Man completely honest i had a 128 SE straight warranty build ran my buddy's 114 with a tune and Red Shift cam and we stood side by side all the way to 110 and my bike shut down. Speaks volumes for what a cam and tune can do
I installed a full Stage 2 with Dyno Tuning on 4 of the last 6 bikes I had (including 117 CVOs): Screamin Eagle Cam at the beginning and S&S475 Cam later. It's the best bang for the buck. Numbers on paper is one thing but real life performance is another.
I was going to go with a stage 3 screaming eagle kit when I ordered my 20 Breakout 114. The sales manager talked me into a Wood Knight Prowler 22x cam with a tune. I added the heavy breather intake and Vance and Hines short shots. I love Harley, but I'll go with aftermarket every time for power. Depending on the air temp, she's good for over 120hp and about 130ft/lbs. We happy.
That great that you were able to hold your own against the 131!! You were able to keep right in the meat of your powerband. People think that the rider has nothing to do with a drag race, that you are just along for the ride, but thats not true at all. Reaction and keeping it in the power band will make up for a LOT of power! Bike looks and sounds great!
Man.. Prime example of how exhaust effects power. You pull out on the true dual exhaust bikes til they get up in the revs. My wifes stage 2 103 15 street glide pulls on my 19 107 stage 1 road glide even when I had the V&h pro pipe on it. I need a. Cam and I need to lose 100 lbs 😂
Harley for show, Triumph for go. My 20 year old Triumph turns an 11 flat stock. But who knows what else might happen. Don’t want to over stress the engine but I do like a little speed off the line. A minor sprocket change might shave off a few tenths while still pulling maybe a 135 too instead of 158. Anybody tried that on any Triumph triple?

I have a 117 CVO 2020 Street Glide And I’ve gone up against 128 kits and yeah, for sure they outrun but not by much. 0-60 is 4.3 seconds and I’m stock(just header pipes and Khromewerks exhaust on my bike). 128 0-60 is 3.8 seconds and while faster especially if going for 1/4 mile, for me just not worth the cost for the return. That said, $ not being a factor, who doesn’t love more power 😂
I always think motorcycles look weird when people don’t wear helmets , just my opinion, if people want to die , I believe that’s up to them! You were kicking ass and taking names!
People don’t realize most in big bore kits use Horsepower cams and a V twin is not a moto go sport bike . It’s under square so torque caries it’s spend with a heavy flywheel van a sport bike over square and lighter flywheel horsepower carries a sport bike and it’s looks up fast so you can get into the power band unlike a slow spooling Harley so you need the torque to get it down the road . What scoots harleys down the road is torque . You guys keep saying horsepower and on a dyno chart the horsepower doesn’t hit max until 5252 rpm and below that the HP is in the dirt because the Hp yet important is a calculated number that reaches peek at over 5000 Rpms when the race is over . Unless full on drag racing at WOT we don’t ride there . It’s like a diesel . Torque is high on a Harley off the clutch and that what gets you moving , passing and walking away up to 5000 rpm not the horsepower so these 131 unless your racing to top speed are a waist at bottom and mid compared to your 475 smaller grind cam . Your doing well with these guys because you have a 475 cam that gives you grunt down low and mid that carries . It’s not about numbers , it’s about the curve and if both curves are right then the numbers matter when apples to apples . I bet three 131 builds have taller cams that are horsepower cams that don’t wake up until 3 to 4 k rpm and by that time you got them and they can inch on you slowly after they get into the power band when your already in it with your 475 and it doesn’t matter the bigger 131 cubes by this time . Those guys may have bigger numbers on the dyno sheet but it means nothing when the curve is bad and you may have less dyno numbers but you have a better curve . Your 475 cam is one of the best Ho/torque cams cuz it has it all and your cam is better under cubes and compression. The orange is not worth the squeeze with a 475 in a stage 2 but still a good cam for it . If those guys had your 475 with there 131 , they would have left you and walked away . . I have a 128 S&S build with a red shift 468 cam 64 mm throttle body , 5.5 injectiors and I’d smoke you . I’d put money on it . Not to be an ass . My bike generated 140 ft/tq at 2500 rpm almost out of the clutch. Everyone who rides with me says my bike just leaves an explosion of dust cloud and leaves road stripes and I just disappear like a magician . They get jump on me and I real them in like nothing with stage 2 , 3 , and sometimes stage 4 if the people did the wrong thing like above on there big bore builds because of bad set up . A good torque cam will carry a wall of torque with the combo until 5500 rpm then you see your horsepower peak. look at dyno charts . The hp is no where to be seen on the chart where we ride a V twin . That is why these guys can’t make the cubes work for them to toast you . You can get a HP cam that have bottom torque and it will be increased with head work. Sometimes bigger throttle bodies kill low end or make it better , your exhaust . It’s a recipe , not look at my big jug and big cam . People treat it like showing off on Facebook without living in reality and knowing the tech behind it . I know you enough to know you shouldn’t be excited about them not trashing you. They need to worry what they did wrong . Your bike is sweet though . Last but not least a FP3 tune is not a tune from a cell phone . You need a full dyno tune with TYs Powervision etc . With a reputable tuner . It’s the difference in night and day and it costs more but it’s worth it . I had my bike professionally tuned . I can listen to a bike with a cell phone tune I call it . It thumps at times when idling with no lope . My bike sounds like a top fuel drag car when idling . And it has advanced timing and it raps fast and hard because my tuner tunes for racing . A general FP3 cell phone tune is like buying a big as truck with mud tires to found out it’s only 2wd . People are starting to realize this . That is why moonshine Haley’s last build was a 143 with a short grind torque cam. When I here horsepower and Harley with no mention of torque and curve I cringe especially along with a F03 tune , no wonder these guys waisted money on big builds that are flat . My bike pops wheelies if I don’t watch it . Those guys bikes won’t .

