I'm learning quite a bit off your videos so thank you. A man last fall ran into me and my wife pulling out of the lake and we started sharing what was working with each other. He shared with me your Little John and a certain color. Now we own a bunch of them and thanks to your video we will be buying more. Thank you for your help!
Thanks for showing the variations and seasons you throw the Little John's. They are my absolute go to crankbait in 5 feet or less. Thanks again for your expertise......
Crankbaits and bass boats can never have enough glitter!! I love colors with lots of it. We need the color your friend paints for your prototype you had on the lure designing video!
Pig Pen is my favorite color- disappointing to hear more ppl don't throw it. I guess I better stock up huh? I need some spring, western, and green pumpkin craw to- they look perfect for my area. We tend toward stained water but it's not super muddy- so the in between colors work great.
I also like sunny bream. Great color in smaller bodies of water. But I don't think there's such a thing as a bad color in the little john line up. The little john just flat out catches fish. You did a great job designing it. Go smash um at your next event.
All the colors are fantastic, I like the brighter craw patterns, here in Oklahoma, we tend to have dirtier water. What is the best water temp for these?
I've been wanting this video for so long! Thank you I've always been into little johns but hesitant on what colors to get so now I have more confidence. So many makers have rattling baits why did you make yours silent to start or do you think the bass can still hear that coated ball bouncing around in there? Thanks John!
Hey pal quick question ... Do you think that using the color on the bills adding that and alittle smell.from the die markes will help fish track and bite the bait better ?? Thanks John .. Congrats on knoxville finish . cant wait to follow you at pickwick .
I am sorry John. I fish ponds. Not alot of Shad. Bluegill colors are the bomb for me. Even the KVD 1.5 Sexy Shad squarebill crank is my choice over Shad colors. Over Covid this crank caught me hundreds of Largemouth Bass. I caught 43 Largies in a hour and 15 minutes. That's when I started to count. It, Just depends on where you fish and the bait fish that are in the water. Yes, Spro cranks are awesome. Very well made. This is just my experience with Crank's. Shawn.
Spro only making flat side these days? I have several spro crankbaits but their mostly traditional. I do have four or five flat side's in spro but all but one are still in the package. Guess I should watch some videos so I would know when to throw a flat side🤷
Great baits, great designer.
Orange tiger stripe for life!
I would love to see one in the old school white and black spatter back. I've caught so many fish on that color in the lakes around me.

I just ordered a few Little John's. I really like the craw patterns and the root beer chartreuse looks awesome.

Spro makes a good Lil crankbait. I have caught alot of fish on them. Can't wait to try the little john rattling version.
Got a few lil johns from tackle warehouse on the way. Looking forward to putting them to the test!!
Almost skipped over that Rayburn red type R, caught a 5,7, and a 8 on it today. Spring craw is a prespawn killer too
NICE!
Old glory color, one of my favorites in Michigan.

Need some bluegill colours in there! Also you need to make a flippin tube for missile baits!!!!
I hear ya
I love the little John md. It has strong, sharp hooks and I hate to change out the hooks but I wish it came with short shanks

Oklahoma angler here too. I like the spring craw
@@Brizendine7 I will have to check that out
On tidal waters try olive craw in the fat papa 55 series. That color has been money for me here in the Mobile delta. Spring craw is a money maker too.
Oh yes

I am a Rootbeer fan in stained water
Please make a Bandit Mistake in the little john and little john MD
Would love to see a Zoom Hickey style bait come out from Spro.
Thanks for the video! And don't light - silver tees scare off fish, do you think? Dark tees are better , it seems to me , for careful fish ...

They make some round baits. I was just showing one box. 👍🏼
No bluegill or perch patterns? That pig pen looks legit for a perch color... wonder why it's not a big seller.
Not sure either
What hook size do you prefer on the Little John?
Homemade Shad is Legit!!
What about blue gill patterns?
I don’t throw a lot of them 🤷🏻♂️
I cant remember the name but I thi k it Memphis craw? It's mainly a blue craw pattern
Bluegrass Craw.
@@JohnCrews YES! I knew what I thought wasn't quite right but you can see where I got Memphis from lol. Thanks for the correction
Need some old school Coldwater
Spro = 🎣
I have been catching them on sexy Shad 1.5’s around the bank
