From top to bottom your series of baits are one of if not the best line of billed baits out there. the sticks and papas are right up there as well. The only thing I’ve been wanting to see is hard topwater baits like poppers, ploppers and walkers. With spro nailing unique categories it’s probably tough to do with the hundreds of topwater plugs but I’d spend my money on them if they decided to put some out!!

Wow what a great explanation of these baits . How about a spring , summer and fall sack / package for your RUclips fans. Of 4-5 baits in your favorite colors for each season with an included card reviewing the selection of baits and colors? I think you would be shocked how many you would move . I know it's not always easy to find a big selection of these in stores at times. Thanks and look forward to your response. Keep up the good work

Thanks John for this video. Been with SPRO for nearly 10 years and this will help Anglers find their niche in the SPRO lineup. Fat John 60 is my favorite go to for SE Texas lakes.

Thanks for the great video! My wife and I got back into fishing three years ago and living in the Ozarks bought a few RK crawlers and loved them. A few months ago I branched out and bought a few of your baits and have done very well on them. This video will help us use the right Spro baits at the right time. Thank you!

You are right, your baits are unlike anything out there. That 70xl has became my favorite big fish bait. I have 2 series of baits all of yours and the dt series. They both have there place. I am glad you made this video because everyone needs to know about your great designs.

Ive never been a huge crankbait guy, but early this summer I watched your video on deep crank color selection. Picked up a couple of DD70's in Citrus Shad and Cellmate colors. The Cellmate crank has been about the ONLY bait thats consistently caught me fish this summer! Getting ready to order a few more! Thanks for designing a great bait that really works!

These are a phenomenal, and well thought out, line of crankbaits. They've become my favorite plugs, especially, on the clear water highland reservoir lakes I live next to. The super DD has outperformed every deep driving crank I've thrown to the point it's my number one choice when probing the depths. The Little John squarebill and MD also rank at the top of my "confidence hardbait" list. They have the added benefit that when you're retrieving you can stop, give a little slack and the bait will pivot 90 degrees. A bass can't stand a bait that'll turn back on it! The whole lineup is awesome and I especially appreciate that there is a tool made for every depth and every situation. If you enjoy throwing a crankbait pick one up and try it. I can almost guarantee you'll be back to buy more. Unless, of course, I compete against you in tournaments. Then by all means keep throwing the something else. ;-)

Thank you John. This was really helpful and it was interesting seeing the process you went through, or at least part of it. Already had plans to pick up the fat baby but going to add the larger one to the list as well for the memorial day sale at TW. Hopefully Spro will be participating. Also planning on a restock then of a couple of missle baits and want to give your new quiver a shot. Hoping to see them on sale then too.... cough... cough... hint... hint... LOL! Thanks again sir!

Hey John, I love the videos! Just a quick question I had about this line. At what time of year or water temperature do you switch from the little john 50 to the fat john 50 or 60 to get that wider hunting action? Thanks!

I love me a good wakebait! I think they’re under rated and under-utilized. So many sizes, actions, profiles, etc... And they just seem to perform so well for me. Mostly a bank angler, so shallow, top water, mid-column or hybrid (like 6th Sense’s SwimCrank, for example) baits are my usual go-tos. I love wakebaits, glides, swimbaits, and small well-weighted cranks with good hunting action (among many others). Def gonna have to give some of these a try! And can’t wait to see the line-up expand!

Do you ever use braid on cranks around heavy cover to get horsing power and still maintain a small diameter to not impede action
