It appealed heavily to my complete lack of an attention span and wicked sense of irony. Beautiful piece of art!
Nice short film...well done...great acting...thank you...hope to see more
Daaaaaamn. Well done!
Hugo here from NYC (Bethany's friend). GREAT WORK EVERYONE!!!
great work everyone! so good!
This was awesome
!!!!🤩!!!! Bravo 🙌 👏 👏
Good story just need to get it out there for everyone to see
Really great little film, well done to all involved
I thought it was awesome! Great job to you and everyone involved. Hello from NH,USA
WV loved it as well lol
I rescued and raised a Raven. She is a blessing to me! Hopefully this will be interesting
Came here from Laughton Mckenzie, amazing short film.
So how do you know laughton
Hrafn is not Loki's form. It could have been Hugin or Muninn, raven servants of the All-Father. But I think this young woman was tricked into mercy. Her companion was right.
I believe it was Huginn who tried to warn her... Goes to show that we often allow our own emotions to translate omens and communication for us... Often with one hell of a price.
Mercy is never a trick
Nicely made, but the author did not understand what the word "viking" meant to the Norse people nor their customs and practices when confronted with a situation like this. They would not have rejected a child on the basis that she wasn't "viking". And even during the Viking age, murder among the Norse was treated as a serious crime and punished severely.
arrows with plastic parts(arrow rest)??? give it please..
Great stuff..! Keep it up.
Skald!!
I don't understand the ending.
Plastic on the arrows and perfect 2X4s supports for the tents?
0:22 ...And those plastic arrow tips....
Plastic notch, it was invented by the Vikings of China!
They are called nocks. And yes, the plastic nocks made for a very noticeable error.
no, those were cast tree resin...just looked like plastic.
@@AffordBindEquipment I think the point is that they look modern.
@@EscarHolmez it was a joke....
somebody really needed to show her HOW to hold a bow string and arrow properly, even if just for a few seconds of good film realism.
Well, that went pear-shaped in a heartbeat, what?
Just found this. Great movie!
Fun fact: rasberrys vere not present in Europe before the dutch imported them in the 17th centhury.
you know shits gonna go wrong when you got a raven watching you
Plastic nock on the arrow?
soo good
They could have just as easily killed them at the beginning? What is the reason for the subterfuge?
Good one
Could the Vikings have been as many cultures were and still are today, making the same decisions as by taking in the child as a family member (adopted), killing the child, or, enslaving, or selling the child? Depending on the era of the finding of the child and the sincerity/value of worth of both sides to the prisoner/survivor and human life?
"We are going Viking." It was never what they called themselves.
Hugin and Munin the ravens of Odin. Always two raven. Sitting on the shoulders of Odin. Odin knows everything because Odins knows birds language
its ok... arrows of vikings didnt have plastic ends and she has bad pozition(technik) of right hand by shooting(normaly is hand more high and in between of eye and ear) so is visible that she had never shooting
Was plastic nocks around in viking times, as there is a bright green one in her quiver.
Are those plastic pins on the arrows?
what's the name of the song in the end credits
Hey 👋🏻 It’s called ‘The Raven.’ I wrote and sung it and also acted in the film as Magnus 😊
Hail to all the not pickers here! 😠❤️🔥
Wait, how did she get modern day arrows?😆😆😆
They would have just taken the girl back home as a slave. That’s what they did.
Since when did Viking women use mascara
hahaha first minute and I see plastic nocks at arrows, deaf wildboard and technique of aiming bow in Elf style.
Yeah, the minute I saw those plastic nocks I knew it was a time-travel movie.
Wow! I didn't know Vikings invented plastic arrow nocks and nylon bow strings. Dupont violated thire patents.
Invented by the Vikings of China
Chin draw on the bow? Still its a fun film. Need to give them a break on the equipment, they have a low budget. Kill the kid? Bondi are valuable, and it's her prize, she found the kid.
I'm 5 minutes in and no Cake yet?
❤I glad u all same to get it so the 🐦⬛ raven was who and who shot the arrow s 🏹 tell me lost 2024 Philadelphia
Plastic nocks?
Vikings took slaves. Almost children. Viking was a journey not a tribe. They went for viking to trade or to battle and steel things, like gold, slaves, food, silk, wool. The tribes name was Danish, Swedish, Norwegian. Never heard of the Danish vikings conquering England? Harald Blue Teeth
Morrigan's will, Morrigan's way... Queen of the Ravens, Goddess of War!
What, do you really not understand who the Morrigan is.Dummy
1:01 Eddie Izzard Cameo
Magic girl.
No wonder she missed, her stance is wrong, she had her fingers wrapped around the string ,I do like the modern day plastic nocks though. lol
Amazing pretty lady!
that was a bad call, you'd have to say.
Roky neumí přítel tě zabít čisté jé umlčet jiné 💓 zbraní.
C'est bien connu, les vikings sont très sales 😂😂😂

All this Dirt and Fur... it's a comedy.
Why does the Raven look and sound like a crow?
Back then they worried about someone being "viking" or not
Now people like me worry if they are even white or not, in Europe at least. And it makes me laugh that they cared about such little things compared to what's happening here now.
Even during WW2 they cared about being Germanic or not, skin colour didn't matter, it was about ethnicity.
@@trollking99 Lanuage isnt relevant, religion isnt relevant, but the race itself.
@@jaysonwitting4671 That's my point. You mentioned that Vikings cared about who was Viking over 1000 years ago as being something little. But WW2 was not long ago and the Nazis cared about who was Germanic (Aryan) or not regardless of language or religion. Even if Slavs or Anglos had white skin, that didn't matter because to the Germans they were inferior and an enemy.
@@trollking99 But germanic and slavic are language groups, not racial groups, which is why slavs can be "aryan" as well, because they're the same race, white (except balkan countries, they're usually a bit darker like the rest of south europe)
@@jaysonwitting4671 That may be true, but the Nazis did classify them as racial groups. People outside of Europe may classify all Europeans as white, but Europeans themselves will differentiate each other based on region. A typical Italian will not say they are the same race as a typical Swede for example. Even in Asia, a Filipino will not say they are the same race as a Viet even though they are both Asians.

Nice spin off from NFLX Vikings, but pointless from an Existential perspective.
Vikings? 😂😂😂
utter nonsense. The "king" would certainly have (tried? this screenplay is such a convoluted, senseless mess) enslaved the child. everyone involved in this mess should try to get their day jobs back.
& & &
Bad, very bad. Simple, mediocre and talk about nothing.
Mmmmm.... Not that good.....
what's with the stupid dirt on all the faces? you would never have entered a small tent and tried to draw a bow...no room, and no way to react to a possible counter. They would also not have referred to themselves as "viking". Viking is not a noun, it is a verb. There would also have been no questioning the girl because she was a "woman", particularly if she was hunting with you, or fighting in your raiding party. This was overall, clumsy and filled with modern tropes that could have easily been avoided with a tiny bit of effort.
It’s a film, not a documentary, I don’t believe they are trying to be anything other than just entertaining.
Most people are educated well enough to understand the difference:)
Constructive criticism is invaluable to filmakers, maybe educate yourself a little better and appreciate it for what it is -a short film to entertain :)
@@TruthSayer-zm6tu and as a ''film''... it was a failure!... @shawncarter5619 was right!...
A música atrapalha demais ... O tempo todo um som tirando a realidade da cena. Ninguém que gosta de Cinema quer ver um Filme que fica te forçando a ouvir uma orquestração sonora o tempo todo.... Cenas lentas... Demoradas !
