I've been to the farm progress show a few times. Very interesting and informative. Back in the day (20 years ago) the joke used to be that we were checking out the machinery that we might be able to afford to buy for our operation 10 to 15 years from that point in time when it was half worn out and maybe in our price range. Sad to say 90% of the equipment there will never be within our price range so we don't even bother to attend anymore.
Good to see you and Dad in Iowa. Not far from me. This is a great show I think. Shows off a lot of new products. Brian, you are real good at interviewing these new products. Too bad the weather was so darn hot. 🥵 Makes looking at new equipment so uncomfortable. Sorry. Thanks Brian for showing us around. Enjoyed that. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Great job y’all, looks like y’all had a good time. If pops wouldn’t have had sunglasses on, I think he had a twinkle in his eye on the JD quad 830😂take care guys 🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
Thanks Brian for your excellent video. I think that Gleaner combines should be shipping their machines over to Europe as they would sell well there with the smaller size farms.
Check out Border View Farms, they purchased a 360 rain machine this spring. Have had several videos showing set up and operation including pluses and minuses. I'm sure if you were really interested Nathan would probably be open for a in person visit.

The interesting part of Agco's sale of its "grain and protein" business is that it expects a loss of $450-475 million.on the sale. That adventure started back in 2011 when they bought GSI, so not a great outcome for Agco.
I think that Gleaner combines should be shipping their machines over to Europe as they would sell well there with the smaller size farms . i like video
NATHAN BAKER at BORDER VIEW FARMS is running a 360RAIN now!!!!! THIS SEASON IN HIS IRRAGATED CORN FIELD !!! it is MAKING THE CORN LOOK WAAAAAAYYY NICER!!!! check a couple of his latest vids he shows it quite a lot, it had a steering glitch but they fixed it the next day... I think it was all tied to the GPS issues and SUNSPOTS solar activity or something ;) MAGNETICS :) BUT his corn that didn't get the 360RAIN half an inch every week or wutever it was.... his IRRAGATED CORN is barely starting to flash brown on the bottom THERE ARE STILL GREEN LEAVES TOUCHING THE GROUND on the 360RAIN FIELD!~!!! and the not irragated fields are half way up brown....
Brian, I wish you had asked the question of cost per acre to the 360 rain system. I'd like to hear the numbers. I know Nathan has one but I don't know if he has talked numbers.
Brian I drove a loader cat that was equivalent to the 220 volvo where I used to work and it had same type of joystick steering not bad but different to get used to me I like the steering wheel myself they ended up going with a john deere loader instead for new loader they got tired of volvo equip breaking down it was in scrap yard with shredder in mansfield ohio so they used the loader to load shredded steel on trucks and rail cars
DEER will sell ya a combine that will DO EVERYTHING but it would cost you another 100grand TO ENABLE EVERYTHING :) the red one gives it to ya:???? hummmmm lol sigh.... oh well ;) THANKS FOR TAKIN US ALONG ON THE RIDEALONG!!! :) MUCHO APPREACIEATEDEDITEDTITEDED :)
if the other post does not go thru, NATHAN BAKER at BORDER VIEW FARMS is running a 360RAIN THIS YEAR !!!!! YOU NEED TO SEETHE DIFFERENCES IN THE FIELD WHERE IT DONT GO!!!
Gleaner Rep has drank the cool aid. Surprised Deere or Case never hired him because he can tell you that yellow snow is the best slushie ever made. Just saying.
I heard from one dealer that there were many changes/improvements they would like to make but lower crop prices slowed them down so the price of the T series wouldn't get too high too fast.
Love Gleaner but that salesman spent too much time explaining two new things they did and didn't even mention the rotor reverse. I don't like Case but being able to check voltage at sensors and other diagnostics from in the cab is a slap in Deere's face.
Sky full of kem trails---hapening ALL over the world. Here in Scotland, no sun and cold all summer. End of August and we are into winter, colder and wetter than summer.
Border view farms has a 360 rain. He seemed to have alot of issues with it. Constantly ripoff two y drop water hoses then the gps went screwey so it trampled a bunch of corn. It costs more then twice as much as a pivot. Sure it uses less water. Then a pivot. But I like the plants getting washed off a kept clean and also the plant absorbed the water as well at the root. I would not have wanted multiple units of that thing. Nathan says he loves it but he is the type to say that. I would not buy one. Pivot all day. I’d rather use more water and spend way less on the hardware with a pivot. Much less to go wrong as well
I think the 360 needs a chance, as in at least harvest the paddock and do the sums which you know Nathan will. There will be certain paddocks that for whatever reason be it shape or terrain that the 360 will make more sense than a pivot. The dropper issue appears to be a work in progress and a defective steering angle hardly defines the machine.
I’ve seen some videos of it and it looks like it keeps laying more out until it runs out of hose, then drives back in the same track picking it up, so the hose is never actually dragged around.
Seen border view farms videos and it reminds me of towlines. Knock down a lot of corn and it has a lot of issues. Pivots and poly pipe is the most 2 efficient ways of irrigating. Hard hose traveler is a distant 3rd.
@BriansFarmingVideos I'm sure Nathan Baker @BorderViewFarms would be happy to show you their 360Rain in the field. They are on the North end of the state from you.

