Exactly. Would've been cool if Wonder Woman, Aquaman and some other characters got some love but yeah...Batman: Elseworlds. Hopefully going forward, we'll see other characters get some love in Elseworlds.

lets be honest, ask any random person and when asked what is DC, most only know the big three. Superman... has projects elsewhere. Wonder Woman... after the abyssmal 1984 movie, they are letting people have time to forget it. and Batman.

4/6 Deathstroke isn’t a member of the batfamily. Heck he’s barely a Batman villain more of a Titans villain and before you say “well it says dark knights of steel so it’s Batman” I’d like to remind you that Dark Knights Death metal had Batman in it but was a Wonder Woman event.

Someday maybe. There's plenty of stories there for that. I think one of my first comics that I read as a kid was Distant Fires, where all the non-powered humans died, all the metas got depowered and the end of the world was (as I recall at least) the result of in-fighting between different factions of the non-powered former metahumans.
While it's awesome to see the Elseworlds why so much around Batman. There is so many cool characters that could have the spotlight and so many characters with cool stories to tell.
So Gotham by Gaslight gets its own Superman? Lets go!!

@@Batt-man Only 2 things worth hating about that universe :-
(1) Alfred/Martian Manhunter's death because of the traitorous Amanda Waller, and her getting spared without any consequences.
(2) The unfaithful deed done by Jor-El and Martha Wayne, although wrong, it's consequences weren't bad at all, so I am kinda conflicted about this one.

Elseworlds an imprint that gives the opportunity for anyone to tell literally any type of story that they want with any of the plethora of DC characters without having to deal with continuity….. and you make all of it about Batman like usual

90% of Elseworld is just focused on Batman.
They should make a Wonder Woman Elseworlds story set in ancient Norway where she’s the daughter of a Valkyrie and one of the Norse gods like Odin or Thor.
Would be cooler (and more in line with her real origin story) if she was magically born, instead of being the daughter of a male god.
@@julio.dealmeidabranconeto5831 In the comics, WW is the biological daughter of Hippolyta & Zeus. Though, in her original origin story, she was molded from clay and brought to life by Zeus. Either way, she was brought to life by a male god. Though, her being the daughter of a Valkyrie is a must for an ancient Nordic Elseworlds version of herself.
Edit: Though, maybe Freya, the queen of the Valkyries, can create WW herself, making her a special Valkyrie. Maybe she created her using a hair from herself and on of the other gods, like Odin or Thor… Probably Odin.
@@n-tree3003 she was only the daughter of Zeus in the New52 time-line.
In the main universe, she is still made by clay, and given life by multiple gods and goddesses, not just Zeus.

I’m pretty sure she was brought to life by Zeus striking her clay body with a small bolt of lightning and then was granted magical gifts by multiple Greek gods. I don’t think DC is very clear on who was responsible for Diana’s birth. It was either Zeus alone, Aphrodite alone, or the 6 gods that had also granted her their gifts. 🤷♂️
