As a person working for akasa air i truly believe in what mr aditya has said in this conversation. The humbleness and sincerity one must have for their job should not just be motivated by money. The core values of akasa air can be seen throughout the company from the top management to its most junior employees. This podcast was really helpful and i learned a lot of things, motivated me to be the best version of myself and keep pushing forward. A huge thanks to the entire team and mr ghosh as well 🙏🏼 for this podcast.
Vistara always. Whatevr Aditya said here is all dilusional. Customers only seek value and nothing else. Given them that and they will stay with you and only till you keep giving. Infact indigo and Akasa should be berated for lower the airlines standard where they didnt even offer water. Vistara is the game changer.
What an absolutely beautiful episode! I've only ever been a fan of Mr. Ratan Tata but Aditya has won my heart! As an ex pilot and now an entrepreneur, I'd love to talk/meet him someday. Open to an intro if there is any chance in the wildest of the possibilities of this universe :)
At 29 minutes where you mentioning about experience, vistara have taken a lead in this and are driving quality and adding premium for the quality while indigo has offlate lost its mojo.
You know, I would happen to read certain books about the aviation industry and FMCg to understand what actually goes behind the curtain, but the way Aditya sir explained it to what it is there to operate an airline in the inherently loss making business and building a profitability bridge into that boy, been his FAN from the Indigo days, GEM of a person, all thanks to Shantanu sir to bring people from the backstage and explain their magic and asking questions which actually make sense and gets me the knowledge of about 5 books in just one podcast, thanks man.
Amazing podcast. Just love the way this podcast was conducted truly sequential. Also salute Aditya Ghosh Sir you are simply great. And my favourite Shantanu Deshpande sir big fan of you and your company. I am a frequent user of Bombay Shaving Company.
He is speaking a typical CEO language simply indigo had fair share of run of running economically best airlines until they could not the best not the worst customer first approach is common in every industry its nothing new but he was indeed able to implement for long time for that hats off to him ! But unnecessary academic spoech really
If he valued safety of passengers so much, he wouldn't have gone for a all B737 Max fleet. Akasa got a great deal on those planes, because no airlines around the world wanted to buy them.
Very very informative podcast for youngsters like us. Mr Aditya is great gentleman with yeas of experience and sharing all the beats and pieces of information for our generation. And Mr Shantanu is an active listener and asked those exact wuestions which were needed to heard. From now on I will try my best to follow this channel. Support from Bangladesh!
What a delightful episode! As a supply chain professional, I'm exploring marketing strategy, human psychology, and micro-level customer understanding through Shantanu's podcast.
Despite Akasa's touted superiority, I unequivocally maintain that Indigo's seat comfort surpasses its counterpart. My posterior experienced significantly less discomfort on Indigo flights compared to Akasa, which merely boasts larger seats without commensurate cushioning. The latter's seats are woefully deficient in adequate padding, rendering them inferior to Indigo's more ergonomically designed seating. Akasa would do well to address this glaring shortcoming and augment their seats with enhanced cushioning to justify their claims of superiority.
Iwant share a different perspective based on my wife's experience working at Akasa. While the company may project a positive image publicly, the reality on the ground is quite different, especially in terms of workplace culture. My wife has faced consistent harassment, including body shaming from her female supervisor, micromanagement, and microaggressions. It's disheartening to see that despite the company's external commitments, there is little support for employees dealing with such toxic behavior. It’s crucial for companies to foster a healthy and respectful work environment, and I hope Akasa takes a hard look at the internal culture and implements real changes to protect their employees.

Capital letters for Nouns ?
Listening to this podcast while waiting for my akasa flight which just got delayed by 2 hours 🤣🤣
Is it really the most on time flight?
Indigo has become pathetic now
It’s a gabfest for someone who is dying for a stage. Can be tightly edited to a crisp 30 min of essentials and save all our time
Absolutely right.
I felt I was the only one thinking about it
Data without context and story is not entirely digestible !
also the chewing noises were annoying
The interviewer asks long winded questions. Leading questions!
IndiGo and Akasa are not affordable. Sometimes Vistara is more affordable than these two.
Even I prefer vistara and air india because of the food.

Infact indigo and Akasa should be berated for lower the airlines standard where they didnt even offer water. Vistara is the game changer.
And yet they both are quite successful. 😂
I hardly get anyone liking flying in Indigo...

Please guide me to the timestamp where he gives a reason for flights being delayed and customers harassed to sit without AC for 4 hours.
I watched till 59:43 and tbh, absolute waste of my time
The podcast is all about 2 bald men
He was our hero in my 6e days

Proud to have done schooling from where he did

I admire Aditya since Indigo days compared to the flamboyant ones in those days. Also he is so chill but detailed oriented.
Great convo...as we go up the ladder, people at top seems more genuine, less corporate bullshit, less jealous. They retain that innocence some how.

Great as always. Thank you for doing this😊😊..
Don't pay employees for doing their job. In the meantime, I will join as CEO for not less than a 10 cr salary 😅

Akasa choose the wrong fleet of aircrafts .. It will fail eventually.
Indigo has scale and Vistara Air India also has the fleet size and scale ....
This dude thinks he created a spacecraft not a shaving blade.
Tu apna shaving ka smaan bechle
Thank you Shantanu for doing this and Thank you Aditya
Good one 👏🏻
Opened up my mind on how close we are to the market gaps and it's a matter of being more observant and curious! Has to be the best insight for me

Maybe his Career started from BPO

AB ye AA gya language teacher. English hai foreign language. Toh bol Raha hai woh. Tera problem kya hai ? Sun ha hai toh sun , nai toh mara o.
His principles are what made indigo the giant it is today! Very insightful and inspiring Aditya sir🫡
