It brings joy to see your father so excited about the Gleaner. I know he is probably dealing with a lot of emotional pain being without your mom. I hope he knows his fans care for him!
That is what I have been doing wrong all these years!! I remember the tool bag,, but I forget the snack bag!!!! You the man Dax!!
My earliest memory of riding a combine was with my dad on his open station 95B John Deere cutting rice
What a awesome video your son will be running the equipment before ya know it he already has the basics.
Nice seeing BJ get some seat time! Great video
Awesome video Brian as always. I like the saying " oogleing" over the Gleaner. Would love to see you all get a Gleaner just for your dad's sake.
My mom would run our 200bushel EDDINS grain cart on a John Deere 4020 tractor open station and she'd load it and unload it. We unload the combines on the go with her on the grain Cart. She was a talented hard working Woman.
I can see another gleaner combine at Brown farms again in the near future
I like these guys so much that even if the video was Brian sitting in the hut counting corn an entire video, I would probably watch it. Keep up the good work, Brown family!
I do believe I was just schooled by this country's next gen farmer.
Great to know our future is in good hands. God Bless.
I am glad you and wife share your silliness, That is exactly how a happily married couple should act!
My daughter does the same thing like Dax when you asked him if he had been eating chocolate 🍫 that was hilarious 😆 she laughs and says yeah I love chocolate.
Your son is a joy to watch you can tell he loves hanging out with the working guys!! He will be a great hand in the near future.
Gleaner sure has a good lighting package. LEDs sure light up the night.
That combine should have the 9.8L 7 cylinder Sisu engine. The Sisu engines are impressive. Ran one in a MF 7495 and an R75.
Not sure which was funnier, the "Jesus Christ hope he doesn't run over us" or the grain tank full light. I actually laughed out loud!
I love the sound of the Sisu in the Gleaner.
B.J.Running like a Boss!
Enjoying the Gleaner footage. THANKS Brian!
Just proves...your kids watch and listen. While crunching chocolate 🍫. Go Dax !
Drive that Gleaner.
P.S. I've never gotten a woman that looks like that delivery. You are BLESSED !
That Gleaner looks like an awesome machine. It's really eating up the acres.
One of the varieties of soybeans we grew were called Davis and in late November early December they were prone to shatter but they were in the 70's faitly good yielding beans except in drought years
A few things...
You can adjust that rear axle and the stops as well. Moving the rear axles out 1 hole significantly reduces your turning radius. Also adjusting the steering stop bolts will help with your turning radius. I can turn my s98 with a 40’ around no problem on 80’ of headlands. Also. Very important. If you didn’t already know check the engine fan before you start it for raccoons/cats. You will be amazed on the amount of damage that occurs to the fan and radiator when...well you know. Still amazed Agco hasn’t figured out a way to shield the engine fan. This has been an issue since they came out with the reversing fan on the S77’s
Just a tip: grab a good leaf blower and blow your machines off at night. That way you keep them cleaner and yourself as well. That way you aren’t getting dusty first thing and itching the rest of the day. Glad to see you guys are liking the gleaner.
Enjoyed the gleaner content, would be nice to explain the differences that set the gleaner apart from the rest.
They are the best, that's all you need to know. lol
Gleaner all the way!! Great video as always!
Sisu, now AGCO engines, are pretty good on the fuel economy
liked the vid glad to finally see someone run the gleaner and make a reasonable non sellme vid
Great video Brian! Loved the Gleaner content. I think it's super cool you're all taking some time out with the machine. I will admit to being surprised to see BJ get behind the wheel but he seems to have acquitted himself nicely. Keep up the good work sir.
I'm no psychic ,but I think I see a couple of Gleaners in your future.
Take all reverse bars out and add three sweeps to the sep. end and then you can push it to 100% engine load all day with no growl.
love when kids are able to help a little more on the farm
Y'all did an excellent job even your brother. I'm more impressed by that gleaner. Still an excellent video. Have a great weekend.
Great video Brian. Gleaner has always been my favorite combine.
I am totally loving you guys testing out Dem silver machines..
Don't blink, they grow up fast. And Dax is also.
Brian great content as always, awesome comparison between the two combines. BJ catching on pretty quick. Awesome!! Great vid as always keep them coming. Catchya at the next one. Have a safe harvest.
There's a long rod laying on the clean elevator. That is used to clean out the debris in the rock trap.
Love when the little man was telling his daddy how to run the gleaner!! Brian to you have your hands full with your wife. 🤣
Need to see that beast with a corn head
YES!!
Trainin the Rookie, Gotta Love It. Not gonna get him out of that seat now. You the man BJ. Cheers...
Hi ,watching in the uk,we have claas but haven't see a gleaner combine over hear, seen and driven, and worked on many makes off combine, thanks for the vid, all way watch, and fumes up
Way to go BJ! I'll drive the grain cart for you next year so you can stay in the combine. I think Dax will be ready soon
OK brings you food and makes the best kind of tip jokes... better put a ring or 3 on it!
Brain is living the good life. He's got a ride along mechanic that cleans windows & brings snacks, Doordash delivery that will accept the "Tip", a new Gleaned to run, and $10.00 beans to pay for it :)
The old guy did have a point about checking the wheel tracks LOL
Look like a good weekend for weather
Thanks for the laugh I couldn't stop laughing after your explanation of why it went yellow then red
Funniest thing to me was the light turns red. Immediate panic attack! That means we have all been trained to stop when a light turns red.
