If it’s a 955i Daytona dyno tuned by Matt Capri it dynos 15%+ over stock. But had an old built Norton Dominator. When my mechanic gave it a tune he found out the rocker arms were backwards. INSTANT 25% increase in intake and exhaust. It was an old school no digital tune but it made a hell of a difference. 600cc but spanked everything but a 750 Norton scrambler and a full Dunstall 750 Atlas both refused to run for some weak sauce reasons. An engine is only as good as it’s tune.
Engines don't need back pressure as long as the exhaust is made right the reason everyone says you need back pressure is because it helps with exhaust scavenging and velocity
I lined up my 117 stage 4 Breakout against my new 131 stage 4 Lowrider S and didn't see which way the Lowrider went. Got absolutely SPANKED. Some sweet looking baggers in this vid mate.
If it was originally a 117 putting a 124 isn't going to help because the stroke is different. A 124 would be for a 107. 128 would be for a 114 or a 117. Need to get it checked out with someone that's competent when you can. Also sounded like it needed a tune. Maybe an issue with the cam (if there's an aftermarket cam installed). Hard to say, but at the very least it should have been a 128/131 instead of a 124.
Just did a 124” S&S Hot Set Up in my 2014 Fatboy Lo but swapped the 640 cams and high comp pistons for 585 gear driven and 10.2:1 pistons. Running D&D Fat Cat 2 into 1 exhaust, S&S oil pump & cam plate, Trask Billet clutch basket, Manowar gear sprocket, HPI 58mm throttlebody with 6.2 injectors and a Screaming Eagle Heavy Breather intake. It dyno’d at 116hp and 137tq. Those 11:1 pistons and 640 cams that come with the kit are supposed to bump the numbers up to 140 square. I’ll lose a bit though due to it being a “B” engine. At 5500rpm it falls on its face. Lol. I should of stayed with the original parts in the kit but wanted to keep my temp low. Oil temp runs between 250-270 right now without an oil cooler.
Did you install the exhaust at the same time as the cam? I have a 18 Road Glide with the D&D billet cat.. I feel like it could sound better. I'm sure the cam gives it a different sound though.
@@w.j.5973 I installed the exhaust first then the cam. The exhaust was much quieter prior to the cam. That 475 just woke the living piss out of the bike and made the exhaust much louder.

If he did the 124 kit and put slip-ons with no baffles and also did a high flow header pipe then there's definitely not enough back pressure. I'm hearing that keeping the stock header pipe is actually good on the M8 because of the back pressure and you don't lose your low end torque. Probably also needs to be tuned

At bike purchase 20 percent off no out of pocket built into bike loan plus gap insurance so no risk should it be stolen or totaled. Bike made 116HP 116TQ so no slouch. I am running a Fuel Moto Road and Track Jackpots 2 into 1 pipe with a Ghost pipe. I have a S&S 475C Cam kit in my bike, remote tuned by Fuel Moto with a DynoJet Power Vision Tuner..
@@beardsandboxing3436 thank for your reply. I do do a lot of highway riding and I am leaning towards the power cam. I respect your input, thanks for putting your knowledge out to me
Yea man a good tune makes all they difference 100%.
That fat tire kit as fucking bad ass
Have a question I have the same bike and set up you have would like to know if you had the same problem I am having I’m a lg frame guy with broad shoulders but with my new bars just like yours I ain’t see down my side to the rear I’m in the way what did you do to get your mirrors out side to look down towards the rear the bars are so close in I’m having trouble finding mirrors that fit thanks if you could help me out
Hello.
I have 2022 fltrxs. I am planning to install s&s 475c cam. My muffler is mk45. The current air flow is 114 stock air cleaner, so I should upgrade the cleaner, right? Tune with dynojet pv3. This south korea, what kind of air intake do Americans like.
Have a nice day ~^^~
What’s redline on that thing?
6200
I'm holding you to the 128 I had cam for one year wanted more in right now getting zippers 128 and stage two head work so do it just get it done 😆 lol
U should be thinking about a clutch and compensator asap
Can you tell me the name of the solo seat on the gray RGS?
CVO Seat
I just did a stage 2 torque cam with Harley parts because I didn’t wanna loose warranty. If you take your bike to the drag strip your definitely gonna have to upgrade your compensator to one like Man O War! The Harley one will not take that ! Possibly a better clutch too! Check out Cycle Fanatix on RUclips for his build & parts list 👍
Yeah, he blew out his clutch the other day.
