- What do you think about my Longboard? I had a lot fun trying out something new and figured i should share it here. I actualy thought cutting shapes into a longboard would make it too instable.... turns out thats not the case!

Gorgeous board, it really sticks out by being unique. Do the holes make the board weaker in terms of weight being applied to it when riding? I don't know much about longboards but has it held up well with use?
I am a total longboard riding newbie as well 😂. I just enjoy building them. Yea it actually held up well but i could have built it better with the knowledge that i have now. And thanks :)

What kind of trucks are those?
Youre bending technic looks genius, did It work for the concave?
It worked great every time I used it. The main drawback I would say is that it's just a lot of clamps to tighten on your own especially when you want to hurry because of the glue. But it requires very little preparation and defenately get's the job done
@@makermind2050 Standart woodgloo hase an opentime of 15 min. That should be enough as a carpenter i should be able to do it

Probably like 4 hours of work. Mostly it was waiting for glue or paint to dry. Plywood is reaaaally cheap. The damn skateboard trucks were by far the most expensive part 🥲. The board itself was like 20€ and the trucks and wheels around 100€

Hi. I would like to print a model of how you made the longboard, but when I printed it, it printed it too small for me and I tried to modify it in any way, but it still pushed me too small, so I want to ask you if you would could they print it out and send it to me ??

@@samuelz2214 a rig that allows you to bend the board easily while letting the glue dry.

How much do you weight? I wanna use this template but I'm like 170
I am 180 and weight 70kg
What’s the weight limit on it or could I just use a stronger wood instead
Because I weigh 225
It is really fragile so i would use stronger/thicker wood as well as smaller cutouts.
What trucks did you use
Randal 180 trucks ...but i just used them because i had them laying around. They aren't ideal I'd say

I used plywood. But it broke after a while. You should reduce the size of the holes if you do
Love the dedication, but why didn't you just buy some poplar plywood? You basically made your own and I get some have gaps, but you could have used like...arctic birch and had a rather fast build. Idk, just a thought that popped into my head.
Do you mean cutting the board out of a thicker sheet and not glue multiple ones together? Well If i don't glue it it would be dead straight ..for that reason alone I glue sheets together. But actually I never saw anyone take a single plywood sheet for making a skateboard .. interresting thought :D

So i've been thinking to build a smaller longboard (like yours), but i don't have any dimesions or something to follow. I really would appreciate if you could send me the board dimensions or a link. (Great build btw) :)
My boards total length is 810mm and the width is 190mm and the wheelbase is 640mm. Hope i could help :)