Cool video
Thanks for watching
The gleaner is nice. Awesome video and TY for sharing
When brother BJ turned towards you, all I could think of was the movie son in law!
C13 in my 9895 Massey. Tuned. I’ll take that all day eve day over the AGCO motor. No emissions is a big plus. More torque. 40’ dyna flex and a 12 geringhoff Roto disc corn head
That is a minty setup
Brian, great video. Just relax, BJ will be fine - he will get her done. Like that Gleaner, you are getting her some well deserved exposure.
Best thing is you can get a different adapter and put the Macdon headers on Gleaners. Just need to change the sticker on the end of the header.
Great Vlog, It seems the Claas has got jealous, of the Gleaner and broken down, it's a shame the Gleaner is only 35' cf with the 40' macdons, it's not really the BIG option you have discussed in the past, thanks
So cool finally seeing b.j. in the combine also dax is opening up that's pretty cool I'm a father of 3 older brats now they grow fast thanks too you and your family another great show!
Our R66 runs 10-11 gal of fuel per hr with a 30ft Draper so that’s still good pushing a bigger head that fast ours have always turned well wonder if there is more adjustment? I’ve never been in a new new one tho always about 2 series old when we get them
Thanks
I see a couple silver combines in your near future
Good job BJ. Enjoyed
Would be supprised if they had a gleaner next year
You got it on tape!!!
Just for a minute....🤙
Very nice video, thank you.
You're auto-reel speed might be on and every time you set the header down it goes to the auto speed. When you adjust manually, it overrides auto reel speed.
Another good one men.
So BJ is learning to run a combine at night in beans. Wow, don’t make it too easy🤪! Guess if you start that way the rest us easy!
Alright, are you ready?
Yea buddy! Fastest yea buddy possibly ever 😆
You had me dying when you were talking and then said “Jesus Christ I hope he doesn’t run over us”! That was funny as hell 🤣🤣🤣
I had to back the video up and rewatch that part a few times.
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always!!!
Brian would slowly the reel down help the head loss? Also maybe combining later in the day when the dew sets in??
It’s pretty obvious that Brian has no interest in owning a Gleaner. Enjoyed the videos!!
Brian get use to the grain cart. BJ is now a combine man!!!!
Gleaners dynaflex started it's life as whites quick cut sickle and I was before it's time back then for flex and cutting clean we ran 5.5 to 6 mph with our 7300 white in 50 bushel beans
I quess BJ is taken over picking corn the rest of the season, subscribe to kayla, thanks Brian greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Hey Brian, always good videos. What made your Dad go away from Gleaner years ago. He really seems to like the Gleaner. I remember we had a N6.
Good stuff. Good job BJ on running the combine and not wrecking it. Wrecking it would of made a better video though. ( next time ) lol
Great job!
Thanks
Thanks for the video! We used to run Gleaners lost our dealer so switched brands. Really curious about the new Gleaners!
Our dealer is 370 miles away, in ten years of running them he has never made a trip to work on one. They are great machines and easy to work on, if you ever have to.
Nice.
I can't believe there wasn't on onslaught of comments regarding "the tip".....
Dax and his tool belt is the best!!
I cant wait to see the batmobile in action
There are good beans on both sides.
Surprised B.J. got Bob out of it
My most favorite job of all when combining, BLOWING OUT THE COMBINE, HAHAHAHA!!!! Just love getting all that itchy dust all over me. Cheers
BJ , don’t do it, if you do, then you’re going up all the time. I was always ok to the top of grain bins , but half way up the leg was it.
Gleaner made there rotor 48% larger in 2010 so its going to eat lot more efficient then the old R’s and N’s
Not necessarily true. And not 48% larger. We could do as much with the old 8 bar pfp rotors back in the r72 days. With less loss. And no emissions b.s. to deal with. Yes the cab was noisy and you could hear the Cummins for miles at night... but they pulled all day and night. That goofy 7 cylinder sissy that’s in them now... once you pull it down below 2100 rpm you had better be pulling back on the hydro and reaching for the header switch.
@@harleymo761 Bullshit, our sissy's as you call them can pull all day at 100% engine load and 40 lbs. of boost no problem, they are smooth as hell and bad-ass.
Nerves of steel... that’s B J !
And future RUclipsr 😃
I’m the same way with John Deere combines. Just like your dad is with gleaners
Say them Gleaners are really affordable and maintenance is a breeze!
Love the vido nice combine
Easy fix part had me crying
does the Gleaner have the Agco 7 cylinder engine?
THANK God its not the weiner Gleaner machine!!! All heck woulda broke loose... since ur dad gonna be buyin it!!🤣🤣💯💯 Stay Safe!!👍👍🚜
Cool videos
Awesome from oklahoma
'Brian, your grain bins full' LOL 😅
Hey Bryan don't do what I did for 10 years, buy a full face mask they are about 150$. That soya dust is bad for lungs. Lol nice to see your old man so happy!!!
Awesome video Brian, I just wanted to bring up the fact that I could not open this on my phone, so if you notice lower than average views on this video, you will know why.
That’s odd. Works in my phone
You can turn a gleaner on a dime just have to flip the tires.
