out of state and wants to use his 223 and shoot some hogs so I told him he needs better rounds so Ill try the 3 rounds you guys mentioned on this episode. I shoot a 300 blackout Hornady Black 208gr AMAX thats like a sledgehammer. Just waiting on the suppressor like the rest of the known world.. thanks for everything you guys do!

Not trying to be a dick, but a QUICK Google search pulled them right up... two clicks after selecting the first result, input my zip code and found 4 local shops that have it.
Need to try out the 30 Remington AR-15. That 30 Remington was released in 2008, pushing velocitys of 2600 fps. Carries like a 223/5.56 has knock down power of a .308
Have you tried the 350 legend it works fabulous on coyotes and hogs at 100 to 200 yards.

Hey on a side note can we please quit saying a AR10 the pink and blue and purple haired people might come at us.. AR stood for ArmaLite. Like assault rifle is fully or three round burst giggle switch. I do not want my DB10 to be associated with an AR. Please I beg you if we can disassociate it maybe they won't come out ours when they come at the ARs