Yea man, I did the S&S 475 cam chest kit on my 2019 Fatboy 114. I also got the HPI throttle body, intake, V2 air cleaner w/external breathers. Good Golly Miss Molly the throttle response is amazing after getting it dyno-tuned. I had the S&S Super Street pipe on it and the catalytic converter melted closed on me. S&S would not warranty it. Therefore, I ditched it for a Royal T Racing pipe. It is shorter and freer flowing. That was a mistake. My dyno guy could not remove the low end torque dip it has now due to the pipe being shorter and free flowing. I feel it. It doesn't pull off of the line as hard as it did with the baffled longer S&S pipe. It shouldn't bother me because it still pulls like a freight train. But it does, because I know that it isn't at its full potential. So, right now I am contemplating selling the Royal T pipe and going with a V&H or maybe the new Jackpot Riot from Fuelmoto. I am currently researching dyno numbers on these pipes. Anyway, keep your bike the way it is. Big Bore kits prematurely kill the rods/crank. You'll regret it.... My advice.....HPi throttle body and intake. YOU. WILL. NOT. REGRET. IT.
Very good comment! Im from switzerland and chat with zipper what can i do for an additional to the cam, i clearly said i dont wanna change cylinder an pistons. 114 lowrider s with redthunder 2in1 exhaust

@@sheryo17 The HPI throttle body and intake is the way to go. Look into a Woods 22XE cam (I think that's the name of it) and get it dyno-tuned. You'll have yourself a long lasting reliable rocket.
@@Uncle_Dirt Yes it's the right name, but i order the 468 Zipper's cam 17T crancket and 7.1 injectors (you have to change it with new throttle), can give the model of your throttle and the size 55 58 ?
Thx
@@sheryo17 I went with the 58. You may want to call them. Yell them what you got and they'll recommend this or that. All I know is, the hpi 58mm TB out-flows the larger Screamin Eagle TB.
@@Uncle_Dirt i send them a email, no answer so i ask at cycle shop, the guy from zipper say it would decrease the lower and mid torque but improve th hp! I wait for the answer of cycle shop.
Harley lover here, but go getva indian challenger and do a Lil 4k upgrade and absolutely walk away from all 3 in this video. B E A utiful bikes sound great look great. 👌
Awesome videos! Love Harley Drag Racing! I think you will run a 12.8 as long as you are not dealing with altitude…
Street glide for the win
Put a Star 30/30 cam , 64 mm tb& 64 mm aluminum intake, port intake also . Sometimes going bigger is not better, put pistons in your bike bore to 117 w / higher compression nobody would know loop
He also had a tourpak. And he looked like a big dude. It all plays a factor.
Watching these bikes running through the gears makes me appreciate how fast my Busa is but I do like the vtwins..
Did you check the vid of a 131ci harley leaving the stock busa behind?
I will try this same matchup and post it. I wanna see if those guys just didn’t know how to race or if my 131 just sucks 😂😂
I’m thinkin you have rider mod over these guys and maybe a bit of a factory freak
My bike is a stage 3 but want to change cams for a little better performance. It was a 107 now 114. If I want performance though I jump on my old 86 Honda V65 Magna. Be thankful for rain. We could use rain. We’ve had drought and lots of fires. Crops are garbage and it’s been a bad year.
Great vid! I got Screamin' Beagle Stage 2 on a '19 RGS. I give most bikes the business... 😉😎
Guess I'm going with the S&S 475c cam lol
Try 30/30 Star cam
Either you have the best tuned Stage 2 on the world or there is something TERRIBLY wrong with that 131 🤷♂️
Thanks to Fuel Moto lol I am very satisfied with the performance of my bike!
Bad ass bike bro check out my 883 stage 2 with cams and clip-on bars, video sucks but bike is nice. You got the sub bro great video
A 117 with a stage 4 would become a 135 and I have a131 screaming eagle on a Dyno only puts out 121 horsepower . I've have bought 9 Harley's and the best bang for your buck is a stage 2 from my experience.
Racing without helmets? Insane!
I always wear a helmet. However, most people in Michigan don't..
@@DOOWORKMOTORSPORTS that’s good
@@DOOWORKMOTORSPORTS they’ll start wearing them after they kiss the ground the first time. If they live to talk about it. I’ve hit the concrete twice myself and both times my helmet made contact with the concrete.

power cam v torque!! Torque won every time because it's what you need too get up and go!!!
12.78 sec quarter mile
They look slow bro my 1200 sporty with 98 hp will eat them baggers up they don’t stand a chance
Races were to short, if you would've stretched them out you would've seen a bigger difference
A roll on is not a drag race get real
Id be scared to run like that on them shitty roads in Michigan 😂🤣
It’s all about sustained torque.. not peak HP.
Love Harley but also tell it like it is way overpriced way underpowered lot of good bikes out there
Not worth bragging the rights. Just ride
Damn does anyone get over 70 mph ???
Also that 114 you have is bad to the bone, I wouldn't spend the money to gain the horse power! She is Bad the way she is!
TRUMP 2024 🎉
If dork on the street glide knew how to ride….
Whatching harleys race is like watching a turtle race! LMAO !
Cool fucking turtles tho