1000 percent correct but we are just a minority in voting, the poor city people and the illegals and ballot stuffing controls the elections and America
That gleaner rep is definitely romantically involved with that combine.
He’s just excited and likes his jobs
Thanks for taking us along. Have a happy and safe Labor Day weekend.
Thanks, you too!

Been missing your videos I used to start my day with your videos and all all summer. It’s been hard getting gone because I’ve been missing them.
Brillant video Brian all the best from cork ireland
Cool irrigation system!
Check out Border View Farms, they purchased a 360 rain machine this spring. Have had several videos showing set up and operation including pluses and minuses. I'm sure if you were really interested Nathan would probably be open for a in person visit.
I’m sure Nathan Baler would be happy to have your visit
No subscriptions is a heck of a selling point for that Case combine.
Yeah really surprised me when he said that
@@BriansFarmingVideos Seems like most companies no matter what industry nowadays are trying to make as much as they can with subscriptions.
When you went to the green booth after the red booth how much did the green charge you for the privilege.
Had a 10$ unlock you scanned to walk on the lot
@@BriansFarmingVideos😂😂 on a real note, it’s like $4k per machine just to share guidance lines.
Awesome video. Thank you guys
Thanks for watching!
The combine test was very interesting.
Great video! Harvest will be upon you quickly.
Yes it will
Well done Brian a good look at everything, A great view of what is happening in the USA, Similar in Australia but not on the same scale 😁👍👍
We all had a good laugh Tuesday at the FPS admiring the 1970’s auger on the Gleaner, compared to any other brand .
I don't know why I can't click "like" on your videos anymore.
Very Interesting Video. Glad to see the Harvesting.
Glad you enjoyed it
I like the Massey, i really think if agco wants to be bigger in the states the massey line should be there focus. A big frame 4wd would be really cool
Border view Farms has one on these Rain360. Awesome device

Lov it guys, bean a supporter of all all u guys from day dot all the best 👍
Brian that’s some good dirt. Very black dirt. Just like I prefer my women’s. Very black. But not dirty
It looks like a bunch of your subscribers also watch Border View Farms . I, too, was going to mention that he had a 360 also.
Like your new hats.
Thanks

