I can only imagine trying to find a left handed metric nut to fit that motor after I drop it in the mulch and lost it. 🤦🏻. Nice quick fix thanks for the video.
Hey there...this was a really helpful video - thank you. QQ...I have the Fujitsu AOU48RLXFZ and I am unable to find the condensing fan motor online. Any suggestions?
I'm getting a code on my fujitsu.9 blink, 7 blink on my indoor unit. Says outdoor unit fan motor 1 error, Duty error. Also on my outdoor unit I'm getting 15 blinks, outdoor upper fan fail. Can you help me with this? I'm thinking about replacing fan. Not sure if that's will fix it tho.
My unit showed code #11 serial communication error. Repaiman, after 4 trips in 25 days in 80 to plus 90 degree heat, had unit running again for $740 Replaced 3 outside circuit boards plus condenser motor. I was told faulty fan motor blew boards. Any experiences like this?
Truthfully no.....they were unfortunately chasing their tail on your unit.... condensing fan motor isn't going to cause any of those boards to fail....mini splits are very SENSITIVE to voltage spikes...Just from the details given I'd say to be on the safe side to have a SURGE PROTECTIVE DEVICE/SURGE PROTECTOR INSTALLED out at your disconnect for outside unit . I feel like the condensing fan motor was just something else that broke that it was non-related....
@@hvactipsnow9892 Thanks so much for your time and advice. Running 2 Fujitsu units, 6 and 5 years old resp., love unit operation but have had several expensive repairs for age of units? If could get nice free red Fujitsu shirt like yours, I'd be more than satisfied! 👌🏻🤣

Thanks for a perfect instructional video mate. I had a different model but your process was so well explained it carried over, no trouble at all.

Which bearings are on fan motor for outdoor unit? 09leca Fujitsu model.
Great video. Where did you buy the new motor and for how much $?
It was ordered from Fujitsu dealer, and was under warranty.
Any suggestions on how to remove the fan blade if it is stuck to the motor arm after removing the nut?
They do make blade removal tools.
what is that job worth parts and labor?
Fujitsu beautiful video from start to finish fix the plate #LETS EAT....

Where can i buy a new motor?
Have to order from Fujitsu
Can this kind of motor be disassembled to change bearings?
No unfortunately not
@@hvactipsnow9892 Extremely lame. Those are running at ~150 EUR currently, and they don't even have it anywhere.
@@hvactipsnow9892 Thanks for the info 🙏
My unit won’t heat up. I Had a fujitsu guy spend about 6 hours on it and still nothing.
Sounds like you've got an inexperienced technician and I'd ask for who ever is the lead technician to come out or try a nother company .....
As
Fujitsu! 😂
