Being able to knock one out in 10 minutes at his age is impressive 👏

The finishing on the Lange is the very best in watchmaking, above or on par with Patek. I recently purchased a new Saxonia Moon Phase with the rose gold black dial, one of my favorites. Excellent video, Mike, thank you and very well done. Take me to Germany to visit Lange & Sohne nest time you go.

Great review. ALS is still just about affordable now but it will shot up again because those pieces are just out of this world. It is getting harder to get now.

Nice to see Mike talking about something other than how much AP Rolex and Patek are trading above MSRP. Which I no longer watch.

I'm saving for A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Up/Down. But I'd love to have the Lange 1! Still deciding.

great video, would personally put in an 1815 chrono and a saxonia thin into the top10 ALS watches.

Great selection Mike. It would be good to hear a bit about Walter Lange’s daily piece - the original Tourbillon pour le merite.

Great review. I have a question, why are the Germans allowed t call it German silver? 🤔

    • @iamlegend6937

actually I have never heard a german say that, only people from other nations

    • @iamlegend6937

but if you trust wikipedia, itz seems that germany was the first western country that really tried to master the production of the material even if it was first used in china

ALS and PP are the kings of watchmaking.
But ALS is the pretty queen.

The Datograph is too big. The 1815 Chronograph is a much better fit on the wrist and the best pure chronograph bar none.

One thing I don't like about the Lange day-dates is that the date digits seem to be at different heights (eg see 8:02 on the video - the '2' is higher than the '5'). This looks super cheap, like some kind of bodge.

It sounded like how everyone else pronounces it- Especially Germans how do you pronounce it oh wise one and he isn't saying Lung he is saying Lahng-ah. I think your ears are broken.