That crop duster has 1600 hp and is headed to Algeria as a firefighting plane.
That irrigation implement is ridiculous. Just get a pivot.
Lotta good information
Just by a pivot with a lesa system on it. It’ll be cheaper and less of a headache.
You could get ahold of Border View farms in Michigan he has one. He's on utube
I would have liked to have been able to go this year
I’m right there with you if you are all for autonomous equipment then quit farming if you don’t want to be out there
👍👍
Call Nathan at Border View Farms and talk to him because he has one of the rain machines.
Are you ever going to do any spraying with your drone?
Gleaner Rep has drank the cool aid. Surprised Deere or Case never hired him because he can tell you that yellow snow is the best slushie ever made. Just saying.
Brian, you need to go check out your neighbor Nathan from Border view farms to check out his Rain irrigation system
The Case rep does not talk like he is interested in even being there 😂😂
All the other companies need a Gleaner rep to talk about their stuff 😂
Nice to see Cole too😊
Hopefully Bob will get him a side by side soon
Has a few
👍
All i was hoping for with the new gleaner was joystick steering 😢 maybe down the line?
I heard from one dealer that there were many changes/improvements they would like to make but lower crop prices slowed them down so the price of the T series wouldn't get too high too fast.
BF getting it done
You should have done a shout out for Border View Farms Channel for the Rain 360 system.
Agree

U seem to shy away from John deere wondering why
Bob can use the tool cat for trail riding😂
Harvesters start your corn heads!!
I have all trimble on my CIH equipment. Is it gonna change?

Hey Brian ,Nathan of boarder view farm hAs a 360 rain
Thank goodness for he didn’t get to say his obnoxious opening speech!!!!! Nice insight on the new technology!
What speech
@@BriansFarmingVideos Cole usual introduction on his channel.. I couldn’t take it anymore!
Lol
Did u see the young lad named Jackson thats lovesjohn deere
Did the case guy completely skip machine automation in 260 series combines ?
Walking around listening to these reps you would never know the ag economy is down. They don't give a shit if they bankrupt you.
Doesn’t look very crowded … knowone interesting in looking at new stuff to buy … imagine that
So PTX is middleware?
Software versus hardware?
Welcome to Iowa!
Question, did you have to tell them what your pronouns were before they would let you in the Deere booth?
I like it
When did Zach start working for Case 😂

Brian you will have to change your intro show the Fendt Combine.
You have to ask yourself, is the tractor smarter than BJ? Based on his NFL fandom choices, I have my doubts.
Anyone need a polaris ranger for 60,000 lol. People are crazy i need whatever they have been smoking or illegally selling. Case display monopoly?
how does that 360 irrigator deal with the main hose in a crop, it cant turn at the end can it cause then it is dragging the hose back over the crop
I’ve seen some videos of it and it looks like it keeps laying more out until it runs out of hose, then drives back in the same track picking it up, so the hose is never actually dragged around.

Brian, what happened to your Agco dealer?
From what I understand, he said that his AGCO dealer got bought out by someone else
@BriansFarmingVideos I'm sure Nathan Baker @BorderViewFarms would be happy to show you their 360Rain in the field. They are on the North end of the state from you.
🇨🇦👍
So you don’t show the gleaner 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏽
Mornin’
Border view farms has a 360 rain
Someone in southern Paulding County Ohio also has a 360 rain.
Interesting. Nathan Baker has a 360° Rain machine. Has had some issues in the new year.
You didn't show the gleaner 😮😮😢😢😢
That sprayer will run you
You would be better off with regular pivot irrigation
Who can remotely afford any new farm machinery at 1889 grain prices? And the government doesn’t care farmers struggle to just break even
It's not that the government doesn't care they want prices to remain low as to keep the farmers coming back for assistance.

Trump 2024 🙏🇺🇸
1000 percent correct but we are just a minority in voting, the poor city people and the illegals and ballot stuffing controls the elections and America
I meant 1990 prices when wheat was the same price as today and a combine and header cost 50000 dollars not 1 million
All those displays and informition and still no 500 bushel corn to pay for it
Brian does his crop dusting at the shop office. Right behind Bobby, Jr.
So gleaner did what case ih did 20 years ago with opening up the whole left side of the machine… im not a gleaner hater but this is not new
😂😂😂😂 I was thinking of the 9500 in 1989😂
To be honest I was somewhat disappointed that was one of the “big changes”. I do think the different drivetrain will be a good upgrade
Maybe not, but at least they finally did it.
That guy was way too excited over some stickers and shields..
@robo1210 who?
96 degrees with rain sounds absolutely MISERABLE.