Warranty & performance?
Stock 107 generally makes about 79HP 106TQ
I did stage 3 with SE tuner intake & S&S streetmaster 2-1 exhaust to retain full warranty. At bike purchase 20 percent off no out of pocket built into bike loan plus gap insurance so no risk should it be stolen or totaled.
Bike made 116HP 116TQ so no slouch. You can add speedo off switch to defeat the speed limiter. Bike goes 140 according to phone gps. 18k miles still under factory 2 year warranty. Just saying to a reasonable point you can have your cake & eat it too.
That said post warranty next iteration to this bike will be machined case for aftermarket jugs with Carrillo rods & 4.250 bore for 139ci and 160 plus HP.
helmets my dudes!
I rode Harleys for 12 years. Bought a 18 Wing and walked a guy on a 20 Street with aftermarket tune parts leaving the local Harley dealership. He made a lot of noise behind me, but couldn't catch me. Paid $18k brand new for the Wing.
trator
@@billgonzales8978 That's capitalism. A real American buys what he wants. And why should I pay a dollar a gallon for gas just because it is a Harley. I still have a Sportster to ride around town and make noise. And that is "traitor" omg
You giving up doing videos?
No, I have like 4 videos filmed, I just haven't had a chance to edit them yet. I've been very busy over the last few months. New videos dropping soon!
Great info, I dint know there’s a difference between Harley parts to aftermarket parts. I’m differently using after market parts now.
Great info. I have a HD stage 4 and I’m bored now. Lol.
Badass bike!
I am pretty sure that that 124 kit was probably pretty expensive compared to the stage two cam on the other bike😮
Exactly right..
Where you from im in Michigan. 2021 rg cvo 131 crate motor. Come see me
SE MI
@@DOOWORKMOTORSPORTS where at I’m in Macomb where you guys riding at
Your bike pulls hard brother
I was thinking about the 475c cam... you just helped me decide
Well done 👌👍
Yeah, very happy with it!
You buy a CVO and you don’t know what engine is in it?
absolutely agree. ..been buying my parts little by little, 131 kit with s&s camchest kit,man of war compensator, rekluse clutch kit....2019 street glide special 114...great video content
I got a 03 ultra, TRICKED OUT, with a S&S DRAGON T143 ON NITROUS. Havint wacked the nos yet but engine made 170hp and 162 torque 😮
Who puts a 124 kit with no tune?
Man I wouldn’t be out there banging on that 124 without a tune, that’s asking for trouble and could lead to premature engine failure from detonation or a number of things, it’s an extremely big deal. A good tune can make or break it, that 124 should have walked on everything out there, especially a tman kit
I’ve got a 114 to 117 stage 3. All Harley parts with warranty. It runs good enough for me. It beats all my buddies and my dad so I’ll leave it as it is.
My 2019 fatboy 114 stage 2 with woods runs just fine. I'm not spending big $ for little to not much difference.
I don't think that CVO is supposed to be a 124... it's either a 128 and nobody knows it or someone mistakenly installed a 124 on it and that's why it got smoked by a 114.
Its a T-Man 124 Kit.
Pretty sure its neither if that was a 117 cvo. Unless someone changed the stroke it should be a 128.
124ci T-Man Kit.
@@DOOWORKMOTORSPORTS ok, so whats the stroke?
@@patrickstevens5457 Not sure, but I have the receipt from the work done on the bike. Its a 124" Pro Street Kit from T-Man. Has a 520 lift cam, 4.180" piston kit, ported heads etc etc.
@@DOOWORKMOTORSPORTS hmmm, the math works out. Nothing against ur bike but whoever built/tuned his bike messed up somewhere that should drag a 114. Of course as BA as those wide front tire kits look they slow the bike down.
Can you post a new video
Working on it...
He needs a helmet before a tune at least....
I love racing, but not so much in town around traffic, even if they see you , they don't expect a hundred miles an hour in a short distance, you can't stop a 8 hundred lbs. Sled that fast, ride smart stay safe , beautiful bikes
Did the fuel Moto “ tune” mean they sent you a tune to load into the power vision or did they actually do a dyno tune with your bike? Also do you have the jackpot 2:1:2 or just the 2:1 and what slip ons?
They sent me a tune to load into the power vision.. And I had the jackpot 2:1 with ghost pipe..
