I actually really like my 2021 GTI in its stock form. Manual trans, plenty of turbo sound for me, and it rides like a family SUV while handling better than my old Corvette. Easily my favorite hatchback of all time.

Silly question but is an air intake actually good for you car and has no negatives? I’m thinking of getting one for my Golf R 7.5 but not that clued up and you seem to know what you’re talking about.
@@Michael-wk1kjintakes arent bad for your motor really. They build boost a little quicker and add turbo noise a little. What @allfather1206 is referring to is the blow off valve. These cars come stock with a great diverter valve, and putting a blow off valve on them will slowly ruin your engine.
@@Michael-wk1kj yessir. A Diverter valve spacer gives you almost the same noise, with less risk of damage. But you would also loose a tiny bit of spool speed
@@Abdullah-ry2wq turbo flutter sounds cool, but isn’t good for your turbo. Reconnect the DV, the sound won’t be worth it when you’re picking turbo bits out of your engine.

VWR600 Intake Sound is the best ever
Sounds cute lmao. Great way to tell everyone you have a stock tiny turbo.
mad
how does turbo flutter define the size of said turbo?
I get this with only apr stage 1 93, never had it till i put the tune back on a month ago, ofd
juice box if u had this sound it means u have a problem in your stock dv cause this sound not coming from tune only
That’s what happens when you unplug the diverter valve
sounds like a ssq
Hello budy, how are you? Very cool that flutter sound, what did you do to stay like that? Use what DV? Hugs.
Selmo Salles Hey, Simply unplug your stock DV sensor, but be careful it’s not good for your turbo don’t take it hard.. enjoy 😉
Ok, tanks friend
Abdullah why tf would you do that
Daniel Warren Just enjoy the noise of turbo 🐌
Where is the sensor located
if you want a similar sound i’d personally go with a dv spacer at that point. no need to slowly destroy your turbo for a kind of cool noise.

@Abdullah-ry2wq not good for the health of your car to unplug the diverted valve. If you want to make cool noise get a downpipe.
