  • Proud to finally release our Wolverine fan film "LOGAN THE WOLF".
    It was shot in 5 days in France in the forest of Fontainebleau.
    This project was made with volunteers only. Everyone put their passion and talent into the film.

    I can totally see X 23, Daken, Omega Red, Hulk, Sabertooth, Lady Death Strike, and Wendigo fit in perfectly in this universe

      I could see that, though they’ll have to change the ethnicities and species for some of them.
      Ya know Daken being half Japanese and Wendigo being North American wouldn’t work in a Nordic based verse, Sabretooth would probably be” Vik The Bear” since Sabretooths haven’t been discovered yet.

      Will forever be the most annoying thing from an otherwise perfect performance from Hugh Jackman.
      Wolverine/Logan was supposed to be surprising at how brutal and ferocious he actually is due to his small stature. You look at a towering hulk of a man like Jackman and don't want to anything to do with him.

      The ONLY one that comes close is Logan's final bout before he dies. Something they have in common is how they incorporate the lore into their fights. Logan with his desperate and brutal style of combat due to age and this with it's use of common Viking weaponry (axes, shortswords, polearms and wooden shields).

    This Logan that just tanks everything without thinking about consequence is so badass. Fight choreography is insane, so much is happening but you can still follow. Hollywood can't even do that without CGI or slow motion shots.

I saw every detail that you wanted to convey to us. And this is correct, unconditionally. Everything is as it should be. Maxime is precise and inimitable, a real Wolverine. Laurent is a great guy, both an actor and a visual artist, and Maxence is just incredible. He's so convincing that it gives you goosebumps, and I'm not talking about audio effects, but about his appearance and emotions. He's an actor, absolutely. Warlegends, the best. The whole team, the best. Maxime and Godefroy, your idea will turn their whole torment upside down.

      Same! I wish studios would start making new stories in their universes. Star Wars for example can't seem to get away from the Skywalker era. Bitch, the movie said a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. Why can't you tell me about that far away galaxy, not so long ago. Or a REALLY long time ago. Hell id even take a story from a galaxy not so far away. Marvel is the same. HUGE universe. SO many stories could be told. Instead we are retelling good stories poorly.     Kickstarter. Make a full movie. This was the best Wolverine I have seen on film outside of Logan. The acting, directing, choreography, the whole thing was better than 90% of anything the MCU has ever put out. This version should become canon.

    Man, what a movie!
    Explicit violence, extreme brutality, in other words, everything we expect from a Wolverine film.
    Only a fan of this hero could create a story that encompasses all his rusticity and violence.
    Congratulations to director Godfrey, and it would be interesting to see a feature-length film of this story.

      I would prefer they do disappear since scars are an evolution failure on the healing aspect compared to many other animals since they are living tissue that does not function as good as the original meaning he was getting weaker each time. if you cut his arm and he reattaches it his muscles would not be as strong as before if you cut in the right angle meaning he would be less of a treat next time. I would prefer that the scars forms and stay for a while then the body with time changes back to normal again.

      to me it was 10 percent frightening and 90 percent realistic. reminds me of the latest batman where dude has to pump himself with juice just to get through a fight and his eye make up didnt magically disappear. more real the better sometimes

    This was an absolute pleasure to watch! The action, gore, cinematography and direction was brilliant than most of what is in mainstream cinema these days! Phenomenal job to all the cast and crew, the stunt work here was the main highlight for sure!

The acting, choreography, location, costume design, directing, production, script, writing, fx, etc. Great story telling. How is it a 11:54 short film is better than a 2 hr. plus garbage marvel movie, they've been putting out lately, or for any other crappy Hollywood movie?     There's a lot to be said about something this incredible, beyond generalized compliments. To be specific, The dialogue was good, the scenario was suspenseful, the costumes looked authentic, the camera angles were exciting, and the fight choreography rivals big budget action films. Overall this looked extremely thoughtful and professional. It truly is uncanny.

    Extraordinary fan film, probably amongst the tops that were ever made. I was expecting people to attack one by one just like in the rest of the other fan films, but you guys did your best to make it look like an actual fight. So many small details go unnoticed in such fast paced scenes but I see you worked hard for every set piece here. Nothing to say but a huge RESPECT! I hope you guys can keep the rest of it and your works won't go unnoticed!

    I like that despite the element of surprise the fighters were facing. Those fighters still had all the right ideas for containing Logan, as they strategized, including isolating his arms the best they could and breaking off his bone claws. They do not just fight him off blindly.
    It's just, that he is Logan The Wolf, in berserker mode.

La cohérence du scénario et dialogue, Les one shot de caméra, l’acting, décors, chorégraphies, fx et la BO. Cette master class cocorico dépasse les dernières prods Marvel Disney.     This is how I wish all Wolverine fights were like. When you got 12 inch metal (or in this case bone) claws and that's your primary means of attack and people aren't getting splattered all over the place then there's clearly something wrong with the people in charge of making the movie and or show. This right here. This is Wolverine done right. I could watch a whole series of this and I would genuinely pay money for the privilege because this is top quality stuff. This fan film has accomplished something that none of the films have ever accomplished before. They made Wolverine exactly as he should be: brutal, ferocious, and extra bloody.

And if that's not good enough to convince you, he literally had his claws cut/broken off by the axe when he was fighting from the ground position.
