What an amazing young man you are, very polite too, a credit your parents..wishing you every success with your channel I have subscribed and looking forward to seeing your videos.
I have no doubts Akasa is going to be big. The big reason behind that would be Aditya Ghosh. For those who are not aware, his skills and efforts are what led Indigo towards the path they are on, to be the biggest Airline in India and one of the biggest airlines of Asia. Also there is something very warm and friendly about their entire getup, starting from the clothing the cabin crew are wearing to the color of the seats. In this market, i hope both Akasa and Jet 2.0 succeed. India's aviation story needs a resurgent triumph.
Also, don't discount the impact of the leadership of the likes of Rakesh Jhunjhunwala in making it a great airline. He is an amazing person overall and very astute.
IndiGo is now such a big airline that even with Mr Aditya not being a part of the airline, it has a very bright future. He was a part of IndiGo for 14 years and to bring it to what the airline IndiGo today is, he worked day by day to bring it to what it today is. Even if he's in Akasa now, he won't be able to provide the airline the 250+ planes which IndiGo is currently operating. Now that the government will do away with price bands on domestic flights, airfares would become cheaper in order to attract more people and this will leave Akasa struggling, thanks to IndiGo which would be aggressively pricing its tickets.
@@EtherealMisconduct And also order almost 700 Airbus planes. IndiGo leads the low cost market in India and The Asia. Hope Akasa comes to that position too !!!
@@mwm78 Tbh, it will take Akasa almost a decade to give a fiery competition to IndiGo. I too wish to see Akasa at a good position but given the fact that IndiGo, which actually is a wonderful LCC with energetic, friendly crew members, good in flight meal choices etc., apart from its mega 250+ fleet of airplanes, the going would be extremely tough for Akasa. It would definitely eat into SpiceJet and Go Air's market share though, cause SG literally is the worst airline in India now and G8 too doesn't have a great market share in spite of being better than SG. For now we can just wait and watch that how the new airline progresses.
@@mwm78 Akasa isn't giving Indigo any competition anytime soon. Actually, no one will. Indigo owns more market share than the next two airlines combined
It's adorable how eager you are to put people at ease, so endearing! I hope this is indeed the future for India, less corruption, less sexism, classism etc. India has the ability to check China's power, it being a democracy hopefully they can keep attracting investments and continue to improve the wellbeing of their citizens.
Josh, I came from your IG live video!!.. Amazing inauguration video!.. How cool to be the first non India to fly this gorgeous bird! Congratulations Inua on this beautiful plane!!!
My husband just immigrated to the US from India 2 months ago. You doing this video means a lot to both Josh, thank you so much for taking the time outta your busy schedule to celebrate India’s accomplishments♥️
Josh, so nice to see new carriers starting service around the world and the av geeks that celebrate them. Loved the crew pic at the end of the flight. Keep these videos coming. I finally got back flying after a sixteen year hiatus.
You are really encouraging me to return back to flying with your lovely comment, I need to Scout for money to revalidate my cabin crew licensed😘😘😘😘 Thanks a zillion
Hey Josh, just came from your Instagram Live! I’m really a big fan of yours! Thanks for flying UG Airlines again. Could you rate it out of 10? I wish I knew you were in Delhi because I’ve come here for Uganda on holiday, though I live in UG. Keep up the great work! Edit: Finished watching this video, and it was so nice seeing avgeeks from all over India gather to see Akasa Air’s first flight. The cabin looks amazing and I seriously believe they’re going to give IndiGo (one of the best Indian airlines in my opinion) a good run for their money.
While most nations are facing recession, inflation and diplomatic failures, India...India is providing opportunities to its businessman and anyone who wants to contribute to the growth of India. Thanks to JHUNJHUNWALA the owner of AKASA AIRLINE for introducing a new airline service to its citizens in this hard time.🙏🙏🇮🇳🇮🇳 EDIT: MAY GOD BLESS HIS SOUL, WE LOST THIS WISE PERSON TODAY(Just after 5 days of inaugurating his Airline service)😞🙏🙏
This vlog was just amazing, from the celebrations to how great that plane looks but what got my heart was that little boy, I hope one day we see that he's made it and flying. That airline is just an inspiration to many airlines out there. They all look so happy to be part of this. I was also beaming with pride that so many people recognised you. Amazing review Josh.
Enjoyed your video so much Josh, the birth of another hopefully successful airline. You are so friendly, make friends easy, makes me appreciate u even more.. safe travels..
I wish Akasa Air all the very best for the future. It indeed is a gift to us all countrymen to be able to board the newest airline before our 75th Independence Day. I really loved their approach towards sustainability, starting from uniform to packaging. It is true that Indian aviation is on tough ground, and Akasa has a lot to go, but it is on the correct path! Joshua, as usual, loved your video mate. Keep growing, and more power to all the AvGeeks.❤
What a great airline. "Yes" it is new but the crew were delightfull, the livery very exciting and a bonas food is available via purchase. I wish this airline the very best of luck in the future. It was another great vlog Josh
Hey Josh. Awesome video and glad to see everyone's excitement for the new airline. Looking at T1 made me nostalgic when I used to take Jet and AI before they moved to T2. Hope you had a good flight back to Mumbai with them as well.
The most comprehensive review Josh!!! I watched the review by 200 Journeys as well, but he missed capturing the essence of the journey. Your video is excellent, and good to see airlines prioritizing the comfort of their crew members as well. Hopefully, in the future, they will stay the same and not discourage vlogging unlike some airlines in the past. ;)
Very nice! I just booked a bunch of local flights within India for the next few weeks. I wished I had known that Akasa Air was going to launch, I would have waited and booked my flights through them. Oh well!, will keep them in mind for my next domestic flight. Best of luck to Akasa Air, hopefully they can figure out how to stay away from the issues plaguing other local Indian carriers, like cancelled flights, late departures, unfriendly staff etc. or at least figure out how to minimize these issues.
Indians are sick and tired of flying Indigo all the time, we desperately need some other player to come and break this monopoly, not just for better pricing, but for competitive service. I hope Akasa grows and becomes an established airline in India, we miss the days of Jet Airways, Air India and Kingfisher Airlines all flying in same time and providing different options in terms of both pricing and services to us.
@@justtravelling3040 I feel that IndiGO is way better than SpiceJet and GoAir. I would never be disappointed to travel with IndiGo. Despite being a LCC, their crew is really good. Seats are also pretty comfy with good legroom.
@josh they have got the man who built indigo in their founding team (Aditya Ghosh, Ex indigo director), they are bound to give indigo monopoly a tuff time in the indian market.
